I’m going to just say this whole process was life changing for me. I don’t usually leave reviews but for this I will. From start to finish this business has been one of the most helpful and polite groups of individuals. From this initial phone call the help line was exceptional in giving me answers to my concerns and helping me set up my appointments was very prompt and fitting to my schedule. The staff here were all very nice especially Dr. Duffield she was super nice and helped calm me down before meeting the surgeon and going through my lasik. Dr Ivan is an exceptional eye doctor and was very informative. He helped me understand perfectly what was going on and even talked to me through the surgery to help distract me. All in all absolutely an amazing thing to be able to see again and would recommend everyone to use the Lasik eye institute of Jacksonville

The staff was very friendly and informative. I love that the Dr.talked me through what was happening so that I was ready for all the different steps being done during procedure, which help me focus and stay calm. I haven't been able to see without contact and glasses for over 30 years. It's so amazing how everything is even clearer than with my contacts. It will be awesome to go scuba diving in the future with more freedom.

If you are considering Lasik, hands down, choose this office. Every single staff member was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I never felt like just a number. I never once felt rushed, and I had a lot of questions. I was super nervous going into the surgery and they were so calming from the time I walked in till the time I left. They gave me so much information so I knew what to expect, spot on. It’s the day after my surgery and I went back for my post-op appointment, and I now see 20/20. Take my advice and book your life changing appointment now!

My experience wasn't as great as I'd hoped it would be to be quite honest, and I believe it had an impact on how my surgery turned out. I will say my first visit went well, and at that appt I had been informed that some of the same tests that they performed that day (such as checking for eye pressure, etc) would be performed on my day of surgery. However, when I arrived to my surgery appt 30 minutes early, it was to find the lobby absolutely swarmed with people. I was seen fairly quickly to sign financial paperwork of course, but was then left to wait (with everyone else fairly) for 3 Long Long Hours past my surgery time. Ultimately, the other small meetings with the medical practitioners in the rotation process were rushed, and the tests they said they would perform were not done. What REALLy toke the cake for me though was when I called the next morning, trying to inform them that I would be 30 minutes late for my follow-up appt (that they themselves stress is very important), because my light sensitivity was making it difficult to drive, they told ME that the could no longer keep my appt and to come back a week later. I urge the institute to do what it needs to, to fix these issues.

I was very nervous about getting LASIK, but the entire staff and Dr. Hagan were so patient, kind, and informative! They made me feel comfortable and safe, and the entire experience was very easy! I’m amazed at how quickly the surgery went, and I can see so clearly! I can see better now than I did wearing my contacts or glasses! Highly recommend! This has been a life changing experience for me!

I had my LASIK procedure yesterday and just left my follow up. I have 20/15 Vision! The staff here absolutely cares about you as a person, not just a patient. Every staff member - from the ladies at the front desk, the optometrists, and the surgeons - they were all kind and excited about what they do. I was super nervous going in, but there’s seriously not a single thing to be nervous about. The surgeon told me exactly what he was doing throughout the entire procedure (it’s very short). I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort in the least bit. I am so glad I chose this location.

I am so happy I made this decision! It was so easy and painless. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable.
Dr. Ireland is so nice about explaining everything he is doing during the procedure (so no surprises).
After I got home, there was only a couple hours of burning sensation (like I touched my eyes after I touched a pepper) and watery eyes but that was the worst part of the whole experience! I slept afterwards and when I woke up I was seeing just like I had my contacts in!
Again, I am very happy with the outcome!

Had my consultation on 5/23 then surgery on 5/26. I had the PRK procedure. It was quick and easy PRK is a slower healing process than Lasik but it was worth it. I am now 20/25 vision which is past what they expected my vision to be. Everyone was so kind to me and I highly recommend getting your surgery here.

Went to the LVI in Jacksonville Fl yesterday for the procedure, the procedure was fast and easy! Doctors were awesome! Went to follow up today and my vision is now better than 20/20! Couldn’t be more happy with my experience

Lasik eye Institute made me feel very comfortable. They answered all questions and were very informative. Dr Ireland explained the procedure before and during treatment. Everything he explained happened just as he did it would. The next day I could see perfectly. Grateful to leave my glasses behind after 20 years!

Today is my first day post-op and I'm able to see 20/20! The staff at LVI is fantastic, I felt very prepared for my surgery and post-op. Having this procedure done is truly life changing - waking up and not having to reach for my glasses or put in contacts is truly surreal! I can even see far ahead of me while driving, no more missed exits 10/10 recommend Lasik to anyone who is eligible. It's worth every penny and worth the first few hours of discomfort right after surgery. I'll be recommending LVI to all of my friends and family who wear glasses or contacts!

My experience was top notch eye sight already at 20/20 just after one day and study improving hight recommend anyone who wants to see better to get the Lazer treatment the best.

My Vision is 20/20 now! I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. No more glasses or contacts for me! I'm truly satisfied with Lasik. The staff where so friendly and professional. The procedure took about fifteen minutes. The Doctor was thorough and made me feel very comfortable, he talked me thru the whole procedure. It was not painful, no discomfort during the procedure at all. Then I went home and slept the rest of the day, the next day I could see clearly. I recommend this to anyone who needs glasses. I also didn't have to pay a dime, they financed the whole thing with no interest for a year. I am so happy I chose to get Lasik! Wish I did it sooner

Came in and had my eyes fixed the NEXT DAY.
Day after that I was driving around living life without glasses.
