The Haven, Sarasota FL

I'd say that my first experience it's not that impressive and I need help with my son, try to call them, no answer, and maybe call me back?

I was an employee for the Haven from July 2017 to January of 2020. I enjoyed my time I spent with the clients and children I taught. I absolutely loved my job and was very passionate about the children I was with! I made friendships that will last a lifetime with people at this facility, some are beautiful inside and out, and some are there for a paycheck like any job. As an employee for the Haven rules Change everyday and the communication lacks, as well as the organization! The Haven is a beautiful place for children and adults with disabilities. I was an assistant teacher and teacher in the academy. Alison Thomas is the director of Education.she is a beautiful person and truly is fair and has done amazing things for this place. She cares about her employees and the process. She’s a very hard working women and deserves that shout out! I will not speak on administration that’s where it’s very dishonest and and unfair which is ok because every job will have that. As for me I’m honest and will approach things if I’m not comfortable with it which I did and was terminated which I completely excepted! I would suggest this place for children 1 to 22. Preschool and Academy! I don’t have any information about ADT for I only visited and did not work directly! My sister is an employee and worked in ADT for a year and is also now in the Academy. At one point this place was my family, it will always be a part of my journey!
