One of the best restaurants on the Forgotten Coast. Even in this economy, very fairly priced. Everything is homemade and hot & fresh! Hard to beat!

The food very good.but honestly, even if I didn't care about the yummy fresh, plump raw oysters, perfectly prepared shrimp, fish, and sides, I could be happy as the gulls and pelicans perched in the water and on the piers because the setting and the salty atmosphere are unprecedented! Eating while drinking in the fresh open-air views of sparkling blue waters and boats in the bay and drinking an icy cold brew.well, it just doesn't get any better! And the wait staff are smiling and gracious, very helpful. My favorite place when I need to be refreshed!

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends as we are here on vacation. The atmosphere was great and it was right on the water. We arrived about 6: 30pm and were seated right away. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and they were delivered quickly. A table of 6 were seated not long after us and a table of 10 behind us. The waitress took the table of 6 order and then took ours. Another waitress took the table behind us order shortly after. We waited and waited and waited for our food. The table of 6 and the table of 10 were served and finished eating and we still had not gotten our food. We inquired about our food and was told they would check on it. About 5 minutes later they brought our food to us. We ordered a cheeseburger, Rock landing 4x4 combo and a ribeye steak with a baked potato. The cheeseburger was dried out and had a soggy bun. The Rock landing combo was good but not hot. The ribeye steak was good but cooked too long and the baked potato was not hot enough to melt the butter on it. We were very disappointed because we had waited so long. We were hungry! The table of 6 beside us even asked the waitress about how long our food took and why. She told them that a steak and blackened shrimp takes longer than fried food. We were in this restaurant 2 hours before we got our food and took most of it home in boxes to heat it up to eat. We were offered free pie when we brought this to the staffs attention. We visit here a few times a year and will not go back. Very disappointed.

Watch the sea gulls fly by, the boats go in and out, the sunsets, fresh air, tables under covered cabana with lights for the nighttime, Frozen drinks, live music at night and great seafood. Scenic view of water to enjoy. What's not to love. Pets welcome in covered cabana area. Preferably well behaved and/or on a leash of course. Come relax and have a good time.

Yes, good view, outside of that, bad experience. They served my favorite drink, that was not accurate, it was not grand mariner. Shrimp n grouper was almost non existent, very sad, used to be a great restaurant. I was very disappointed. Outside of the view, you have to wonder why people pay the post covid price for what they deliver. Really a big drop. I'll never go back.

The Freewheelin Band band was excellent! The steak was great. Very tasty, but choose the baked potato instead of the fries as they were below average, all stuck together and a little disappointing. Service was good. Will come back and recommend!

It just doesn’t get any better than delicious seafood on the water under a thatched roof. Always a cool experience!

Great seafood right on the water. Open air seating with a great bar and lots of live music. People of all ages were dancing and enjoying fun times under the thatched roof restaurant. Love it. Always visit a few times while in the area.

This place was a recommendation because I was looking for a place to bring family who were visiting from out of town. This hidden gem definitely did not disappoint. The atmosphere is relaxed, they had a band warming up as we were finishing our meal. The only knock is that the service could be better. They forgot to put my grandmother's order in and I had to ask several times for drinks to be refilled. Even with these issues, I'll definitely be back!

Fantastic drinks, food, service and a great atmosphere. Large portions and very reasonably priced. Music is always a plus, especially if it's Baby Grey

The catfish is really good! More than enough on the plate.
We went on a Thursday night and they had Karaoke which my 3 year old granddaughter really enjoyed!
Service was great and even with outdoor seating the breeze made it very enjoyable.

Updated second visit near Christmas 2022. Cold weather extreme taken into consideration. Service was ok. Food was not that good. Shrimp were not cleaned. So IDK. Gave it 5 stars 2 years prior but not even close second visit

Husband said catfish was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed my seafood platter with 4 scallops, 4 oysters, 4 shrimp and grouper! Waitress Jessica was very friendly and fast. View of the water was great also

I love it right on water if you like to sit and have dinner watching boats come in and out perfect spot. Went for my birthday food was excellent. You have to try the shrimp roll appetizers they are awesome!

VERY DISAPPOINTED.
By far the worst meal I've had in many years. The blackened scallops and shrimp were almost raw. The blackened oysters were inedible. Mullet, the reason we went, was way undercooked and full of bones. Veggies were surprisingly overcooked and mushy. NOTHING was seasoned. The only thing worth eating was the hushpuppies that came with the meal.
I ordered sweet tea and received warm unsweet tea three times before I gave up and got a coke from the bar.
I kinda hate myself for spending as much as I did on such horrible food.

We just went in on Saturday at 1: 30 and was told there was a half an hour wait. Yet walking in we went past about 15 empty tables scattered all over the place. So either you have a lot of extra tables throughout the restaurant that you just don’t plan on using or you did not have the staff, either way not very appealing to the customer.

We love this place! Great food, great employees, great view, and on the weekends great music!
