The UPS Store reviews
10Tried finding this location and could not find it — I think it’s now an optical outlet? UPS needs to update their website and this location because I don’t think it exists anymore.
Never responded back to my print/laminate email. Called multiple times. No one ever answered. Had to take my business elsewhere.
Valerie is amazing and her store is wonderful! Very helpful and accommodating! Highly recommend!
This UPS location has the worse customer service there is. They don’t even score a 1 STAR. I visited the store on 04/09/23, two employees at the front counter but I was greeted. Second, I asked Alex for an Express Envelope and he tried to get me to purchase a personal envelope off the wall. Twice, I explained that I had a prepaid return label. He still didn’t get it.
I then showed him my prepaid label and he quietly says “oh yes you’re right”.
This is the second time I’ve dropped off documents at this location and received horrible service. This location needs training from the UPS Store at 2603 NW 13th Street Gainesville, FL 32609.
They cannot bill a UPS Billing Account number - or accept high value packages for shipment. They are not actually affiliated with UPS but are a 3rd party franchise. I would recommend going to UPS instead of the UPS store.
Returned Amazon packages here while in town. I’ve been to dozens of UPS stores and never asked to pay $1 to tape my boxes. I asked the lady behind the counter if she was the owner and she said yes. I told her that my customer feedback is that charging to tape a package is a bad business decision. She got sassy and went on and on telling me how and why she had to charge for tape. I understand the need for a business to make money but charging $1 for a max. 5 cent piece of tape is not good business. I was kind enough to box up multiple items. I could have returned each item individually and taken up more of her employees time and cost her even more money in little Amazon baggies…than she would ever pay in tape. Ridiculous policy and rude business owner. Overall very sub par business owner. Young guy behind the counter was nice enough.
I definitely will not go back there. I will drive out of my way to go to another UPS Store.
Never been a UPS store with such bad customer service… never been to one that charges for a single piece of tape either
I was impressed with this UPS store. The service was prompt and professional. Good customer service is hard to find these days. I will certainly go back to that store again.
Staff was very helpful and even taped up my box for 50 cents! Will use this location for all of my book returns!
The blonde hair lady employee on December 16th at 3: 35 PM stole my amazon return package that I dropped off and I am now at a 300$ loss.
EDIT 1/16/23 9: 48AM IN RESPONSE TO THE STORES REPLY BELOW: "Under Paid, I've owned this business for over 20 years and have never or will ever "steal" anyone's package. To write this is absolutely absurb. We give all Amazon customers a drop off receipt and if you are having issues with getting a refund, this is all you need to present to Amazon. We have no control over the packages once UPS picks them up. "
What is absurd is claiming ownership of a business for 20 years and not having a plan of action to resolve this incident done by an employee not by me, the customer, who clearly stated the incident is due to YOUR CUSTOMER. NOT YOU THE OWNER.
I HAVE A PHYSICAL RECEIPT.
I DROPPED OFF THE PACKAGE.
YOUR EMPLOYEE SCANNED AND TOOK MY PACKAGE FROM MY POSSESION.
THEN, THE TRACKING DID NOT UPDATE.
IS THAT AMAZONS PROBLEM? NO.
THAT IS YOU; UPS 2112 SW 34th St- AND I'S PROBLEM.
I CAN NOT FILE A CLAIM ON UPS BECAUSE THE TRACKING NUMBER ON THE RECEIPT ISN'T ACTIVE. SUPRISE RIGHT? WHERE COULD IT HAVE GONE?
SO I CALLED UPS CORPORATE AND THEY EVEN SAID IT IS INDEED BETWEEN YOU UPS 2112 SW 34th St AND I'S PROBLEM.
