Took both courses "D" with "Gunny" and "G" with Scott. They were both great. Very genuine with helping every student. If you're taking the "g" class, I would definitely recommend finding a video of what it is, but don't get caught up with time, you have plenty of time. I'll definitely be returning for my requals.
I did the 40 hour D class here. Gunny was a great instructor and made the experience a great one. His sense of humor is great, as well as his enthusiasm to teach. I strongly recommend taking the course here!
I just finished the D and G security guard classes. (still have range qualification to do) However, I have worked security before and I did not learn half of what I have learned from the STG. If you really want to learn how to be a good educated security guard, this is the company you want to learn from. My instructor's Sean and Robert were not just good instructor's but very helpful in the procedures of getting your license. I highly recommend them.
Just went to the G requalification class with these folks. A-1 quality operation, right there. From the knowledgeable classroom instructor, Frank (Kiwi), to the knowledgeable range instructors, Curt and Victor (Marines), to the friendly and helpful office staff, these folks knew what they were doing. Highly, HIGHLY recommend going to these folks for all of your security training needs. PJ Miller runs a tight ship and it absolutely shows. I do my best to patronize fellow veterans in their business ventures and you couldn't spend your money better than here.
I recommend the STG to anyone who is thinking about getting their security licenses. I got my D license at the Pembroke pines facility and my G license at this one. The instructors give you everything you need to achieve your goals and they are there every step of the way to assist and guide you. As a Marine Corps veteran myself, i felt very comfortable with the fact that the company is military and police veteran owned and operated. As long as you show up and LISTEN, you will be able to get certified in whatever you're looking for.
