This is our favorite resort so far and it deserves 6 Star rating. Location, food, service, hospitality was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back.

All staff was outstanding, but I do want to point out one that made our stay extra special, Ziggy. We met Ziggy just as we stepped foot on the beach. He was positive, smiling, attentive, full of energy.

I booked a one night stay on August 25,2023 through American Express Platinum. $2,700 for one night. I’ve never had a hotel not offer me an upgrade.they said they don’t have free upgrades only if I want to pay another $700 they can give me larger room. I agreed.in room the air conditioner not working.room 2202 I believe.we got stuck in room for 2 hours while management “finds” us another room.they give us another room and it smells like mold and AC not working there either.they promised to give us $1000 credit to our American Express credit card.have been getting the run around from Edwin, Eric and the staff there and still have not received it.
Location is good, otherwise it’s horrible for the money they ask for. Would not Reccomend. @managment- get back to me regarding the credit

The hotel made a very positive first impression, with a very efficient check in and a beautiful room

Also, the staff in Atlantikos are fantastic (dinner and breakfast), with a warmth and professionalism that is genuinely impressive

Unfortunately, the hotel management (and this includes front desk staff who double up - laughably - as the “butler”) seem to run the hotel in a Soviet style, with zero flexibility or personal touch. It is the strangest thing, and I can only speculate whether they have a lot of guests with unreasonable requests, and therefore the front desk / “butler” have retreated behind the rule book. Simply put, it is not even slightly competitive with service levels at genuinely 5-star groups like Mandarin Oriental or Shangri-La

The beach is nice

The best hotel stay ever. The customer service is amazing. Every employee I came in contact with was happy and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are breath taking and the beach is so quiet and relaxing. This will be my go to reset trip every year. They even have amazing art everywhere. I don't even need to leave the hotel.

Stay away! Run-down property with a 2 star service.
1. Ambassador level with Marriott, so I travel a lot and try to write good reviews when credit is due, but this St. Regis Miami Bal Harbour Resort is so bad and that it is the exception.
2. We waited for 30+ minutes to check in (people are standing and handing you water instead of checking you in)
3. Room was filthy and run-down (see pictures)
4. It was our anniversary, so the kids call the hotel and ordered a surprise cheese tray for us - their credit card was charged but noting was delivered.
5. Asked to speak with a manager but he/she was too busy and never contacted me back.
6.on a good note - the pool staff are very good.
7. Food is OK minus
8. Front desk service - ridiculously bad

Elegant hotel with great views.
Only a shoe we had was the elevators that really are unnecessarily complicated and didn't work half the times and would drop you on the wrong levels if they worked with the gu3at cards.

Also overcomplicated lighting system that didn't quite work and we couldn't open the drapes for the 4 days we were there

Amazing and unique luxury hotel with emphasis on the smallest details. The hotel sets itself apart from its competitors by providing large and square balconies fit for a banquet and you are able to look each other in the eyes instead of sitting in a lineup. Thus you are able to create more memorable experiences with your loved ones. In addition the pool launch chairs are unmatched in quality, comfort and size. Not the Four Season nor the Ritz Carlton come close. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your every request is met. If you want a truly sophisticated and extraordinary hotel experience then the St. Regis Bal Harbour is the only choice in the Miami area!

The St. Regis Bal Harbour has won numerous awards, including:

Forbes Five-Star Award (2014-2023)

AAA Five Diamond Award (2012-2023)

Travel + Leisure, Best US Resort List, 2023

Top 100 Hotels in the world - The ROBB Report 2021

Hot List - Conde Nast Traveler 2021

World Travel Awards, Leading Luxury Resort in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and South America 2022

These awards are a testament to the hotel's commitment to excellence in all aspects of its operation, from the luxurious accommodations to the impeccable service.

Here are some additional thoughts on the hotel:
• The service at the St. Regis Bal Harbour is impeccable. The staff is always attentive and willing to go the extra mile to make sure guests have a memorable stay.
• The hotel is extraordinary well-maintained. The rooms are spotless and the grounds are beautifully landscaped.
• The location of the hotel is perfect. It is right on the beach and countless shops, and the restaurants are right across a private skybridge.
•I would definitely stay at the St. Regis Bal Harbour again. It is a truly luxurious and special place to stay
• The hotel has a private beach with butler service.
• The hotel offers a variety of day trips and excursions, including boat tours, fishing trips, and airboat tours.
• The hotel has a state-of-the-art fitness center with ocean views.

Second Part for Eldar Naduev review

5. And last. The story that made me absolutely MAD. Night before we were leaving I called reception and ask if they could give us a late check-out. Lady at the reception said that hotel is not that busy and they could give us late check out for both rooms. I asked if any additional payment was needed: “no, no extra payment”. She explained that usually hotel lets to stay till 16: 00, but if we ask they can prolong that till 17: 00. She said that the only thing we have to do is to call reception before 11: 00. My mom was after surgery, so I had to help her with packing up the clothes. I asked (just to confirm it 100%) if she speaks Russian, she said “yes”, and explained everything again all the same way but in a different language. I once more asked her if I understood everything correctly. She confirmed. Next morning I called reception. Answered lady called Stacey.

