The Sterling Aventura

Mark, Daniel, Flavie, and all of the staff deserve 10 stars not 5. They are professional, caring, hard working, and so efficient. The medical aides, nurses, aides, and all other staff are so attentive to every need of patients as well as the family. I know my father is in excellent care at The Sterling!

My mom has been at the Sterling for about 8 months and we are happy with her care. Edlyne, the director of nursing is very helpful and keeps us informed of any needs or changes in Mom’s health and care needs. My mom absolutely adores Daniel Dhanaram, who made her feel welcomed and loved from the day she got there. I love that he is readily available, responds to all of my messages immediately, and takes care of anything we need with a smile. He is an absolute gem and a bright light within the community. My only issue with the community is with the business office. When my mom left it took 5 months to settle her account. Phone calls to the director were difficult and rarely responded to. It wasn’t until I called ACHA for support that things were settled.

Daniel has been very helpful in taking care of my grandmother & making her feel like she is really at home.

I want to thank the Sterling at Aventura from Daniel to the nurse's aids for looking out and taking care of my mother. The Sterling is clean, the staff is very caring and professional.

My brother and I are so appreciative of our wonderful experience at The Sterling. From our first tour, to the move -in transition facilitated by Mark Monaghan, we were very well cared for. My mother has been extremely pleased with the friendly support staff as well as the nursing staff (thank you, Flavie). She has been guided and encouraged to integrate into the community by Daniel Dhanaram who has expertly navigated her memory issues. The Sterling has significantly reduced our stress in caring for our mother- this has been priceless.

They take such wonderful care of my Grandmother. Additionally, their chef plans / coordinates wonderful events with a 3-5 course meal (Not everyday). We appreciate how the staff really looks after our loved one. Thank you so much Sterling Staff!

My dad has been at The Sterling Aventura for 11 months now. What a blessing it was to find this place! First, the whole process of enrolling and moving in was made flawlessly easy by Mark Monaghan. Then we met Daniel Dhanaram, the warmest, most caring person you can imagine, who seems to never sleep and is always there for me and my dad, whatever is the need. The nursing staff is amazing and very caring and friendly. The place is clean, housekeeping is good, food service is excellent, and the cost is very reasonable for the level of service we receive. But what is the most important - my dad is HAPPY there!

My father Eduard moved in to the Sterling, Memory Care floor, a few months ago and he is very happy. We work directly with Daniel DHANARAM, Director of Memory Care & Life enrichment. He is one of the reasons we choose for Dad to be there. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable about the facility, available when we have questions, replies promptly and takes care of all the liaison with medical and personal matters. Dad is always happy and wears a big smile, Daniel tries to keep the residents busy which stimulates them positively. He’s a great Asset to the Residents and to the Sterling. I am 100% confident in knowing my Dad is being treated as family.

My family's experience has been wonderful. In particular Daniel has been super supportive and very responsive and accommodating to our family. He is great! He is always there with a smile and ready to do what needs to be done to make us happy. The care is first class and the employees are always trying hard to make the residents happy.

My mom, Nena, have been in the facility for a little more than a year. This place is neat and professional. Even though this have been hard for my mom -Alzheimer"s- and for us, we are in gratitude for the care my mom receives in this special area, the 3rd floor. The staff are hard workers, Daniel is always aware and willing to run the extra mile with us. Special mention to Digna who belongs to the maintenance team bur speaks Spanish and is very kind and helpful. Ann Marie, Hyacinth.the nurses.they are all aware of the residents. I volunteered at this place for my college hours and to get extra credit and it was truly an amazing experience. I volunteered with Daniel and learned so much, like how to setup different activities for the residents, understand each and every one of their needs, help serve food on the first floor and how to keep the residents occupied with all the creative and amazing activities that Daniel made for them to do. Daniel also taught me how to connect with most of the residents on a deeper level which increased my confidence around people. This is a experience I will never forget. Thanks Daniel so much.

My mother has advanced dementia and my family has struggled to find a quality care facility for her. After terrible experiences in two seemingly fancy facilities, we finally found the Sterling. This place, and most importantly the people who make it work, has been a gift to my mother and whole family. The memory care director, Daniel, and the rest of the wonderful memory care staff make everyday feel joyful and calm for my mother. At previous facilities, my mother used to dread returning to her facility from family outings and felt horrible anxiety that she would be left alone. Now, my mom seems relieved and relaxed at the end of family outings aready to go home to the Sterling, where she has made friends and knows she will be safe and comfortable.

Truly a "rare breed" in senior assisted living facilities. Beautiful location, accommodations, food, and activities are top shelf. But it's truly the personal that's makes the Sterling such a unique place. Thanks to them our mother loves her new home.

Grateful for the staff at Sterling (Daniel, Annemarie, Flavie, Mark and many more) that care for my grandfather like family. They are loving patient and communicative. It’s comforting knowing he is well cared for in his home. Daniel and his staff went above and beyond to plan an amazing 90th birthday party for him. Decorated the entire place! We are forever indebted to them.

We moved here from Arizona and couldn’t be happier with our choice to have my mom live here at the Sterling! It is super clean and the staff is amazing! Especially Daniel, their Activities Director. He makes sure everyone feels included and loved.

Daniel and Staff always treat you like family when you visit. They welcome you with a warm smile and try to assist resident with any special need they may need.
