the Lakeside Church, Oakland FL

Today was my first Mother’s Day with my 6 month old baby. As we live nearby, I was so excited to attend and try this church for the very first time. We got there around 10: 05 for a service that started at 10am. Immediately we were told there were no seats for us so we needed to sit outside of the auditorium in a loud lobby where you aren’t actually part of the service. We walked back to our car extremely disappointed. A volunteer drove up on a golf cart, when we mentioned we were visiting for the first time and we did everything we could to get out with a baby he said they’d give us “special treatment” and make sure to get us seated inside… they walked us all the way back inside the building (I’m carrying my baby this whole time) only to say again there were no seats for us. I started crying subtly at this point and left in tears with my baby without ever setting foot in the sanctuary. It felt upsetting to be a first time mother on Mother’s Day who did everything I could to get myself and a baby ready to be in church full of high hopes only to be turned away from even being allowed to step into the sanctuary.

Just listened to Jase deliver the word this morning and he did a great job! We listen online because we moved to NC, but so love Lakeside! Thanks again Jase!

I am a brazilian pastor, studyng about health church in my last 22 years. I can tell you - Lakeside is a real healthy church. They care about new guest, kind, the message was a bless for my entire family - christian values and biblical centered.

We were seeking a Church to call home after moving. Lakeside has an amazing feel good atmosphere while worshipping Jesus. It is well diversified and the Pastor as well as the entire church staff have been amazing. Thank you Lakeside!

Great place of Worship, I came in July and I joined in November and God is blessing my life, come check us out!

Worship is Always an Experience and As a Worshipper it's Important but above All the Word Given at the Church is Transforming and Always Right on Time. Thank You Pastor Jason and Lakeside for your Love and Passion for the People!

I had a really fun time with my friend at the Halloween event they held! Everyone is so friendly!

First time here. So much energy. The Spirit lives in that house!
Oddly, 30 minutes into the service a man approached me and told me I wasn’t allowed to stand in the back. All the seats were full but I have to stand because of back pain issue. He didn’t ask why i was standing. He didn’t offer an alternative. This same man walked by me many times during the 30+ minutes I had been standing there (as did many folks who work there) and he didn’t say anything…
Odd. Oh well. God’s driving.

This church is awesome! From the pastor to the parking lot attendants EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE is great. They make you feel like you're part of their family from day one. To God be the glory!

This Church is amazing. Pastor Jason is passionate about worshiping. Along with his desire to preach the word of God. The music is Amazing the band and the singing really brings you closer to Christ.
