Picking a wedding photographer is one of the most difficult decisions in planning your wedding. After all, you’re left with the memories through pictures. All that stress vanished the minute I hung up with Jessica after our first conversation. We had planned a time for me to call her and I thought my 30-minute lunch break would be perfect. Funny thing was we were on the phone for over an hour! Our conversation was so smooth I felt as though we were old friends just catching up. I didn’t even wait to consult with my husband about booking her because I knew she was the one.
One thing that stood out was when she told me engagement sessions were part of her packages because it helped her get to know us and our best angles before our big day. MIC DROP. We thought that based on our engagement photos that nothing could be better.until we saw our wedding gallery. Every single photo was a work of art that left us speechless at how perfect not only the picture was but how it reflected the feeling of the moment. To give her 5 stars does not do justice to the amazing service and beauty of each capture that she provides. All of our guests, and those that have seen our pictures, have agreed, we truly had the best photographer! She was everything we wanted and more! We are forever grateful to have found Jessica and we can’t wait for her to capture our future big moments. 10/10 recommend! I had a semi destination wedding in Fort Lauderdale (Destination for my friends and family, not the grooms). I was really nervous about finding a photographer that I would love since I couldn't go based on family and friends recommendations. I planned my wedding from NE and found The Picture Cottage on wedding wire/the knot. I sent her a message and Jessica was so quick to respond, friendly, and was willing to work with my budget and give me everything I needed. She really made me feel at ease. I was not only excited to work with her, but she was excited to work with me! She checked in on me throughout the wedding planning process and made sure we were on the same page. When wedding day came she was organized, on time, and it seemed like she already had a template of how everything needed to go which was VERY helpful since I didn't have a wedding planner. Our wedding was outside and it got REALLY windy. I was sure the pictures were going to turn out bad due to the weather, but boy was I wrong. WE LOVE OUR PICTURES! They are perfect. Everything we could of dreamed of and more. I am so happy I found her and decided to go with the The Picture Cottage.

Working with Jessica from the moment we took our engagement photos to the day we said “I Do” has been such an enjoyable experience. Jessica wasn’t just our photographer, but quickly became a good friend. My husband and I are very shy, however, Jessica made us feel so comfortable. She is so down to earth and funny that you can’t help but fall in love with her. We chose Jessica for our special day not only for her amazing talent as a photographer but because of her wonderful personality. You can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in her work. Another thing I love about Jessica is how quickly she responds to our messages. All of our questions were answered right away.
Our wedding day went so smooth. Jessica and her team arrived on time and quickly got the show on the road. Having someone you connect with and trust is so important on your special day. It’s worth every penny! I will also advise that you request a second photographer. It saves time and every moment counts. You will see just how fast time goes by. While I was taking my “getting ready” photos with Jessica my fiancé was in another room taking his with the second photographer. Jessica and her team got every shot I could hope for. We can’t thank Jessica and her team enough for all the hard work they put in. My husband and I are so in love with our pictures! We can’t stop looking at them! Choose Jessica for your special day. There are absolutely no words to describe how AMAZINGGGG our wedding photos came out and how awesome our experience with Jessica of The Picture Cottage was! When my husband and I were on the hunt for a photographer for our wedding, we knew we wanted to find someone who could capture moments and not just posed photos. And boy did we find that in Jessica!

The second that my husband and I sat down to look through our wedding photos, all of the emotions, tears, love and laughter that we felt on that extremely special day came rushing back. She was able to capture the most precious hours of our lives in a sea of stunning photos. I still can’t even choose which one is my favorite!

We chose Jessica for our newborn pictures after months of deliberation. We always came back to her work. So happy we worked together, she is totally worth it. Our pictures are freaking stunning! We can finally put up some pictures of us in our home with our newest littlest love!?

Where do I start? From the moment my husband and I met Jessica it felt like we had known her for years. She is a super real and genuine person. She is super professional and you can tell she really loves what she does. She comes with ideas and she makes you feel super comfortable in front of the camera. Jessica is not only our photographer she’s become a forever friend of ours. We will forever use her for any future picture needs. On our wedding day she brought a second photographer and an assistant with her. I am so incredibly thankful that we chose this package of hers because they all were so helpful the day of. If we wouldn’t have chosen the second photographer package we would’ve missed so many moments the day of my wedding. They not only helped with taking pictures but since we were running late and pressed for time they stepped in and helped with anything we needed. She is worth every penny and I would say to really spend the money when it comes to media at your wedding. It’s the most important vendor you need in my opinion because after that day all you have left are pictures. Find the vendor you love and go with them no matter the cost.

Jess is absolutely amazing! She shot our wedding in Miami. Jess is so friendly and easy to work with.she puts in the effort to get to know you and make you feel comfortable on your big day! Besides being great to work with, Jess is extremely talented - all of our photos turned out so beautiful! She knows what she’s doing - from delicate detail shots to the fun photos on the dance floor. On top of it all, her and her team are super professional and efficient — they catch all the important moments and got us our pictures without any delay. You cannot go wrong with hiring Jess and her team for any event or photo shoot!

Where to begin? ! Jess photographed our engagement pictures and our wedding! She was one of the first vendors we picked for our wedding and we are so glad she was! Jess was not only there “to take our pictures”, it was more! She cared for our needs and what we wanted in a photographer. One of the best things, is that she went beyond taking our pictures. We absolutely love Jessica and her talent! We recently did a Christmas Mini Session. Everything went smooth during the session! She even allowed us to bring our doggie to join our family pictures! She had gifts for my kids, which was a huge WIN! I just received my pictures and W-O-W! Every picture is just beautiful and I cannot wait to print and frame them in my house! There is no one out there quite like Jessica. We met her in Miami for a fun vacation couples photo shoot.and now she's our wedding photographer in Michigan! I couldn't imagine planning my wedding without her!

I hired a photographer once on a "budget" and the images I got were subpar and the experience was extremely awkward. I finally invested in Jessica from The Picture Cottage. I will never use another photographer again! We've done our sons new born pictures and quite a few lifestyle shots and even used her for my business. You get what you pay for and I'd pay double for the amazing memories she's captured.

Jess is so friendly and relatable not only through her website, but in person as well. She knows how to make you feel comfortable so you can be yourself during the session. She truly strives to capture who you are in every shot. All of this plus her creativity and hard work shine through the finished product. She is amazing!
