The Merchant - Purveyor of Local Goods, St. Petersburg FL

They sell *some* local goods, just walk to the very back of the shop. It’s cute I guess but I expected better from the reviews. Toeing the line of granny’s overpriced Knick-knack shop. Besides, I’m a local & currently being gentrified out of my own hometown, so I can’t afford anything here, anyways. Thanks, Jennifer & Kevin from Pennsylvania!

Beautiful store. We went the other day and tried these amazing chocolates. They are flown in from Switzerland and only so many places carry them. Def recommend trying them.

This is such a fun little shop! I love getting my Christmas ornaments here and other gifts for throughout the year that are made by local artists! Definitely a must see when in St. Pete!

Great selection but even more impressive was the exceptional customer service we received from staff - a friendly greeting, follow-up offer of assistance, product knowledge, etc. She made our shopping experience a true delight, and we'll definitely be back.

The owner never shows up and she can't be contacted. She has no phone number to be reached. You can attempt to email but she will not reply. She's just into passive income. So whoever happens to be working there I hope they can help you. The owner doesn't want to pay for a proper manager. That cost too much money. The end result is a crew of teenagers getting paid minimum wage running a coffee shop. And they can basically do whatever they want because there's no oversight. So they lost my business.

Drove 45 minutes to shop "local" store was closed at 615 and not 9 pm per their sign and their website.

What a cluster, this place gives Yardsale vibes. Poor customer service. That is not art. This is doesn’t know art. More like glorified trailer trash. Ugh.
