Do yourself a favor and try this place immediately! The food is well prepared, full of flavor, and as comforting as it gets. When you try the jerk chicken - that's real pimento flavor, folks! Doesn't get any better! The staff is also very friendly and attentive!

Had the opportunity to meet the chef/owner who is very pleasant and welcoming! The food was authentic and delicious to rahtid. I love everything about the restaurant!

The best Jamaican food in Tampa! Probably the best Jamaican food I've ever tasted! Everything about this place is great. The quality of food is top notch and the environment is very laid back and friendly! Love the jamaican music playing softly in the background. Always a treat to eat here! The Oxtail especially is a must have!

Stopped in for lunch for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food was ready in a timely manner, fresh, and full of flavor! Oh! The beef patty is prepared in-house, Juicy betta watch out! Will visit again. Bless!

Oxtail, jerk chicken, rice, plantains, cabbage & meat pies - all fresh & delicious. Ordered medium portions, which were still enough for two servings. Jerk chicken option white or dark meat.

Drove by this restaurant and few times and finally decided to give it a try. So so so so good. I am from Jamaica and recently moved here from New York, it’s been so hard to find some good Jamaican food but this place? SO GOOD! (And I am a tough judge on JA food!) Highly recommend if you want that OG Jamaican cuisine. Inside is very clean and the guy at the front has great customer service.

Best plate of food I’ve had since moving to tampa! Ordered the jerk chicken and it was 10/10.chef/owner came out to ask how we were doing and everything.

The food is great as well as the service. I usually order the stew chicken and it never disappoints.

Would've uploaded a picture but didn't think about it until after my food was gone! Had oxtail with white rice plantain and cabbage. Spice was perfect and enjoyable. Would highly recommend since not all Jamaican food is created equally. I will dine again!

Great little hole in the wall type of place. The food is really good and huge portions even for the smaller option. Staff was nice and offered suggestions, even the chef who is the owner came out to talk to us. I will be coming back again.

Everything about The Hummingbird Jerk House was fantastic. I ordered the Brown Stew Chicken with peas, rice, and cabbage. It was served hot with the meat falling off the bone and the sides cooked to perfection. Also, I ordered a beef patty that was so good that I ordered another. The restaurant was very clean, and the jamacian music playing is a vibe. Customer service is exceptional. Highly Recommended!

If you’re in the Tampa Bay Area you have to visit. Food was excellent customer service great. Cleanliness is the next level.

I likes. Favorite part is the portion size. Just big enough to be full. Them dumplings were really good. I also had the curry goat which wasn't not overpowered by the typical home style spice I remembered getting when visiting family. Which is what I prefer when out.

Tables clean and the restaurant was neat. Nothing more could have been expected on that front. Thanks for the good food and service!
