The Preserve at Lakeland Hills Apartments

We moved here in October of 2022, Anna helped us get into our apartment and went above and beyond by making sure we got what we wanted in a timely manner.highly recommend the preserve as a place to call home!

Anna Peacock was incredibly helpful in my move to The Preserve at Lakeland Hills Apartments. Her customer service and knowledge is outstanding. If there is anything Anna is not sure of she will find out the answer and get back to you. When moving from one to state to another it is very much needed to work with people who care about what they are doing and come through with results. That is Anna Peacock! As a current resident I still go to Anna for anything I need. She still is gracious, knowledgeable and cares that you get the service, help and answers you need. If you are thinking about moving here go to Anna! You will be happy you did!

Ive been living at the Preserve since Sept 2022 and I have to say, it's a very nice place to stay. I particularly love that Anna, one of the leasing agents, treats me like family every time I have an issue or come in just to say hi. Very refreshing living somewhere that the management actually remembers you and cares! Thanks Anna! Your the best, and the Preserve is great because of you!

Anna went above and beyond in getting me into the apartment I wanted. Quick and efficiently. She was very respectful and understanding of the questions I asked. She answered all my questions with accurate answers. She gave me a welcomed greeting and made me feel at home. Thank you Anna and The Preserve at Lakeland Hills.

Moved here in November, 2022 (Thanks Hurricane Ian.). I have had very little to complain about since move in. There were a few issues that needed to be resolved after a second inspection once I moved in, but it's nice having a place where maintenance requests are fulfilled quickly and efficiently. Low cost per month with pets was a big plus as well. I have not heard any noise from neighboring apartments/tenants. Valet trash pickup is hit or miss at times, but is a nice feature. Only downside is lack of respect other tenants show by not picking up after dogs AND with revving engines/speeding through the parking lot areas.

My experience going to the preserve was a very good experience. From walking into the door and just fill in accepted was a great feeling. The staff was very knowledgeable very respectful, very professional answered all the questions that we had. It was a very pleased first impression.

Took a tour of the place. Viewed a unit (not the unit I was initially planning to move in) and it looked perfect. Went ahead with the application for a unit for around $1200 and paid the application fees and all. Everything was complete on my end for the application and I checked the portal frequently for updates to
see if everything was running smoothly. All of a sudden there was an alert on the portal that said the rent went up after we had signed. It was now about $1700. I was upset bc of course that’s not what I paid, signed, or agreed to on the lease and they didn’t even tell me directly so I had to call them to ask about the change. It was almost impossible to get ahold of someone on the phone all day during their normal hours of operation. Finally got ahold of someone and they said the price increased due to last minute renovations that they just learned about the day of. They found me a “different unit” for the price of $1400-500 instead which is still more than I agreed. I needed a place to stay so I figured I could give it a chance. Then we (me and my roommate) went in person since we were approved and everything was going well. The girl said that “On my screen it says one of you weren’t approved” but she didn’t turn her screen or provide anything that stated so. The system, and the portal, and an email said we were approved and good to go so I personally feel they only want a specific genere of people to stay there. We were approved, had very good credit, and were able to cover the expenses so not sure what the issue would be unless there was a problem with our race (black). Also upon heading there the first time for our tour there was a pair of 2 black women who were being told the same thing by another employee “The rent went up from the original agreement due to…Do you still want to move forward with the application? ” It seems like they try to reel you in with a appetizing rent price and once you already apply and pay the fees (about $400) they try and make an excuse and say that the rent went up to see if you’re still willing to apply to get more money. After the whole ordeal they still have the lower rent prices advertised. Beware of the scam.

FYI: The application fees are non-refundable. We tried to say they should refund me for a courtesy since we were ready to move in and clearly this is clearly on them. I can’t remember since this was a while back but I believe they refunded half (the amount to hold the apartment).

Anna & Ashley is amazing. I spoke with Anna over the phone she assured me I can view the property at a certain time when I arrived Ashley was there to show me the property which was clean and beautiful. The updated units are niiiiccee can't wait to move in.

Brenda and Ashley were great! The communication regarding my application was perfect even though I was annoying at times; They helped me along the way. I can’t wait to move in. I also enjoyed the whole process especially the self guided tour sometimes I think it’s weird when the leasing agent is just standing there and I’m just walking around so I’m glad they had that option

Ashley is great and very professional. The apartments are well maintained and has a lot of features that Im sure I will enjoy.

Ashley was THE best. The application process was super fast and easy. Ashely was so helpful and so sweet. The community is beautiful and well kept. The apartment was in great condition and beautiful. Dwight from maintenance quickly came to put in a missing smoke alarm and was so courteous and fast working. The community is located near everthing. I am so grateful I found this gem!

Visited while apartment hunting. Very good service, set up an appointment right away and, 2 weeks later, moved in. The process was easy. The area is great and The apartment I got is great for the amount being paid. Very happy with everything so far.

10/10! The ladies in the office are phenomenal, I stopped by to inquire about a rental and they were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and, kind!
Needless to say I look forward to moving in very soon!
