The Home Depot reviews
15Associates don't seem to know where items are. Rang bell for assistant and never got a response. Not happy with this store.
Personally I like shopping here. The outdoor gardens I prefer. Flowers and scrubs and trees. Christmas Displays are set up nicely. Customer service could be better. Someone just ask do you need assistance once and awhile.
Good store trip. I was just assisting a neighbor grab a couple sheets of plywood but the guy at the desk was friendly and pointed is exactly to what he asked for. The plywood was in good shape too. Store was clean and the lines weren't bad. In and out in 15 minutes with exactly what we needed.
All of these department stores are turning into Walmarts. The question I had was on Septic systems. Not sure anyone could've given me the answer, but there was no one there that knew jack about septic. The guy who did was none to be found (even though he was supposed to be on). Three guys gave me the blankest stares I have ever seen At least one guy was honest (about guessing, I do honestly thank him for his honesty). He more or less confirmed my guess. After a 30 minutes trip turned into a three hour escapade, I somehow managed a creative improvise that fixed my septic. Had no idea something that it seems should be so simple could be so freaking complicated. Lowe's is an honorable mention in this mess too. They didn't even have the piece. On the plus side, I got an on the fly plumbing lesson. Learned I am good at executive guessing, also.
Love Daytona beach homedepot because it’s not as full as a sardine can, compared to my usual Miami one hehe. Employees even ask you if you need help, definitely not like Miami.
After hunting down help we're able to locate what we needed. No so easy to check out since only self serve credit card only registers open. Waited 5-10 minutes for help at customer service.
I have been a Lowes shopper in the past, but this trip to Home Depot may change my preference.
I rented a truck from HD for a few hrs and IF I ever need a truck again for a few hour job they get a 5 Star, service department was great and very helpful.
I went in for lumber. Not one available lumber cart. They were all tied up sitting loaded with phone and internet orders. Dumbest thing I've ever seen. Put the orders on pallets or purchase more carts for actual customers.
I had an emergency situation and i needed help finding a part. I approached Ms Tina while she was on her phone and she huffed and acted in a rude manner. I then walked away because I was offended. Ms Jenniffer saw the situation and came and offered me help. Thank God for employees like Ms Jennifer who will go above and beyond to help their customers.
We are in the process of remodeling our condo. We made a terrible choice to buy the things we are using from Home Depot. To make sure we had enough of the products we needed we bought extra. We were told we could return them. Home Depot now contracts with an outside company that decides if they will allow you to bring products back. We bought too many gfi outlets and we tried to return them, our return was declined and now we are stuck with them
Even the manager of the store can't override their decision.
Next we ordered 4 windows. They were not cheap. We were told it would be 4 to 6 weeks to get them. In the 6th week they told us they were delayed and would be in in 2 more weeks. That was 5 weeks ago. They keep saying that the vendor is in disarray check back next week.
Home Depot makes you pay for the product up front. They have their profit, they could care less when we receive our windows and since we have paid we can't go elsewhere. I know the poor people working there feel terrible but there's nothing that they can do.
BEWARE IF YOU SHOP HERE. I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT SMALL COMPANIES IN THE FUTURE.
Went in for new toilet and flange repair ring. Got excellent service from Brian R. He noticed I was having trouble loading the toilet with my cane. He help me buy an all in one toilet and found the flange repair ring.which by the way is not even close to the toilet repair parts section. He made a difficult endeavor for me very easy. Thank you.
I am deaf and going the Home Depot. I ask a staff for help. Staff told me, wait for few minutes but I waited at 1 hour. I asked a staff for help fast now and enough time. Staff told me few minutes. All staffs never helped people deafs.
I’ve been to this Home Depot at least 5 times in the past two weeks as I’ve recently purchased a home. The customer service is HORRID. Every time I go in the workers are rarely helpful, and constantly make rude comments or unjustifiable accusations. I will be closing credit card account and going somewhere else.
Most of the time they have everything you need. Employees are sometimes hard to find but understand this in our time now.
