Update: After waiting 2 days, Lindsay from the Gardens funeral home just called me admitting they dropped the ball and that my dads remains weren’t stuck in traffic like we were told. She said it was because we changed the date (nearly 2 weeks before) and it became a transportation issue. (They were the ones who set the date with the VA). She sounded accusatory and blaming me. She asked me to stop leaving bad reviews. She got angry when I said it was my right. Lindsay raised her voice at me and asked if I have ever owned a business and just because it happened to us didn’t mean it would happen to anyone else. She was crying saying that she apologized and doesn’t know what else to do. I asked her to imagine what it felt like not knowing where his body was and explained it was no way to treat a war hero. She asked me to remove my reviews. I believe she was more concerned with my reviews than forgetting about my dad’s military funeral. It was an absolute nightmare for my 91 year old mother not knowing where daddy’s body was for 1½ hours.

The Gardens of Boca Raton were nearly 1½ hrs late in bringing my fathers casket to his military funeral on May 30,2023. There is no excuse to put my father’s remains, his wife, children, grandchildren, friends, Honor Guard, Patriot Guard Riders, and military personnel through this. My dad was at a morgue in the same town as the National Cemetery. My brother called The Gardens of Boca Raton and they said they were in traffic (the funeral home wasn’t that far away either and should always make time for traffic). We were told the CEO Garrett Jacobs was at a doctors appointment and unreachable. There were other funerals after us that were most likely held up as well because it is a veterans cemetery. Because of their 1½ hour delay, our rabbi was informed that his eulogy could only be 1 minute long and the honor guard was saying they would have to leave shortly. The VA perform funerals every fifteen minutes. The Patriot Guard was there to escort my dad to the ceremony and we were supposed to follow behind the hearse. We all had to wait where the ceremony was to be held instead of accompanying my dad. It was a devastating 1½ hr wait for my 91 year old mother and the rest of Marty’s family. I can only imagine how many military families were indirectly impacted by their failure to bring my father's remains to his military service burial on time. No family should ever have to go through this.

The Leadership team is committed on keeping the grounds beautiful and it shows. They work hand in hand with our team to pick the flowers which they replace 4 times a year, add new landscape, professional landscape designs for the moseliums, keep trees trimmed and to make sure the Gardens are a peaceful place to visit.

During this heartbreaking time of my life, I went to the Gardens of Boca and was introduced to Kayla. I was blessed to have my Dad in my Life till he had passed at 103 years old. Kayla took such good care of me and my family and helped me make all the arrangements I needed to make for my Dad. I would highly recommend Kayla to help you with your loved ones arrangements.

I have been here twice to visit the grave site of Jahseh Onfroy, better known as XXXTENTACION. His grave site is spectacular and has a great view. Overall, the cemetery as a whole is spectacular. It is well maintained and is absolutely high class. I've been able to find parking no problem as well.

X caused a riot because he said people should look at me but after the tragedy of Jocelyn Flores he made changes,
he wanted to take a step back from music but returned, he used to say f love but then he turned back and wanted everyone to have hope he knew everyone had obsession and depression, he wanted revenge against death which took his friend away But he never got it, in reality all he wanted was a remedy for a broken heart he wanted to raise awareness for horrible causes because if he didn’t the awareness would be going down, he wanted everyone to be happy because everyone dies in their nightmares, so he wanted people to have happy dreams, instead, he wanted everyone to sleep peacefully under the moonlight but now he is gone and we all feel sad! We also feel bad because we all underestimated him, he wanted to save me and everyone else and now he is our guardian angel.
