The Shaggy Dog Inc, Lake Worth Beach FL

I took my dog Vina (a small Maltese) for a full grooming today at 11: 15 am. They said she will be done by 4: 00-4: 30pm because she goes through a process of steps that takes time. I called about 4: 15, they said she still has 10 minutes to be ready. I arrived 4: 30 pm. The dog looked ugly, the hair around the face looked like zigzag and not similar on the two sides. I asked them to fix it and make the tail shorter. He tried but after he finished, the dog was still looking bad with pumps around the face and the chin and he removed almost all the hair on the tail? In spite of the very bad service, they charged me a high price ($78) ; I put the dog on my lab (I am on a power wheelchair) and left but at the car, I found my clothes are full of hairs. I put her on the passenger seat which became full of hair and the dog was sneezing and sneezing to clean her nose from the little hairs. I wondered, shouldn’t he have cleaned the hairs before he gives me my dog? When I arrived home, the dog ran to the water and kept drinking like creasy. I asked myself, did they leave her without water for over 5 hours? I found that her hair on the ears is one shorter than the other. The hair around the mouth is not similar on both sides. The dog looks bad and I believe she feels bad too. This is the worst grooming experience I have ever had for Vina, a beautiful calm friendly nice small doggy.

Aussie doodle gets a poodle cut and red heeler gets de-shed. My dogs have had issues elsewhere because of fear but never here. We drive far for this experience.

This is by far, the best groomer I have ever been to! They take such great care of my babies. It’s very apparent, they love what they do!

It's taken me 7 years to find a place that actually knows how to bath a cat and do a sanitary shave. The owner and her son are absolutely magical. There professional and have the utmost expertise in animal care. My Persian "Serenity" isn't even agitated after a morning at the spa. I can't say enough.
I give Shaggy Dog a million % review.

It was my cat’s first time being there and they said she did really well! She definitely feels much cleaner and isn’t shedding as bad anymore. Will definitely be coming back next time

Our terrier mix comes back looking dapper. He hates being groomed, but the staff at Shaggy Dog takes great care of him.

I took my English Bulldog "Bella" there to get pampered for the day. Bath, nails etc. It was her first time there, I was very pleased with her service. I will be taking her back in the future.

Really nice people that seem to care about the dogs that come into their doors and reasonably priced

I have been taking my dog Augie a mini aussiedoodle to Shaggy Dog for over a year now and have had nothing but great experiences. They are so accommodating and friendly and Brooke does an amazing job grooming him.

I just wanted to say what a Outstanding Job The Shaggy Dog did on my jack Russell Terrier. They are so kind, and caring and so professional and take the time to answer any questions you have.
I was very impressed at the cleanliness of the shop and how Nice Anne and Brooke were with my dog. I highly recommend them I would not take my Fur Baby any where else. They are Super Excellent Pet Groomers.

Brooke, Chad and Ann are the best! They are always happy to see our puppy, Drummer, and she is happy to see them. Drummer looks fantastic after being groomed and the price is perfect. I’ve been taking my beloved Persian cat, Cashmere for years. There is no other place like this and Cashmere loves it, too. They are so professional and gifted groomers. Their attention to detail is excepcional and Cashmere always come home so relaxed and feeling beautiful. I can tell he really enjoys his spa days at Shaggy Dog. The quality of service exceeds and surpasses my expectations each and every time. Also, the products they use are exquisite, Cashmere’s fur feels so soft and lustrous and the divine smells lasts for weeks after every visit. I would give them 7 stars if I could. Lastly, I must highlight the finishing touch they lovingly add to complete their impeccable service, a spectacular bow is made for my beloved kitty with high-end ribbons which varies depending on festivities and seasonal events.
