The Urban reviews
17Beautiful Atmosphere no hassle for parking of course you must pay or if you have a handicap placard it's useful plus parking nearby is free.
We had tickets to get in before 9pm. Got here at 8: 15pm. And they made us wait over 2hrs to get in just to pay $60 at the door. That’s not right they need to let ppl once they come in rather than forcing us to wait & pay.
We got in line at 8: 30 with preordered tickets and didn’t even get INSIDE until 10: 20. Then they charged us $60 for entry because the tickets were only valid until 9 but the whole time they had the line moving ridiculously slow. But that’s Miami- tax for everything. I only paid cause Teyana Taylor’s supposed to be here otherwise kick rocks
Best place to party especially every Sunday Rise and Toast best Caribbean party in Miami check it out and you ll come every Sunday
Best place to visit especially for Rise & Toast. One of my favorite party scenes in Miami!
Really enjoyed myself. Loved seeing everyone enjoying themselves. Drinks were reasonable. Will say you need a personal fan for day events, outside venue so the HEAT is ON.
Great ambiance, music, food and drinks at the Rise & Toast Brunch!
The Best Vibes
Came here for Black pepper food and wine. Parking was ridiculous. Line moved fast. Most vendors ran out of food by 530.it ended at 8. I'll check it out again next year.
Just a straight up vibe. Especially every Sunday with Rise & Toast. A must do for brunch in the Sunday with amazing vibes.
Cute place, definitely a vibe. Good trucks were great and they had hookah. Would definitely go again!
My friends and I decided to come The Urban for a fun Sunday day. When we walked in, we paid our cover fee and walked into the court yard area. The layout of the event space is a middle part with lounge chairs with a covered top, cabanas, a food truck area with seating, and other areas where you can stand. I suggest for a more comfortable experience to reserve an area or a cabana, because it is an open space, and the non reserved areas our not within the covered areas; especially with summer time coming it can get very warm outside. Plus you will have to stand for the majority of the time unless if you sit by the food truck area. The DJ was playing amazing music and had the crowd moving. The food truck there that day had great service and good food. The jerk chicken was cooked to perfection with a good amount of sauce. I wish I had ordered more lol. Overall, I will definitely come back to The Urban, and to make sure to have a reservation for a lounge area.
Good environment but hate that All the seating is RSVP. Visited for the 1st time and Enjoyed the music and vibe buy couldn't Eat or Smoke Hookah because there was No Where to sit.
The noise is unbearably loud, I am about to go to the police personally to file a complaint regarding the loud noise that the local residents heard, they are not going to be saved from a large fine for the lack of respect for other people's rights. LOWER THE VOLUME OF THE MUSIC YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY VALID RIGHT IN FLORIDA TO TURN UP THE VOLUME OF THE MUSIC EXAGGERATELY. I am going to hire a lawyer to investigate if I can file a lawsuit against the loud sound emanating from this place, knowing that it is against Florida law.
I was glad I was there with the people I was with, but the no open toe shoes for guys caused a hassle and the place was basically empty once in.
Always a vibe! Great music, over prices drinks, and good food. The outdoor venue provides a awesome atmosphere
Beautiful space. Great vibes. Great people. Great music. Perfect Location. What's not to love
Horrible experience. I came here for Brunch on Sunday at an event called Rise and Toast. There is no reason you spend upwards of $300+ for a “VIP” experience (when there is free entry) and for it to be completely the opposite of that. Our waitress barely acknowledged us, then when she came to our table to give us the bottle we ordered there were no sparklers, very rushed service, and we never saw her again. I’ve been to New York, Los Angeles, DC, Atlanta and even other spots in Miami and have never experienced “luxury VIP” like this in any other place. They should truly be ashamed.
