The Original Pancake House, Coral Springs FL

Highly recommend this place! I’ve been coming here for years with my family. The food is always amazing, my personal favorite is the avocado toast. The staff is so welcoming and so friendly. The manager Emily is so attentive and professional. She is always making sure the food is correct and delicious. Lena is such an amazing server! She truly is so sweet. Such a great place.

The service was fantastic and the food was as always…awesome!

Came here with my family for breakfast and was overall very satisfied. We were greeted and looked after by our server, Josh, who took good care of us and was pleased by his service. We ordered the bacon and eggs with pancakes and home fries and everything came out hot and tasting great. The bacon was cooked nice and crispy which I loved. The pancakes were delicious as well. The restaurant itself has an old school diner vibe which I liked. Prices were what I would have expected so no issues there.

I am not one to write reviews, as i just either like it or i don't.
I just had too on this visit.
New years day walk in to have breakfast.took a bit to finally get our service person.
I order scramble with dice ham. I was ask if i would like potatoes or hash browns, well hash brown i said.then the service person told me the hash brown are a $1.50 more so i said your kidding me the potatoes are free and the hash browns are more money? I am a bit sarcastic, so i said is it more labor to shred the potatoes then it is to just cut them up? Do you pay your kitchen help more money to shred the potatoes? The place is very expensive to start with. Wow
I know he is just the help and i should back off which i did.
I normally go to the Orange tree in Tamarac but they where close.that place is cheap and very good. Highly recommend it
I guess i was a bit shock that the hash browns are extra. I just want to get this story out there do to the fact it was ridiculous.
Yes i did pay the extra, cuz that is what i wanted.

We should have left when it took about 8 minutes to even be seated. No one acknowledged us during this entire time. Just as we wetter about to give upmand walk out a waitress walked over and said "2? " No smile or welcome.

I made a joke about wondering rather we were supposed to seat ourselves. Still nothing. Just turned and walked away expecting us to follow.

Oir waiter was nicer. But didn't acknowledge when i said that the pancakes weren't really even warm. My toast was 5 minutes behind my eggs as they got cold. It was not at all crispy, no butter on it. Floppy, chewy, and tough. How do you even do that? The only way i know is to microwave it. Ruined the eggs

While waiting on the toast i tried my husband's pancakes. They were super dense and also chewy.

The Sausage, bacon, and hashbrowns were really good. Hence the 2 stars. But we came for and paid for breakfast not meat and potatoes.

Told the waiter about the food issues when ge finally came back by. He didn't seem to care. Later after we got the bill i asked if he had told his manager that we were not happy. He said no and asked if i wanted him to. Yes! He said that he would. But no one came out. And my husband paid the bill so we could leave. By the time we left i had typed this. And changed my 2 stars to 1. Because the meat wasn't enough to make me overlook the horrible service, half he food being tough, and the busy floors that gave both of us a headache.

Oh and the price for breakfast!

As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the manager, Isaac. Drinks ordered and delivered. The food ordered was delicious. Isaac is an excellent manager. He gave aid to all his staff and stayed aware of all the customers' needs.

Show up 30 min after opening, 2 other tables are seated. Order Dutch babies with our drinks due to cook time. 15ish minutes later we order more food because we are foodies and don't get to this restaurant often. 45 min after we order drinks we get the food that was ordered after the drinks, TWENTY MINUTES LATER we received the Dutch babies. Upon receiving Dutch babies I asked for the normal accommodations for a Dutch babies. The wife cuts hers and it's literally wet to an under cooked stature. Waiting for the waitress to come back with the basic request, 15 minutes later we get up and walk to the door to pay. We reached a point where the appitite was lost, and sending the food back would have only made it another 2 hour process. We're honestly surprised the waitress noticed we got up. But she was kind of enough to ask if we wanted a box. I'm honestly not sure what is more appalling from this experience, the service, the manger walking past time and time again, the 10+ employees doing tasks and ignoring the floor and leaving one waitress to handle 10+ tables by the time we left, maybe it was the one making coffee with her earbuds in her ears blasting drake out her phone? Or was it the one sitting next to our table having coffee with a couple eating breakfast? Either way, this has been hands down the worst experience I have had at any of this companies establishments. Drive to the South Broward locations, or do what I plan on the next visit, drive to Boca.

We have eaten here many many times. The service is always good the servers are friendly and the food is good.

I waited 30 minutes to get my food after I ordered and I was the only person in my party. Not to mention that they were only 8 other ppl there. So the service could be way better. Not to mention that my drink was empty for over 10 minutes

I'll tell you the quality of the food is why we keep going back, however today I spent over 90.00 to get about 30 worth of food! Tiny waffles considering the exorbitant price they charged for it and an incomplete order. Shame on your staff and management for allowing the order to go out this way. We barely had enough food for 4 people let alone the 6 the order was supposed to feed. We would have gotten twice what we were given had we ordered in store. Shameful.

I want to thanks Carlos with great attitude, customer service, and such a positive energy in him. He make sure I was good and enjoying my food. His boss should be blessed for having him to work for them
