The Foundry reviews
202 trips here, both were fantastic. First off, very friendly staff, Mark served us brunch and is easily one of the best waitors I have ever had. We had cinnamon rolls, which he highly recommended and they were fantastic. Both meals were great as well. I had the breakfast burrito, and it was like an omelet wrapped in a tortilla. 2nd trip are waitress was decent, but the Pizzas and appetizers were phenomenal. Atmosphere kinda steampunk, outside bar is always packed.
I would not recommend. STAY AWAY! This restaurant is dirty all around and does not smell nice. The food was cold and flavorless. In my opinion, this is overprice garbage. Do yourself a favor go to McDonald’s.
The ambiance here is always great for the most part. A couple of the waiters/waitresses are nice-nasty, pretentious even, but the food is amazing.
We really like the restaurant welcomes our puppy. We enjoy the cocktails and now the Sushi Stack! One detractor is having to pay for parking.
Well priced bottomless mimosa. Went with a bachelorette party of 10 and was the perfect place for Sunday morning brunch.
Jax was our server and she was awesome. Helped out with surprise birthday treats and had great attention to detail. Food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.
The food was really good but for the price was a little disappointing because left hungry. My daughter had grilled octopus for $24, it was very good, but other than the crostinis there was no side with it, it really needs something else maybe a side salad to go with it. Maybe it's considered an appetizer but it was listed under seafood. My husband had the lobster and crab ravioli which he said we're ok. I had the "Mr. Fish" sea food bowl. It was extremely good, lots of seafood in it and the broth had a lot of flavor.
The best brussel sprouts and Margherita pizza is a pleasure.
Do not get their wings if you alot of seasonings because they keep them mildly seasoned.
We had been here once and it was excellent but now we’ll definitely be regulars because of John M. His service was beyond great and he was so attentive, caring and professional which unfortunately is all to rare these days. In addition, Fiona, the hostess was one of the most caring, professional sweet hostesses we’ve had in a long time anywhere! The food was great once again and so was the atmosphere.
Bartender was awesome; so were the drinks!
Food was meh.
It's been 2 years since my initial review, wanted to update:
All you can drink brunch is fun, waitress was great
Also, went to happy our and the date and bacon app was really good!
I'm lowering my stars because I noticed on my last check that they are including tax in your gratuity added calculation. A sly and underhanded thing to do. Am I supposed to tip the IRS?
I tip 20-30% and do my best to tip cash, this action by management is disgraceful.
The food was so delicious everything we had was very satisfying.but the best part was the service! Our waitress ASHLEY was the best! Her alone will make us go back and enjoy this place again She was awesome! Keep up the good work!
My first time here and I will definitely be back.the food was absolutely delicious! Mac and cheese was off the chain! But the best part of our time here has to be our server! ASHLEY your are an amazing person! If you see this THANK YOU! YOU ARE DOING GREAT!
My burger was way overcooked. The fries were good, though. The manager did remove the charge from our bill. I didn't like having to pay for parking.
Service and atmosphere were excellent, but food underwhelmed. I mean, it was good and no order issues, but very uninspired recipes. Ribeye was just okay flavor-wise, lacked a good searing I'd expect from "wood fired", and way overpriced. Dip was okay. Was excited to try the lobster ravioli, but it was just okay too (cream sauce was meh). Wished I'd ordered the bolognese or maybe something else. Wings were excellent. Definitely would give them another chance as the service and atmosphere were really good.
My favorite go to spot for a light dinner before a movie, and the keep changing and adding to the menu. Keeps it interesting
Erica was the best! Went here with my family for my birthday and had a really good experience. Will definitely be back. Erica made sure we were taken care of and our cups were never empty.
The pork chop was thick and juicy. The porta bello sandwich is largely flavored with Balsamic: not my favorite but the menu was clear about the seasoning. The fries were good. Service was very good. It stays open later than most restaurants in the area.
This is a great place for casual food eating. We ordered salads there and added a protein on the tops and the Greek salad was great and so was the goat cheese salad. One of us also ordered a cheeseburger and that was also a nice size burger. They have a happy hour from 4: 00 until 7: 00 and the place gets busy. Service was great. A lot of outdoor tables
Came in about 7 pm on a Wednesday, place was busy, hostess sat me on the patio outside facing in, or next to the bar. Server came by after almost ten minutes, said he would be back and did not wait for him to return.
First experience in this restaurant. Unfortunately, we were served by someone who didn't seem to like his job. Which made our dinner a little unpleasant. At least the food was good and of course we were the terrace.
