The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club ~ Miami Beach

The location is the best thing about the Savoy Miami. Steps from the beach and in the quietest section of south beach. Everything else is ridiculous.also the website says they serve breakfast and they don’t. And depending on who you ask the poolside food starts at 9 or 11. I’m shocked at the “the staff was great” reviews. My experience is that the staff could care less. Examples: getting coffee in the lobby and asked for cream and get told “they only provide black coffee ma’am” the next day… there was NO coffee. The bottom sheet on our bed didn’t fit. I asked for one that fit. The brought another.that didn’t fit. Literally just lays on top the bed and slides around so the mattress is exposed. I asked to have the coffee in the room refilled and cream brought. They didn’t. I asked at the pool if we could rent a cabana and was told to go online and do it. I said “can’t you do it here? ” She said “at the front desk”. The front desk said “at the pool”. The room had one wash cloth. The bathroom had no hand towels. I sent an e mail to a manager about the state of our room and got no response. Apparently no one is running this circus. My hubs and I just called the Savoy “the place that gives zero s@$t”

Came to enjoy a sunny afternoon with my sister and we had a good time. The atmosphere was great, however the Pina coladas and food were mediocre.

Love this Hotel! Stayed in March 2023. The Beach and the beach access is fantastic and so is the beach club. The pool area is absolutely beautiful and lots of places to sit and lounge. Lots of staff serving drinks and food. The food is good and prices are decent. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the only thing I felt that there needed to be is a desk with chair so you can use you laptop and would have loved a rug under the bed for coziness. Otherwise will definitely be back 100%!

Visited for the day in a Resort Pass. Lovely hotel facilities in a great spot. Attentive service at the beach and pool. Will definitely return.

Great boutique, legacy SoBE hotel in the SoFi district. A bit quieter for that area, rooms are spacious and clean with some balconies available. Pool is legacy SoBe so it’s bigger and deeper than they’re allowed to construct under modern codes. Very worth a visit.

I loved the place, the staff is very friendly, the food is delicious; without a doubt an excellent place.

Stathis and George were sooo amazing they helped me and my girls have a wonderful stay! The pool was so nice and clean and the aesthetics are so pretty! I love the drinks too and food everything was perfect MY FAVORITE THING WAS THE OUTDOOR SHOWER!

A Lovely Gem on Ocean Drive within walking distance of Amazing Food, Niche Shopping and a Gorgeous Beach! The Pool Area was Stellar, and sooooo close to the Beach, it was Vibrant and Warm and the Staff were Kind and Helpful! Definitely worth Every Penny!

SO I was supposed to write a review ages ago but here it is! I LOVE THE SAVOY, I first stayed here in 2013 (10 YEARS AGO) and have stayed here at least 7 times since and the service has remained the same each time, OUTSTANDING. The views, location (south of fifth), and the amazing pool and bar make this a go to whenever I am in Miami. Its away from all the noise of South Beach but also perfect location from Lincoln road and downtown Miami making Uber cost fairly reasonable.

Last time, I visited for my bday (Feb 2023) I was unable to book because I waited until the last minute. So for the first time, I purchased a pool day pass! BEST IDEA EVER. For $75 you get ALL DAY ACCESS to the pool/bar AND BEACH. The pass includes a pool chair, beach chair, towels, a comp cocktail, and 10% off drinks and food. Y'all the food is bomb! Perfect MIAMI vibes! Shoutout to the new management and team at the Sandbar! They are extremely friendly and even gave me a complimentary bday drink!

SO I did give the hotel 4 stars for the rooms but this is because the hotel is constantly under renovations! I personally prefer to book the suites when I come because they seem to be the only rooms completely renovated. They have another building that I haven't stayed in since 2013, I'm not sure if its open but I loved that building and would love to see it back open as I believe the rooms were way bigger. Renovations are not a complete downside and I appreciate them as I'm sure it has to be due to the fact that it is an older boutique hotel and I'm sure has to undergo these renovations to keep up with modern times.

Post cruise resort pass stay for 4 hrs.the service and customer care is unmatched.beach service includes both food and drink service. I did not meet or experience any poor service or attitudes.

Food was great. I was treated like a king. Camila and George were amazing and 100% attentive. Excellent service. Will come back for sure.

The experience at the pool bar was amazing with Stathis the bartender that serves us! Was pretty kind and helpful and the cocktails were amazing with a very nice vibe and nice music! I would recommend for sure!

Review is for the beach club/sandbar area only. Terrible drinks and mediocre service. It was dead and they somehow managed to forget an order. Watered down drinks.

The pool area was busy with loads of kids and service was somewhat slow but nonetheless they were nice and helpful, the food and drinks were also tasty.
