The spa hotel needs to be spotlessly clean. Our room was not cleaned for four days. The cleaners were hiding, and we could not ask them to clean them up. Hooks on the door asking for cleaning, no (. Didn't replenish morning coffee, full trash bins, no clean towels. Not friendly hostel for breakfast. Something wrong with the staff. Disappointed. Beautiful place and ocean couldn't fix my vacation (.

Don't let anyone in this hotel touch your credit card. My mom travelled in August and was charged $1225 for a room she had already paid for. Once she was back home she talked via email to an employee named Moises Hurtado who promised to issue a refund. She was then charged those $1225 again and this person is not replying his emails anymore. That's $2500 no one's accounting for.

Everything a Florida resort should be! Fantastic service, bar tenders are the best in town. Caring, attentive staff. Brenton is a fabulous massage therapist in the clean, fancy spa. Rooms are wonderful. Give this one a try

Hotel 5/5! Staff service 4/5! Valet service 3-l/5!

Hotel was beautiful, great amenities! Beautiful view! We could’ve stayed at the hotel the entire stay and would’ve still had a great trip! Very clean rooms. Beautiful ocean view!
Welcoming staff was very kind, others weren’t so eager to have to speak to you. Was even given attitude while purchasing from the little mini shop in the lobby and I still can’t figure out why. I’m always very nice to everyone.
Valet parking is sketch. I can’t rate them a zero because we had some really good service as far as retrieving the car in a very timely manner, and polite employees for the most part. Louis/Luis, an older gentleman, decided after two days of our stay, he was tired of my keychain attached to my fob. Instead of asking us to remove it, which I believe should’ve been done the very first time our key was handed to anyone, he took it off and threw it into someone else’s car. (I know that it was thrown/handled roughly because when I finally received it back by mail, pieces were missing and broken). When handing us our key, my fiancé asked where the rest was and he pointed at the inside of our car twice, I tried asking exactly where and he ignored me. We drove off as I looked for it all over our vehicle. We get back and the keychain is still missing (it’s not just a $2 keychain. I had about $50 of things attached (again I’ve never paid for valet before so i would not have been aware of the keychain being bothersome unless they would’ve told me) the man who “lost it” and lied about it started to get very hostile and was overheard saying to his coworkers that it isn’t his fault- it’s ours, and it’s 100% not his responsibility. Another worker was heard saying that if it’s just a keychain then we should just go replace it:) I’ve never witnessed such bad customer service in my life. Especially the fact that we were tipping these men daily to be told something so disgusting. Supposedly Louis/Luis went to go look for them, only for my fiancé to wait downstairs for another hour; he decided to just come to the room as it was already 12am. Morning comes and it’s new staff. Blaise is awesome! He did everything he could to help find our key. He contacted his manager for us, but I didn’t catch any vibe that he was the least bit concerned. I guess because it was “just a keychain” they had every right to throw it away. He pretended to care a little but then threw in my face that “like the driver said it was very loose and he probably dropped it”. I pointed out that it was indeed not loose (I have a picture of it) and the driver admitted to taking it off. The manager didn’t want to acknowledge anything I said regarding the disrespect of his employee and just took my number down.

Im not a Karen, I usually let things go for the most part. But to be undermined and felt as its not a big deal that a worker lost something of mine (whether it’s costs $2 or $100) is like a slap in the face. It’s the principle. Again, there should be a policy in place. Make one for future guests! But for now, REMOVE EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE FOB SO THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO YOU. The manager even admitted to this happening often and they “usually appear within a few days”. If it’s a pattern, why hasn’t anyone taken measures to prevent it? The palms isn’t a $60 motel. It’s expensive. Not to mention the $40 a night parking fee you have no choice but to pay. I planned on coming back next year before having surgery with Dr Miami, but am now searching other hotels as the valet gives me anxiety, and after being treated that way, I don’t care for some of the staff.

I had an excellent experience with the palms hotel.

Pros:

The check in process was easy and quick, front desk staff were all hospitable and willing to help.

The room was nice, good size, very clean, everything was there, and if you need something thats not there, they'll happily provide it.

The housekeeping service was better than most 4 and 5 star hotels i've been to.
Especially the housekeeping lady Enite who was very nice and did a spectacular job with my room everytime a came back throughout my 3 night stay.

The location is within close proximity to the beach with a designated area for the hotel equipped with beach chairs and umbrellas and staffed with kind employees who are happy to help set up a spot for you.

The pool was nice and clean, not too noisy.

The hotel facilities / decor were great, the outside pool is spacious and has alot of trees which look great.

There is a small gym which is just enough to put it a workout.

Cons:
The noise from adjacent rooms was disturbing, you can hear the most quiet conversations, but fortunately the people next to me were not loud, can't imagine what would happen if they were!
They could put it more work with sound insulation.

Overall:
This is a quiet hotel which is suitable for those who are looking for something chill with good services and good ocean view.

Unlike other hotels on ocean drive which have cafes and clubs in their lobby that get extremely noisy from evening til morning, this was a very quiet hotel.

When i checked out i was offered a beach access and a place to store my bags to enjoy all of the hotel facilities until i left, which was very nice of them given that they didn't have to do it.

I recommend booking through their website, you might get a better deal than what you'll get on other apps.

I would definitely be back.

Amenities not accomodating.pool & restaurant shut down @ 10pm. Vacationers should be able to relax at ngt and have a ngt. Cap

Beautiful landscape! Amazing views! Fall in love with the pool! Very clean! Good service! Right on the beach! Loved the parakeets! Definitely paradise! Good for a quick get away! Friendly staff! Good quality service! Great food!

I always read reviews before scheduling a hotel, I read very good reviews about this hotel and they were right! This hotel is amazing staff is so friendly and kind the room was very clean and comfortable the beach was amazing food is great.
I enjoyed my staying so much I had to give a good review.
This is the hotel u should go to for this price!

Idyllic and beautifully set with a view of South Beach. Wake up and take a jog on the boardwalk or do some yoga in the tiki hut. Food was lovely and service was exquisite.

Best experience: The Aveda Spa - truly professional staff, serene and relaxing ambience and the Aveda tea is a pire delight!

CON: Construction work on road access to hotel which should hopefully finish soon but once you got into the hotel, you could forget the exterior world.

Cool place. Was there on Saturday and Sunday for my nephew's wedding. The staff is super friendly and I loved the fact that on the staff's ID tag they also have their nationality

DO NOT STAY HERE. THEY STEAL AND ARE EXTREMELY SHADY. We checked in this evening and since then it has been a complete nightmare. This company steals from you. We booked and paid for this hotel in advance with Trivago. When we arrived at check in, the front desk took our credit card and plugged it into the machine. My husband said to him “why are you doing that? We already paid” and then the worker said “oh you already paid? ” He acted so oblivious. Then had us remove our card. We later found out HE CHARGED US $500. We went down to the front desk again after finding this out and they told us it was a resort fee. They never once disclosed this to us. They took our credit card and ran it without ANY explanation or even asking. That is stealing. They don’t tell you where anything is or help give you direction on how to get to your room. It took us 40 mins just to figure out how to get to our room and use the elevator. This place is extremely expensive with HORRIBLE service. I regret booking here and now we are stuck this week with a bill over $2,000. I will be taking further action with this horrible hotel.
