The Library - inspired by the George Peabody Library, St. Petersburg FL

We ordered 3 Prosciutto flatbread pizzas for lunch. All 3 were disappointing. It is way too expensive ($21!) for the lack of ingredients that were given. There was a few bits of prosciutto, one lump of ricotta in the middle, scant mozzarella, barely any balsamic vinegar, and a small lump of arugula. Just this past spring, the “same” pizza was totally different. Sad.

I have been to this restaurant many times for business meetings, celebrations, dinners with friends, casual lunches. Always enjoyable, with impeccable service! Also, and this is something particularly key for business lunches, it is never laud. No need to yell to each others and no room for misunderstandings. Their food spans from contemporary American to some Italian favorites. Their cocktails are excellent and they have a good assortments of beers including local breweries. Parking has never been a problem as it is off the high traffic area of Downtown. Indoor and outdoor which is available, as far as I know year round. Highly recommended.

With prices are close to gordon ramsays restraunt, quality around a disney restraunt, and ambiance just a little better than a starbucks, this place wants to be oxford exchange really bad without actually being it.

A MUST! I ate with The Library for a business dinner this past week. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure our team was comfortable and had an enjoyable time. The atmosphere within the restaurant alone is enough of a reason to check this place out. You will not regret dining with at The Library.

My friends and I decided to have our “ Girls Day” lunch at The Library. When I made the reservation they said I needed to provide my credit card info because we had 6 people in our party. That turned me off immediately, and I considered going elsewhere but didn’t. I ordered a salad with shrimp. I chose mixed greens, noodles, brussel sprouts, goat cheese and chopped egg. I received the wrong salad which they took back. It was incorrect the second time as well due to missing the noodles. I didn’t say anything and ate part of it. The only good tasting part was the Gorgonzola Crem dressing. (I also had a lavender lemonade Mocktail that was good). When I received the bill I thought it was wrong. With the included tip & tax it was $41.09! The salad portion of the menu is very misleading. I also did not see anything on the menu showing that the tip would be included on the bill. I’m assuming it was because we had a large group.
Believe me, if this salad was unbelievably delicious, I would not feel the need to write this review.
Another person in our party ordered a BLT which was missing the bacon.

The restaurant itself is cute, but I will not be back.

The greatest brunch spot in the Tampa/St. Pete area.

Food: 5/5 - You can get pretty much anything here. The french toast is my preferred choice.

Atmosphere: Relaxing and pleasant. There are real books on there bookshelves.

Service: You can get seated quickly and the staff are friendly.

I ordered baked truffle Mac and cheese and what I got was noddles and milk. There was nothing baked about it, if you could put disrespect on a plate it would be the caption I attached to this review. Don’t order the Mac and Cheese. Edit - So I decided rating the meal was necessary but also altering it as a means of showing the staff what should actually be sent out. I added three cheese blend, Parmesan, and a little milk then baked it.

Such a cool vibe! Love the coffee bar and all the books! My husband and I were greeted with kindness by gentleman and promptly seated. Our food came out quickly, but I did find that my sandwich was sadly missing a lot of the flavors I love in a traditional BLT. I’m giving 3 stars because the waitress kept sweeping by my husband and I while we were trying to eat our food which was causing dust to fly up in the air-on 3 different occasions. It kind of ruined the experience because I felt like she was trying to get us to hurry up and eat and leave as we came in close to brunch service being over. We were only their for maybe 30 minutes as we just ate our blt’s and drank our coffees. We were in a hurry ourselves and just wanted a quick bite to eat. It was actually so bad my husband almost bumped into her while trying to take a photo of me! Hopefully the next experience, if we dine in agin is much better as I do love the ambiance and would like to give this spot a second chance.

Upon arrival no one greeted us as we entered the restaurant. Nice interior but service and food were sub par. I ate 2 bites of my steak sandwich as it tasted like cold dry beef and cold french fries. When paying 20$ for a sandwich I expect a great sandwich not something I can get from a cafeteria. Maybe all the staff was having a bad day but I was very unimpressed. I will not be coming back.

The service here was top notch! Kudos to management for excellent training. The food was good. The fish tacos were over-cumined I will say. Too much of the spice overpowers the milder fish flavor. And the steak sandwich was good. Not a large serving of steak, but good. The regular fries were ok but recommend the truffle fries instead. Nice atmosphere and again, excellent service.

Beautiful place but the kitchen staff is the worst of any place I’ve ever been they won’t do anything to accommodate the customer however it’s on the menus that’s what u get or at least wait for while everyone else eats. Save your money go somewhere else

An eye popping charcuterie board and great tequila! An open and humanely volumed space. We had a great dinner in part due to the food and incredible crème brûlée and also because our server Kristina was amazing! Knowledgeable and kind. She got me hooked on the Corazon tequila! If you’re in St. Pete definitely check it out.

Not a good day at The Library. Arrived at 3: 00 pm on a Sunday and was seated promptly. Unfortunately that was one of the few good things about this visit. They were out of the appetizer we wanted, out of cinnamon rolls. Breakfast burrito was edible but the potatoes that came on the side and the ones in the burrito were not. Completely stale and hard. Disappointing visit for sure. However, the noodle salad with shrimp that was ordered by one of us was a thumbs up.

I went here with a group of friends for my gfs bday & we all could agree that everything we ordered lacked flavor. I got the breakfast burrito & only took 2 bites because it was that bad. My gf had MOLD on her pancakes but didn’t notice until we got home & there’s honestly more details but I don’t have the energy to list everything that sucked. Definitely will never be coming back. Overpriced & not good just be careful. I think this place is only so hyped up because of then aesthetic.

Literally amazing! The atmosphere here is so cool, relaxed, and so classy. The server was so helpful and gave great suggestions. It was so inviting and made a girls get together dinner memorable. Definitely one of my favorite new places. They give you the bill inside a book. Super cute little details!

P. S The chef cheese board is the best thing ever!
