I recently relocated from CA to The Nolen in Clearwater in September. First impressions of communication with my leasing agent David was very tedious as he would answer my questions with short response so it was difficult to understand what to expect when moving. I obviously wanted to know all the details since this is such a big move, but I soon would understand my leasing agent could care less about the prospective tenants moving in.
My move in experience was a literal nightmare. The leasing agent told me he was busy & couldn't help me when I simply told him I would be arriving to the nolen 15 minutes earlier than my scheduled move in! Like seriously a professional would be happy to assist & knock things out early considering its only a few minutes early. Then when I did get there, he was completely DISORGANIZED! He didn't have anything ready, was scrambling to find my papers, yet in the midst of all that he thought it was appropriate to pour himself a cup of coffee! Unbelievably unprofessional. His overall attitude was very dull & rude, once I signed everything & had a headache from having to deal with him. He DIDNT EVEN gave me a tour of the complex on my move in date & he didn't even SHOW ME WHERE MY APARTMENT WAS! I asked him if he could walk me to where my apartment was because I literally had never been there & how am I supposed to know which building I am in or where to find my apartment. He then proceeds to say "No, I cant help you I'm busy now". I looked at him bewildered! Isn't that your JOB!? How am I supposed to know where I live or where the mailbox, gym, pool are sir?

Thankfully, A very nice gentleman who was a tenant came in (Aubrey, if I'm remembering his name correctly) & said he could walk me to my room & help with my bag. If it wasn't for this nice man I would've NEVER found my apartment room because my particular apartment is around a corner that's somewhat hidden.

Now that i've lived here for a few months I see the rest of the staff is just as incompetent as the first person I encountered. They never answer the phone & are always rude & unprofessional when you do finally get ahold of them.

I think this apartment would be great because the building & complex is nice & maintenance is always helpful. Other than that they need to fire all the leasing staff ASAP! I already submitted a complaint to the property MGMT company & no response so now I am here writing a review hopefully they take into consideration now.

Staff is GREAT, but the property itself needs a ton of work. There was a decent size water damage in my apartment that was completely written off. Mold inspections are my job as I am an Industrial Hygienist that also is a court expert for mold so I do know what I’m talking about. As long as they ignore things like this, the place will smell and continue being unhealthy. I only lived there 1/4 of the time or I would have had to move before my lease was up.

Again staff is amazing, but even the gym and pool equipment is always broken as well as doors and lights in stairwells.

Good location, and again GREAT staff!

Moved in in june and this has been my favorite of any place i've lived before; great spacious, quiet and beautiful apartments with views! Also friendliest staff you'll ever meet, david is always a big help and checks in on you when he sees you around!

I was totally satisfied. The service was prompt & effectively completed as usual. The service personnel are always efficient, effective & friendly, I could not ask for more!

Matt the technician came and repaired the toilet and faucet in a timely and precise manner. He was very pleasant and manageable while he worked. We are very pleased with the results.

I'm still trying to figure out how this place can say it's "luxury living"
Grills don't work, firepit doesn't work. The elevator is CONSTANTLY broken in the building I live in & not to mention the door is always unlocked even though its supposed to be locked & you have to have a code to get in. Security gates also haven't worked since I've lived here. They've made zero attempts to fix it. This place is not worth thousands of $$$ a month.
However, I will not say one bad thing about the maintenance guys. They have always been on top of things when I need something done and they're super friendly.

David was the person we spoke to about the complex. He was outstanding. Every question we asked was answered without hesitation. Make sure if you visit The Nolen ask for David.

Mathew always goes above and beyond! Very kind and professional! I’ve had Mathew come and fix all kinds of issues in our apartment and even asked him for help jump starting our car after our battery died. We were super thankful for his help. Your team is lucky to have him! Thank you Mathew!

I had water damage about 2 months ago in building A, nobody wants to do anything about it. When I went into the office and asked about it, they have no clue. All they say is the contractor will come and take a look but it's been 2 months. Terrible communication and service. We need to pay the rent on time but they don't do anything on time.

