The Original Pancake House, Fort Lauderdale FL

It is fresezing in this restaurant! My food was stone cold half way through eating my breakfast! Rediculas. Service is not their strong suit. The food and concept can be good if you are there on the right day.

I went yesterday and Carina attended me, the service was very good and the food was very delicious, especially the pancakes and the bacon.

Place is a total joke cost me $28 for an omelette a cup of coffee and hash browns what a joke you can go have a nice dinner for that who do they think they are there was two people in there obviously everybody else feels the same way unbelievable people have lost their minds

Other waiter was walking around with coffee for refills. I had to ask him 3 times before he finally told our waitress to serve us coffee. I know times are tough but the manager should be walking around with refills so the waitresses can do thier job.

Being a restaurant chain you spect the same quality on food. We come from California and i have to say that is not the same! Pancakes are bad!
I ordered "huevos rancheros " (in California you don't find this in this restaurant) the waiter ask me what kind of cheese i want and tell her to put cheddar and swizz. The plate was terrible! The cheese was like liquid or water. Not close to traditional mexican dish. And when the check arrived they charge me extra for the cheese!
As a restaurant owner and a chef you don't change a traditional dish and do whatever you want. If you want to do something different call the dish different.
So disappointed

Service wasn't the best they do have fresh orange juice maker no refill and the portion are very generous I ordered a veggies omelet with Swiss cheese and for dessert French crepe

Hello I am a regular at this Pancake House on Federal and I have the experience I'm do racial profiling from said waitress Tammy I have observed her on more than one occasion of racially profiling black I am a black lady who often visits your store and often times I've seen her avoid ceiling Black customers I hope that this situation stop or someone pays attention to This Server because she's not what I'm sure your company represents thank you

Went here with some friends and my dad and had Christa has our waitress. She was fantastic very helpful and knowledgeable. Food was delicious. Will go to again.

My husband and I enjoy eating at the Original Pancake House on Federal Hey in Ft Lauderdale often. The food is Great! The service is great especially from Carlos. He is very attentive to our needs, makes us laugh and treats us as if we are special! We also love servers Christa, Caroline and Jeff, who also makes us feel welcome. We only wish you would incorporate salad on your menu.

This was what I've been wanting for.
More importantly our server Christa was very much "the cat's meow"

We love The Original Pancake House back home in MN. When we saw there was one just down the street from us on vacation we were SO excited! NOTHING was the same! Food was cold, items burned, tasted funny.we will NOT be returning!

Not bad for our first time, the server was friendly. The biscuits and gravy was good but I feel the breakfast burrito had way too many peppers and onions inside. The potatoes were dry and old but would've been better if the potatoes were inside the burrito with less peppers and onions.

Had the greek omelet and pancakes, food was delicious and our server Christa was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good breakfast at a great price.

Zero stars! The food was disgusting. This place should be closed down for sanitary reasons. I ordered the French toast and it tasted like old, nasty bread. My friend ordered Chicken and Waffles and the chicken looked like the Tyson bagged chicken (attached the picture). It was not even fried chicken! Don’t eat here! The server was nice but the food was horrible. Also, expensive! I paid $17 for an old piece of bread.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! My family and I had breakfast here on our visit and it was delicious. I ordered the Strawberry French Toast. My son ordered the Apple Pancake (takes 30 minutes to make) but it was SO worth the wait. Eggs were cooked exactly like I like them. We were totally satisfied. The service was good.

One of the worst places ever, dirty and disgusting, table qas sticky, and bathroom was horrible! The service is terrible and very slow. They took 1 hour to get our order (1 omelet and 2 scrambled eggs with a plate of pancake), then once they got it, they gave it to us missing the omelet with the white toast We had to wait another 15 minutes cz they forgot the order. No apologies to us or anything.
Never going back there again, NEVER!
