The Spine Center, Palm Beach Gardens FL

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident in February 2020. I was referred to The Spine Center by my attorney at the time. I saw a P. A.that was excellent. Dr Theofilos came in after my MRIs were reviewed and said I needed immediate surgery to avoid “drop foot. ” The person who caused the accident didn’t have the proper insurance coverage and the surgery was $55k. I actually was going to pay out of pocket.it’s now July 2020; my back is fine and I am about 90% recovered. I just got a bill that I am responsible for, for the one appointment I had. $750 just to walk in the door, $200 to look at my cervical MRI and $225 to look at my lumbar MRI. They also sent me that day to MD Now for surgery prep.another $1,750. I started receiving bills from The Spine Institute and MD Now about 2 months ago. They have me paying about $400 in “co-pays” between the two of them. Called the Spine Center to inquire and I was called back an hour later with the response “you’re liable for the bills, are you still thinking about having the surgery? ” Before you walk through the door for a $750 initial fee, I would do your research about the aggressive nature of the Dr to perform surgery. I have since been to an orthopedic surgeon and the problem was never in my lumbar. It was in my hip the whole time. Luckily I am only on the hook for hundreds and not $55k or so. I would not recommend The Spine Center to anyone.

Dr Theofolis was fabulous. He listenened to all my concerns and was very thorough. I felt very comfortable with him and will follow his instructions on my next step

Professional and friendly staff. Dr. Theofilos is knowledgeable and good at explaining the appropriate procedure. The wait time is a bit long and a concierge charge initial visit plus a copay is pricey. However, the surgical options seem to be cutting edge, but again a huge out of pocket not covered by insurance and not affordable by most. Wish they would have shared that information before I spent the money.

Dr. Theofilis is a dynamic professional who is prudent but also thinks out of the box. He is caring and really understands his patient’s concerns. I feel
very fortunate to have found him!

I had a back surgery almost 5 years ago and have been totally healed from the pain experienced from lower back and sciatica.
I highly recommend Dr. Theofilos to any one having spinal issues.
I was originally recommended by someone who was also happy with his medical care for cervical surgery.
I always have him top of mind for any issues dealing with joints and spine.

An excellent experience. From the first call for an appointment to talking to Dr Thofilos everything was friendly and informative. All questions were answered and the answers explained. I was recommend for more diagnostics and look forward to working with the Doctor and his staff to solve my spinal problems.

Everyone was super efficient and capable. If I had a spine problem, I definitely would come here.

I'm happy with my experience this morning as everyone took time to listen to me and to direct me to the next steps that I need. So this might be an ongoing review but so far so good! Office staff was nice and Dr. Theofilos was helpful in writing off somethings right away and focusing on others that will help me!

I am a new patient of Dr. Theofilos. I had severe back pain and needed an appointment ASAP. I called and and talked to Nick, the new patients' coordinator. He helped me very quickly and today was my first appointment. Dr. Theofilos was very attentive. The staff was very pleasant and quickly scheduled me for all necessary procedures. I am very happy I went to see Dr. Theofilos and look forward to following his instructions and feeling better.

AppoTintment was at 10am.saw doctor shortly there after. Very little wait. Saw nurse for vitals, spoke to PA and then to the Doctor.all very nice and very professional. This was my first visit, went very well, looking forward to going back.

Extremely long wait time approximately 3 to 4 hours. Slow service but the nurses and practioners are extremely nice and caring.

This place is so far from "State of the art" it not even funny. Rude and unorganized. Look elsewhere.

NATALLA or SIERRA the worst receptionist is very rude unprofessional employee disgusted on how they treated my WIFE! Doctor should invest in professional staff that do not involve emotions or anger into phone conversations!

A relief that I don't need surgery. Dr. T was marvelous, put me right at ease & answered all my questions.