I would like to send a special thank you to Jessi, David, Barbera (the front office staff) and all of the wonderful maintenance staff that work here at the Nolen.
Everyone has made my experience here a pleasant one.
We are located in downtown Clearwater, exactly 2.0 miles from Pier 60 in Clearwater Beach.
The units are beautiful and modern.
Each complimented with Italian Cabinetry, granite countertops, an island and washer/dryer.
The service requests are always answered with exceptional haste.
I have never waited more than a day to get something fixed.
All amenities here are pretty awesome too.
They have a spacious gym, a pool with working grills to cook up some BBQ and a fire pit for those few cold Florida nights.
Overall, this is a great area to be in. It’s close enough to the beach to enjoy these summer days and far enough to lay low too.

I was very impressed with this apartment complex! I have been exploring living options for 2 months and The Nolen had the amenities, location, and budget I was looking for. I would like to thank David for being so welcoming, showing me around, and answering all my questions! Lucky to call this place home.

Work order was put in and fixed within one day. Needed sink leak fixed and the job was complete when I arrived home from work and my kitchen was tidy!

From start to finish my experience at The Nolen was amazing. I was greeted by David as soon as I walked in and he made me feel very welcomed right away. The process was very smooth and David was very patient while answering any questions or concerns I had. I was given a tour of the property and really felt like this was the place I wanted to be. Again, David made the application process easy by answering questions and assisting me along the way. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking for an apartment complex that makes you feel safe and welcome.

I just wanted to say that this place totally rocks! If you are looking for a new place to live and you want to feel welcomed and genuinely cared for as a resident, these guys are going to take awesome care of you. I moved in about a year and a half ago and from the very beginning Jessie, who is now the property manager, was so sweet and helpful and made my move so easy all the way through! I didn't get a chance to see this property or even any of Clearwater before moving but talking to Jessi and asking her about a hundred questions, she calmed my worries and literally took the stress right out of moving. Getting in town and moving in was so easy and I really felt like the office and maintenance team took extra care to stop and say hello and they still greet me every time they see me. There are different people here now but all of them are so amazing and warm. Maintenance is right on top of things when I ask, no matter what it is they are very attentive and take care of any issues I've encountered. The buildings have been a little dirty lately but I only recently found out that they don't even have a housekeeping person right now or for the last 2 months so it is everyone in the office helping out trying to keep up with keeping things clean and looking nice. I have seen Jessie vacuuming my hallway and actually down on the floor of the elevator scrubbing it! On a Saturday evening! What a rockstar, seriously, and a sweetie too! The newer maintenance guy, Raymond, is awesome too and is always smiling when you see him, no matter what he's doing at the time. He smiles when he picks up dog poo bags, and he smiles when he is pushing his cart around, just a super nice man! I love living here and I am already planning to renew the lease in a couple of months. You cannot beat this location, and even though there are other properties that offer some great things, this place has the people, and that really makes a difference to me. If you are looking for a place, you need to check out the Nolen for sure.

We moved to The Nolen over six months ago, and we love it here. It has everything we need, and more.

The location is the biggest advantage. We ride our bikes regularly, and we are within 2 blocks from the Pinellas Trail. We are also just a 15-minute bike ride from pier 60 (or 5-minute drive, if you prefer). Easy walk to downtown Clearwater and the future Imagine Clearwater project, which is scheduled to be ready for next summer.

We have two dogs, so having a dog park onsite and Prospect Lake next door is a huge plus for us. The onsite gym is perfect for an apartment complex and while it doesn't have the bells and whistles of a paid gym, it is more than enough for us. The pool is very nice too. Internet service is included, and so is the trash collection.

I read a few previous posts about maintenance issues. For those who were in a coma over the last two years, here is a newsflash. There is a pandemic that affects the supply chain, so it is pretty hard to get parts. When we had issues, they were resolved as soon as the parts were available. The team working here is very dedicated, and when we talk to them, we can feel their pain for not being able to resolve issues sooner. Don't blame the people who work day in and day out on issues that are out of their control.
