The Fresh Market, St. Petersburg FL

This place had a bad interior design flow making it an annoying challenge to navigate during their busy times; when I visited. I would opt for Trader Joe's next time probably.

They had organic spaghetti squash for a dollar 69 a pound pretty good the seafood department was a little bit slack no posted prices for oysters and I don't like eating Chilean sea bass it's not sustainable

Great products if you're willing to dish out the cash but I'm really disappointed in the staff. The deli people argued about who had to help me and there was an old lady who brought her bags and the cashier in front told her "we aren't using those because of covid" which is fine but the way she said it was really annoyed/nasty to a sweet old lady. I'm sure its just stress from saying it all a thousand times or having huge rushes of people but leaving paying double what I would at Publix you do have an expectation on service.extra star for so many special dietary need products and beautiful floral arrangements.

This is a tale of 2 stores, both Fresh Markets.
I live in the middle of both stores, the Clearwater location and St Pete.
They are night and day, Clearwater is always out of everything in the meat counter, and the market to me seems gloomy and drab, very dingy. Also the employee moral seems low as well, never a smile from them, it’s as if they hate their jobs?
Now the other store in St Pete is just the opposite, very bright and clean with no foul smells, the employees are always cheerful too, Rick Cox in the meat dept is very helpful and always cheerful, the produce is fresher too it seems.
Employees make or break a business, Clearwater store simply seems to not care about the customer where St Pete bends over backwards to help and make spending money pleasurable at least.
The meat case is always stocked too at St Pete, no excuses as with the other store up north.

This is the place where you can get all necessary organic and really fresh food. From chicken, meat and fish. Vegetables and fruits and everything you want.

Used to love this store but am ready to give up on it. Third time in last 60 days discovered meat spoiled day after I purchased it. Half a dozen times over the past several months that berries and pineapple were rotten the day I purchased (which I couldn't tell until I opened the package or cut into the whole pineapple). Every now and then is understandable, but this has become a regular thing.

Quite overpriced for the value. Try to be a bit too upscale but they underperformed on most levels. Bought 2 pounds of grouper and after 24 hours I threw away texture was mushy and smell certainly didn't encourage to risk it. Over $24a pound for trash? Overall fresh market was not too fresh at all save the aggravation at goto Whole Foods.

Wanted to get my turkey, and supplies for lamb stew. I got everything with one stop. Fresh lamb and turkey. The stew was great, you could have eaten the lamb without teeth! Can't wait to smoke the turkey.

They never have any twice baked potatoes! I can only get them 1 out of 8 try’s. I come early in the day as well. It’s super frustrating. I love them so much. Please cook more!

Stopped in for a snack and came out with so much more. Such a delight to shop here. Pleasantly surprised on Saturday at 1 pm no crowds clean and organized after there morning rush. Even found my favorite tamales they had stopped carrying a few years ago back in stock. Way to go Fresh Market.

Was expecting something like whole foods, but it's just kind of a more expensive version of Publix.

Very Wegmans vibes - nice interior and selection - but definitely not a store that focuses on sustainability.

I wish more FRESH MARKETS were in Florida. One in the Melbourne, FL area would be wonderful. WOW! Their meats, fish and poultry selection and displays were amazing. The baked goods and sweets were awesome. Soo much to choose from. Their price were fabulous and very friendly and helpful customer service was top notch. So if you have a FRESH MARKET in your area you are very fortunate. Maybe I'll see one in my neighborhood in the near future. I can wish, can't I.

Maureen in the floral and gift section is EXCEPTIONAL! I would give 10 stars if I could. She went far and beyond to help me arrange a gift basket for my husband. She listened to all my requests with genuine interest and suggested the perfect items to include. I hope this review makes it to her supervisor and that they recognize her top-notch service. Most people would have brushed me off and been unwilling to help out of apathy or laziness; not Maureen! She gave me the long lost "old school" care that is rare in our current world. I feel like I have a new friend and my hubby loved the basket!

Fresh Market has a lot of specialty products that other stores don't carry. This is my go to store for zero alcohol vanilla. You can find many different meats at the meat department. It's like going to the butcher without leaving the store. They also have a lot of food already prepared, priced by weight. The coffee aisle always smells so good. They have different nut butters you can buy fresh too.

Great place to pickup premade hot or cold meals. Great butcher & dessert section as well. Home town feel, friendly staff

I personally find the Fresh Market to be pleasing to walk into, as they have a great selection of fresh flowers & plants, fresh produce, seafood, meats, bulk nuts, candies & coffees, with boutique pricing and unfriendly staff.

Bought a few Steak Ribeyes and some Habanero Mango Bacon for the 4th. They were so juicy and the lady that served me was so nice. She even gave me great suggestions on things that she had tried and she was right it was the Habanero Bacon and wasn't that hot which was a good thing. Thx.

I came out Thursday in a monsoon to get one of their sausage Take n Bake pizzas. I called ahead to make sure it was in stock and the man on the phone was especially courteous to me. I took it home and added a 10 oz.jar of mushrooms. Cooked it about 2 minutes longer than directions and it was delicious! So much better than anything the chains are putting out. Thanks for making it available.
