Excellent food! Excellent service! Fantastic Key Lime pie! It's worth the wait to get in!

Food was ok but not as good as it should be for the prices. Service could have been better. The atmosphere was HOT We sat outside and they didn't have enough cover from the sun. I wouldn't go here if I have another option.

We had a great table right on the water, but we got there late and were served old, cold, and some burned, food. I've eaten here a lot and it's usually good, but not anywhere near closing time, apparently

Average food, very limited local seafood, much of the seafood is from Alaska. Below Average presentation and smaller portions. Great view of the water. Poor key lime pie

Food was awesome! Best seafood dinner platter. Shrimp, snow crabs were delicious. We had the captain and lieutenant platters.

This was a great dining experience. My wife and shared the Lt.seafood platter and we couldn’t finish it all. Homemade key lime pie was better than I could make. The 40 minute wait was well worth it. Attentive friendly staff. I can’t say enough!

This was our first time in the area so we relied heavily on reviews to choose our restaurants. So glad we went with the Shack. The atmosphere is perfect for casual dinner after a day at the beach or on the water. Service was fantastic, (thank you Jan). And everything from the fried green tomatoes appetizer through cheesecake dessert was AMAZING. We highly recommend, but go early. We went around 3: 30-4: 00 and they were already on a wait. But it only took about 15 minutes for a table. By the time we left the whole deck was full of people waiting.
If you're unsure, choose this place.

Loved it! The sun is gonna be hot in the summer, but the patio was still a great experience! Serve was very friendly, and the food came quickly!

My family and I ate out daily and had, really, no complaints anywhere; but we all agreed that The Shack was our favorite. If you go, the yellow-fin tuna, and fried green tomatoes appetizers don't disappoint!

We sat under the patio near the water, which had a delightful breeze. The food was outstanding, exceeding our expectations. The crab boil special was soooo much crab for a great price, and the baja shrimp tacos were also really good. Thank you, Lily, for your recommendations. You were amazing!

Friendly staff with a relaxing atmosphere. Inside and outside seating. It's right by the water so there's a fantastic view to enjoy.

This is just what it says - a (quaint) big shack! We had the Trio starter followed by the blackened redfish and blackened Mahi fish tacos. Every bite was absolutely delectable and the service was fantastic from the host stand to the bar to the food service! This was a real find for a last minute detour!

Went for dinner. Wait was an hour and half. No problem. Went to bar to get drinks crab, and appetizer while we wait. We prefer sitting at the bar but there is only 6 seats. We were told we could not order anything since we are on wait list for table. Not the most efficient way to run a restaurant. Turning away 2 customers who want to order food while waiting for table or preferably a second bar seat to open? We left immediately at that point.

This is a popular spot and well worth the wait. We sat out on the patio area and had a nice view of the sunset. I was very happy they had Mahi, the Mahi tacos were very good! The service was friendly and it was clean.