This was the worst, the most humiliating, the most disrespectful phone call I’ve ever had. Just extremely RUDE (hello, Stacey). She would say that lady that I spoke yesterday was an intern, that I should had not believed her, that she did not understand how it works. And we have to pay 999$ to have a late check-out. Well, is it my problem that your employee don’t know anything? It turned out that Russian speaking intern had a day off, but anyway Stacey reached her by phone. And here. Here is the part I don’t understand at all. That lady. That very lady that I spoke yesterday in two languages would deny that she has said that… I understand if she would admit her mistake, but why make me crazy saying that I made things up? Stacey did not even apologies, one time she even hanged the phone without explanation. The way she talked to me was beyond “unprofessional”. She refused to give me Russian speaker interns first name, for the first 11 times she would not even say the name of the manager. And I just don’t understand WHY? ! When I asked when manager would be available she said “between 9 am and 7 pm”… She was talking to me in THE MOST OFFENSIVE WAY YOU COULD IMAGINE. People like her or other staff that we dealt with should not be working in a hotel that ask 1000$ for late check-out.

You guys better work on your staff and the service that you provide than block access cards.

JUST WORST PLACE EVER. THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY HOLIDAYS.

PART 1. (Please read second one below)

UNPROFESSIONAL, HUMILIATING, RUDE, WORST.

We were staying at St Regis in Bal Harbor for I week with whole family. First, I have to say it was the WORST experience I’ve ever had.

And the thing is — we’ve been staying in that exact hotel for our winter holidays for the last 5 (if not more) years. But this time we had such a horrible service, experience and hospitality…

First things first:

1. The hotel is definitely experiencing lack of personnel. No one opens door at the entrance or help with bags from the groceries, no one says “hi” or “bye”. No one smiling, no one helping. Even id you say “hi” sometimes they would not respond. I got a feeling that I am working there, not them. It seems that staff is just not interested in their work at all. It was more like a cheap apartment hotel with no personnel.

2. We had to call at least 2 times to ask room service to clean up the room. Even after that there were few cases when the room wasn’t cleaned up. Moreover, to ask for the toothbrush we had to call 3 times. And that was the case with all of our requests. Once we asked for berries (berries (!) not any other fruits) — we got grapes and little of moldy strawberry. And again. That hotel costs thousands a night.

3. In the booking we mentioned that we would like to have rooms near to the elevator and we were told that they have them available. Even during checking-in manager at the reception assured us that they are near to the elevator. But once we went up I found out that my room was the FAREST room from the elevator! I understand that sometimes hotel is busy — but we were told (during booking, during checking in) that hotel would meet our request with no problem at all. And I wasn’t asking as a fancy request, my mom had a surgery, so I asked them to make rooms near elevator, so it would be easier for her. Called reception again — “sorry” — the only thing they said. DISRESPECT — is the only thing you can be assured of when staying in that hotel and paying thousands dollars per night.

4. Once my credit card did not work for the deposit. I explained that they better try tomorrow and it would work. But what was my surprise when immediately after that hotel just blocked my access card to the room with all my clothes and belongings in. I went down. That said they just forgot to fix access card. I went up again (JUST REMINDER — TO THE FAREST ROOM FROM THE ELEVATOR) and it did not work again. Well, I had to go down one more time. ONLY ON THRID TIME COULD I ENTER MY ROOM. HUMILIATING.

Please read second part.

First vacation in 4 years. A two-room, three-night stay, without granting late check-out to 2: 00 p.m, on a Monday, was not appreciated. There was absolutely no basis to end a lovely stay in this manner. Doubt there’s anyone waiting for our rooms at the end of summer.

Rooms and view make up for the rather slow service. In fairness it is slow season as well; I imagine service returns to normal once occupancy increases in October/November.

I am a Marriott Associate so therefore the deal was exceptional, paying about 1/3 of the asking rate.

If you order delivery with DoorDash or UberEats, make sure you come down to the lobby to receive it- do not count on the runner/bellman to deliver to your room in quick fashion.

It wasn’t a bother to me but there were more children than adults, especially in the pool. Beach is better than the pool, servers are attentive; $32 for a brand-marked coconut. They start wrapping up the beach chairs at 6pm.

Hotel rooms are dated and never renovated since hotel opened in 2010. The interior and exterior of hotel are in bad shape. The fountains leak everywhere and are all shut down. Spa is not open everyday and lacks staff and services. Hotel rents ground level to a local church every Sunday Morning for years with huge crowds and noise and music. Hotel suffers without a decent resturant experience. The Four Seasons has the surf club, the St. Regis has nothing so you have to go else where. Service is not consistent. The best thing about the hotel is the location.
