The Pig Bar-B-Q, Jacksonville FL

Burnt bun, leftover French fries, room temperature banana pudding. Sure can't call this a happy meal. Requested Xtra hot pig sauce and got none.you just lost my money. Will not be back, and will not recommend your business.

Good food good service very nice atmosphere. The staff was very courteous gave us exactly what we wanted. When in that neck of the woods we will definitely visit again

HALF cooked beans, odd looking mac 'N cheese, dry ham, and old, ripped, and torn booth seats. This place should've didore than upgrade the sign outside.some years back. They really need to upgrade their food and dining etiquette.

Visited from AZ. I got a pork and beef sandwich with mac n cheese and greens. It was so good. The BBQ sauces were good as well. Portions were worth it. Staff was super friendly.

Great barbecue with all the trimmings! Daily specials and great service. Dana always takes excellent care of me! The chef salad with chicken is my favorite.

Very bad survives the pork tasted like it was sitting in water all day the turkey tasted like it cam out of a can the Servers did not once ask us for a drink refill and 45 mis It's too late on food while the staff was lollie gagging around doing nothing appetizer did not come out before the meal it came out with the meal I would not waste my money or time again going to the restaurant and neither should you

The pulled pork on garlic toast is what I usually always get. I enjoy a draft beer from time to time while I'm waiting on my food. The staff are always very friendly and the entire place is always very clean as well.

The prices are good and the staff is always friendly. But the ribs are always tough. This isn’t the worst barbecue but there are so many other places that know how to slow cook ribs.

I always passed by here whenever I would take lem turner but never stopped by and Saturday me and my mom were just cruising around and wanted BBQ and let me tell you great food and even better people

I saw the sign outside that says open since 56 and thought to myself this place has to have good barbecue. Well i was wrong. I ordered ribs with two sides the ribs tasted like they was cooked in an oven they had almost no spice or sauce on me at all they were very bland. Waitress was prompt with everything and very nice but that didnt make up for the disappointment of ribs. The place is kindve dirty as well.it looks like it use to be a good barbecue restaurant back in the day.ive eaten barbecue from texas, Memphis, Kansas city, and north carolina and cook great tasting barbecue for myself. I don't always give 2 star reviews but when I do its because I was very disappointed.

There is NO OTHER BBQ place that will ever get my money! This is the ONLY BBQ place I will ever eat around here. The prices are good, the people are good and the food is ON POINT! Consistency is #1 at this place. My mouth is now watering and I know what im eating for dinner tomorrow night!

My food was not ready when I arrived and I was later than said time to be there. However the lady who took my order over the phone was so courteous and friendly I didn't mind waiting a little bit. We are human and make mistakes. She also let the cook know he lost a ticket and to be cautious seems he may of been new but idk. Anyhow I live on the westside buy don't like the pig over that way. The one on lem Turner is the best to me. Thank you for great service and hospitality

I love the pig unfortunately went there today got a go order and it was wrong did'. Nt get my pork sandwich and i got 2 orders of fries that i did not order live to far away so i did not go back.

The service was spot on. You could tell this a neighborhood place the waitress knew everyone who came in by name. Food was great portions huge and the price was great. So recommend the BBQ baked potato plate. I have leftovers for lunch. Meat fell off the bone it was just and had a nice smoke char and flavor. A must stop for anyone who likes BBQ

Good breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not just BBQ. They have seafood and other dishes. Really anything you want to eat. You have to try the sweet tea.

Joy is a joy along with the rest of this power house staff. That energy is everything, and the food is phenomenal! I mostly eat here for breakfast under the name Alexis, but lunch and dinner is awesome too.

Delicious the ribs were tender and juicy the smoked sausage was cooked to absolute perfection baked beans and mac and cheese melt in your mouth seasoned very well, the two lovely waitress’ were quick on their feet! I will be returning very soon

Love this place.no matter which location you visit you’re going to eat well and be satisfied and want more. The staff, while extremely busy, is attentive and courteous and ya just can’t go wrong dining here. ️️ I am a recent amputee and it’s difficult for me to get my wheelchair in and out of the car. I called ahead and asked if they would be willing to bring my order out to me and they were more than willing. Thanks y’all!

Small quaint bbq place. A little rough. The ribs were good but not great, slightly tough. The muster sauce needs a lot of work but the sweet bbq sauce was ok. Friendly, folks, good prices. Needs some work.

Used to be a good place to eat 3 different waitresses and still got my whole order wrong I didn't check it because I shouldn't have to just won't be back again
