The Fresh Market reviews
18 Terrible experience this morning in terms of client-oriented with Shaneeka (cashier). She was very rude, she did not care a bit about being respectful to me (customer) and her conduct was unacceptable. She should not be working with clients at all! She made my day miserable and my experience of going to the Fresh Market in Boca Raton instead of being joyful and comfortable.
I elevated the situation to the store
manager, Miguel, and he indicated he would talk to her. Don’t know whether he actually did something, but I wanted to give you my feedback about her. Very uncomfortable situation that no customer should experience, especially at that type of store.
Should you need details, please talk to the manager, Miguel or send me a message.
This place is awesome, as well as the stores around it. All well maintained and clean.
Fresh Market is very specific. I would say, everything bought in this place was worth it! The flowers, most especially the orchids are so fresh and when i was there. Not to mention, there were peonis too! Wow! Most of the time there are great specials.
However, when it comes to boxed dishes, only a quantity of (2) is allowed per shopper. Seems strange to me. Normally, high end specialty stores dont do this in my view. (that is why I just rated it 4 stars) The more you order the merrier in my humble opinion. Aside from that, everything was phenomenal.
Their apple pie, and cakes are overwhelmingly divine. The fruits and veggies are fresh, the presentation was awesome. I go there when special guests and family visit. The staff is very friendly and is well informed.
There is one thing that caught my attention. Kudos on whoever came out with this idea. While checking out, I noticed fragrantly fresh long bread was warm "steaming & glowing" exactly where the check out was. One would not help but purchase a fresh one. I wished I could have gotten (3) or more because it looked so enchanting! I know this will roll out so fast once everyone tells everyone about this simple and brilliant idea. Great job Fresh Market, and please re think about your specials for the "Food in a Box" limited to (2) clients. Just make more boxes if you run out of food. This is the holidays. Thank you.
I was in this store today. It was well stocked and I found what I came in for. The reason for the one star review is as I was passing the deli I saw a customer with a dog on a leash. This customer didn't appear to be blind nor disabled. The dog wasn't wearing a vest saying it was a service animal. It appeared to be a household pet. Apparently the store manager Michael Gillespie isn't aware of the policy regarding service animals. Here it is: The following is taken from the ADA website. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
The last line says it all comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. Shame on the store manager and employees for allowing this to happen. The health department needs to be aware of this and perhaps fine the store. The manager should be terminated for not doing his job.
Last 4x we got meat (prime steaks) they had meat glue and fell apart during handling pre cooking. For 30$+ per steak it's insane. Nothing fresh here, just the name!
Fresh Market offers an exceptional selection of high-quality groceries, with a focus on fresh, organic, and gourmet products. While it may be on the expensive side, the quality and variety justify the cost. The produce is consistently top-notch, and their specialty items are a foodie's dream. If you're looking for premium groceries and are willing to invest a bit more, Fresh Market is the place to go.
I don't know what it going on in the meat department. I started going to this location about a year ago because it's the only place local for me that has not-frozen baby back ribs. On four separate occasions I have gotten home and the rack smells like offal. Not awful, offal. Innards. Absolutely disgusting. From then on I started asking to smell them before they get wrapped, and most of the employees treated me like I asked to smell their armpits. The one time I didn't ask for a whiff I got home and, yup, turned around and went right back. This past Sunday I decided to get some cilantro lime chicken thighs as well as ribs. I stuck them in the instapot and within three minutes my entire house REEKED. When I say this chicken stank, it's an understatement. My wife and I thought "well maybe it's just the seasoning". Nope. Tasted horrid. I will never shop here again. I have never had this experience with Publix, Whole Foods, or even Winn effing Dixie.
Loved my first experience at Fresh Market - I’ve converted! Goodbye to all the other food markets. And those muffins of theirs - the best!
Came in to purchase the chuck and find out members no longer get it for $2.99 lb. On Tuesdays. It's $3.99. So being a member no longer has its advantage.
They have great specials. I had their tuna fish salad and it was very good not too much mayo. They should not let dogs in the store, with the exception of dogs for handicapped people, which are not emotional support dogs.
One of the prettiest markets in the country offering the freshest meats, seafood produce and more. A nice selection of prepared foods and a good bakery. Staff is friendly and helpful. Join the loyalty program and you will receive an email with daily specials offering substantial savings.
Certain foods they run out of often, the Delray Beach Store needs better inventory control, it’s very frustrating to shop there.
This store is a pleasure to shop.
Always well stock and clean.
Tanisha is great answering questions, greeting you with a smile.
I always go out of my way to shop there for fresh produce & more.
Their produce is outstanding have specialty items you can’t feel nbd in Publix. Great clean store
Everything is overpriced for no good reason that I can see.but the sourdough bread is amazing is the only thing I go for.
Terrible customer service, will criticized you if you make a mistake not professional at all
Their precooked chickens & salmon are so good. Produce section always looks great. The one item I would change would be in their pre made salads - please put cheese in a bag or on the side. Some of us would love to but your salads but can’t have cheese.
I like this market a lot. Only problem I have ever had is at the cashier stand as some of the cashiers aren’t the most helpful or friendly. Also they don’t have a customer service return counter which is not the most convenient, otherwise I enjoy the products and think the market is very clean and nice
2nd Update: Ordered a cake on Monday @ Fresh Market while shopping, showed up Tuesday as promised BUT NO CAKE. APOLOGIES TO THE 14 PEOPLE AT OUR DINNER! 1st: Great fresh produce selections. We tried 5 different cooked items, though we only really liked the flavor of one. Fantastic meats, cheeses, fish choices. A bit expensive
