The Sacred Pepper, Tampa FL

First time eating at Sacred Pepper and I must say it was impressive, the place is absolutely beautiful, I was looking for a romantic setting and this place was perfect! Service was fast and waiters are professional, the best part was dessert the larva cake was Deeeelicious! Thank you Sacred Pepper for making our evening spectacular.

Advertises reservations for large parties and unable to accommodate. Rep did not attempt to accommodate besides to just say they are booked. Would not recommend.

Headed about this place on the Mike Calta show but it's a far drive away

We decided to finally make the drive and had some friends meet us there.

The place looks amazing inside. Love the look and feel.

I was a little weary heading they had live music there. Boy was I surprised. The live music was really really good. Waited at the bar having a few drinks watching this great musician play.

We ordered 4 appetizers. Meatballs, Calimari, Oysters Rockefeller, lobster stuffed shrimp.

All of them were amazing. The Calimari was the best I've ever had. The other 3 in my party all agreed.

Meals came out. I ordered the petite steak and my Fiance ordered the rib eye. So savoury, unique flavors.

The cream corn. By far the best corn we have ever had that we shared with everyone at the table.

I haven't been impressed like I was tonight in years and the good company I had with me agreed. Definitely coming back soon. And can't wait

Went to celebrate a birthday, the service was excellent and the food was even better! The Sunday night twofer meals are a Great deal also!

I visited on a Thursday evening with a friend. We had reservations and were seated immediately despite being a little late. This restaurant has a very lovely atmosphere. The staff is also incredibly friendly. The live music selection is incredibly diverse. I ordered the sacred meatballs which were heavenly. They literally melt in your mouth. I also ordered the short rib cavatelli. The pasta was cooked to perfection and sauce was perfectly seasoned. I also ordered a smoked old fashioned which was nice and strong! For dessert I tried the vanilla bean crème brûlée which was out of this world. The perfect temperature and combination of warmth and sweetness mixed together.

My son and his wife treated us to dinner for my birthday! It could not have been tastier or more fun. Love the atmosphere and the menu. I'd go back in a second!

We had a very special dinner at Sacred Pepper. The food and service was fantastic. My mom had the Sea Bass and it was cooked to perfection. The pork chop was to die for. Great atmosphere. Booked a table for the very near future. A hidden gem

From start to finish was so delicious. We had everything from appetizers to dessert and everything was the ambience is amazing for a date night. The servers are amazing and know their stuff! Get reservations because they book fast especially in December.

A happy Anniversary surprise. Great food, wonderful service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Thankfully vegan options were available and the staff was more than accommodating on answering questions about food modifications and the waiter was so knowledgeable about everything Sacred Pepper.

I LOVE THE SACRED PEPPER. The food, the service, the decor, and the extra attention to ALMOST every detail! Here is why I rated only 4 stars for such an extraordinary place. We arrived at 7: 45. We had an amazing server (young bald male, can't remember his name). We enjoyed well prepared cocktails, a yummy generous appetizer (fried brie), absolutely delicious meals (so good that nobody had leftovers!). We decided to order a dessert to share and we weren't disappointed with the enormous and to die for apple crisp! Wow! The only problem was that the musician continuously raised the volume with every song he played to the point that we could no longer hear each other and we had to literally yell to each other and we had to resort to hand signals and lip reading to communicate with our server! It was so loud during the dinner hour that it became stressful. We considered not ordering dessert just so we could get out of there, but we were celebrating a birthday and wanted to have dessert and have a candle blow out situation. Lol This situation with the extremely loud music only happens on Friday and Saturday nights. My recommendation if you make reservations on those nights is to make them far in advance in order to request a table far away from the musician. It was so ridiculous that my family has been makingand exchanging funny meme's out of the pictures we took that night! One of the captions. Whenv is so f@**ING LOUD at the Sacred Pepper! Lol I would understand if the music was turned up after the dinner hours on the weekend, but we were there from 745 until 945. I still recommend a visit.maybe on the weekend or with my above recommendation.

My date and I could not hear each other across the table because the music was so loud. She was a great singer but we came to enjoy the food and each other's company. I should not have to scream to talk to my better half. Been coming there since it opened. Disappointed.

You have to shout to your guests at dinner because the music is so loud. Has gone to the loud music crowd rather than maintaining an upscale restaurant. Disappointing.

I was super excited to try this place because I've been in Tampa for years and have always been told I need to try it. I was so disappointed. The rest of the people that are mentioning the loud music are absolutely correct. I could talk to the person sitting right next to me and that was it. We couldn't have a conversation as a table because we couldn't hear each other. I also did not like anything I had, except for the creme brule. Our appetizer was bland, I got the side mac n chese and couldn't wait to try it and then was bland too. I took 2 bites and was done. For dinner I got the chicken parm and disliked that too - the chicken was hard and my pasta was undercooked. We all agreed that the app and mac n cheese were subpar but everyone else really liked their meals so that's why I gave 3 stars.

The pinnacle of fine dining in this area. Modern, chic ambience and unforgettable food. The type of place where I don't even want to spoil your first time by recommending something because everything on the menu is memorable and so tasty. Great wine selection for your meal as well as after-dinner drinks. This is THE spot in Carrollwood for an intimate celebration.

Awesome service and nice variety on menu. Fried brie was good, meatballs were decent. The gnocchi was very good. My wife didn't enjoy the filet and jasmine rice. I liked the brussel sprouts, but there was alot of glaze. 4 stars since it seemed to depend on what you ordered. I'd definitely go back. The atmosphere was nice and restaurant us very nice inside. You could go casual or dressed up depending on your occasion.
