The Kitchen, Safety Harbor FL

Took forever to receive food. Salad was plain, with the only offering of house vinaigrette that was all vinegar. Scallops were perfect, but you better eat before you have dinner here. As the portions are tiny.and expensive. The wait staff were nice but not very on the ball, clearing empties and refilling. Ordered dessert, and that took 20 minutes to arrive.

Have to give props to this little treasure of a restaurant. From the time I started planning, they were always friendly, timely and organized. But when we actually arrived today - we felt even more love. The staff was attentive and welcoming to everyone in our party. The food and drinks were delicious. They absolutely did everything with 110% effort. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to share this beautiful (and extremely rare) family get together.

We booked the patio pavilion for a rehearsal dinner. The whole team were amazing to work with! The food was excellent, atmosphere lovely, staff fun and amazing. Everyone in the party came over to ask “How did you find this place? !? ! ”
Absolutely perfect doesn’t come close.

We sat outside in the beautifully lit garden area. The place was packed but we still received excellent service. Every meal my party had was amazing! Good sized portions, delicious and nicely presented. Inside there was a live band playing the antique piano and singing, which created a very cool atmosphere.

I will definitely go back the next time I am in Safety Harbor and highly recommend to anyone who loves a great dining experience!

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I shared a bunch of apps and are already so excited to come back for brunch! The service was incredible. Rosie was a great server, and Mandy was helping. Both were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and then some! What a great experience!

The good is delectable and filing. The service is outstanding. Mindee was awesome, and David was gracious and attentive. You really do want to eat here.

Friendly staff from the front door to the servers. The food was excellent snd the vibe was pleasant.

My shrimp and grits were so tasty and so delicious. My husband ordered the burger and truly enjoyed his burger. We had our dogs with us and we were able to sit out on the back porch, it was delightful for the dogs and so pleasant for us. The staff here, can't find enough good words to say about them. We'll be going back!

My husband and I had an amazing meal! I had the chippino and he had the chicken picatta. Both entrees were exceptional!
Ruby took care of us and she was personable and professional! Very sweet and accommodating!

A hidden gem and my favorite restaurant and place to hang in the Tampa area. Atmosphere is unique, warm, cozy, but lively and fun without being loud. Each room has its own personality and unique space and you feel like it's just yours. From the paintings and wall murals created by local artists (to include some of the restaurant's employees!) to the old piano and creative lighting, the decor is interesting and adds individual character to each room. The staff is excellent and engaging. Food and cocktails are top notch, and the drink offerings go well beyond the usual and expected, yet they remain firmly rooted in the classics. The bar has an impressive collection of gin in particular and some very talented and personable bartenders (shout out to Thomas!) to walk you through it all. In short, it's an extremely welcoming and relaxing place with a refined sense of itself, offering New American flavors and well balanced cocktails to accompany the delicious food. I always enjoy myself here.

Just incredible food and service. The pacing, the vibe, the quality were all on point. Rosey was our server and she couldn’t do enough. We came for our anniversary and everything exceeded expectations Going to be a staple for my wife and I.

Our first time there. From the time we walked in getting greeted by David to the moment we left a all around a great experience. Mandi, our server, very attentive and friendly. Jeremy with good advise on wine selection. Rebecca just being friendly with good advice even though we were not her table to serve. Food was great and we can’t wait to go back!

Super accommodating team and beautiful surroundings. Everything we ordered was exceptionally delicious. You must order the duck!

Wonderful Saturday morning brunch. Food was perfectly prepared and staff was friendly and attentive.

Came in for dinner with no reservations on a Friday. Was able to get a great seat in under 15 minutes.
Again the staff is amazing and attentive.
Can't get enough of the menu.
Try the Cioppino. If you are a seafood person, this is an amazing broth. Well seasoned and packed with flavor.

Scallop appetizer was delicious. I had the bronzed red drum, which was among the best I’ve ever had. She had the filet with shrimp, amazing. The old fashioned was very well balanced and so good I had to get a second.

Beautiful place inside so unique and the food was amazing and the waitstaff very attentive and welcoming. Drinks were yummy.

Only issue was the back porch does echo when loud patrons. So I would recommend sitting up front or in the bar area for a more romantic dinner. I did not take off on their rating because they had no control over the patrons.

Great food and good menu, but the service was slow. In their defense, they did appear to be short handed.

We came in on a busy evening without a reservation the host initially wasn't going to be able to seat us but went above and beyond to get us a table. A±

Our server Ray was super sweet and awesome. She knew the menu and we never felt rushed or like we had been forgotten about. A+

The food was delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly tender. The lobster ravioli was a home run and we are still talking about the CANDIED ROASTED GARLIC in the beet salad. There is nothing like that and I need it. A+

Cozy, Delicious food.

While walking around town we found this wonderful place on my maps app. Thank you Google. The staff are very friendly and polite. The atmosphere is special. The food is off the chart delicious! Started with Old Fashioned and champagne. Beautiful presentation. Then tried the stacked tomatoes which are a delightful way to serve mozzarella. The soup of the moment was potato and carrots. A creamy delicious soup seasoned perfectly. The filet mingneon was super tender. Sweet potato mashed are a perfect combination. The stuffed Mahi is amazing and the side salad is great. I would highly recommend this Kitchen as a wonderful place to dine. Enjoy.
