The Long Walk Home reviews
18 I've had the pleasure to get to know Ron and his crew over the last couple months. Great people trying to make a difference.
I've witnessed the positive effect these people have on the community they serve.
I am not sure what is meant by this place. But if it is in Tampa I have not been there. I am over by Miami in Pembroke Pines. I live in a nursing home, thus unable to go anywhere especially with Covid. The photo did not attach. I do not know where to go from here but I'm not accomplishing anything. What are my rating with the stars?
This is a fantastic organization. I am usually a little hesitant to try events but I went to their Axe throwing event and so glad I did. I was welcomed with open arms and treated like family. Having been to multiple events now I can honestly say I feel like I am part of their growing family. Anyone who has moved to the area and wants to make new friends who become I highly I recommend this organization. They do tremendous work for our veteran community. Proud to be a veteran and proud to involved in their organization.
This is a great community for veterans. If you are looking for a group of friendly and caring peers that know and shared your same struggles, then look no further.
To say TLWH services are life altering is the understatement of the year. Even though most of the mentor challenges were things I had already adopted into daily practice, they still each taught me something or brought something to the surface I needed to work on. They help me give back to the men and women i owe my freedom to. I am forever grateful for TLWH!
With so many places to go to get veterans information and gather with like minds, all of which want to help or be helped it is a great place to be. They have been very good about sharing my messages on my podcast Veterans Corner Radio and I recommend them highly.
TLWH's content and services help nurture a strong and caring community. The team behind this nonprofit is really engaged and hardworking. It's reassuring that there are groups like this working with America's service men and women. Thank you!
Amazing organization with even more amazing individuals running it! We're lucky to have them here in SWFL.
Ron and the long walk home have helped me beyond words! Not only was I given the opportunity to help other Veterans and help them learn about themselves but I was able to learn more about myself in the process. Being able to help other Vets through what ever they are going through gives you a different perspective. Whether its one of those (okay, so I guess I dont have it that bad) or a situation that you can relate to, the long walk home is the perfect platform for these veterans to connect and have someone to confide in that understands their situation and what to, or not to, say.
Love this group. Always putting the active duty and Veterans from all US Armed forces to help, guide, fundraising for the homeless, educate and overall help out the community that is greatly in need. Keeping everyone involved and up to date with the latest news regarding VA news releases, I highly recommend The Long Walk Home and all their good works.
The Long Walk Home is great organization to help Veterans make their transition. Highly recommend!
When there's someone walking with you, the walk doesn't seem as long does it?
That's what "The Long Walk Home" is doing. Helping to make the walk from military service to successful reintegration into civilian life.
Much needed, very appreciated, Thank YOU
A place where there is kindness, compassion and peace.wisdom, magic and joy.healing, purpose and possibility.kinship and camaraderie.
The Long Walk Home has been nothing but outstanding. These fine folks have never given up on their devotion to service members from shore to shore. Finding the way home should never be difficult but sometimes we may lose our way and THAT is where Ron and the team step in to help us find our way. A massive thank you to all those who have served and continue to do so.
I’ve seen firsthand how much good TLWH does for veterans and their families. The events held are great for stress relief. The challenges to mentorship program is superior to help us change our perspective and heal ourselves. The financial aid has made it possible for vets to keep their homes and vehicles. Thank you TLWH!
The long walk home is a great non-profit helping veterans with programs and services for returning back to the old way of life
I met this organization years ago in homestead at a military appreciation event. I admire there resiliency and determination to help! They are great — sincerely, an ex wife of a wounded warrior
I met Ron Zaleski, Terri Miller, Craig Wallace, Cody Mcelhinny, and AnnMarie Kennedy at the recent "Battle of the Branches" ax-throwing event in North Port, FL. Wow. These guys and ladies are FOR REAL. I am impressed with their sincerity and passion to help our veterans, and I look forward to supporting this wonderful organization as they assist those who keep us free.
