The Wharf Buffet reviews
16Well for 50.00 I expected a bigger buffet with more selection, there was very little room and had to wait in line. The crab legs were not fresh and the filet mignon was dry. Very disappointed.
Will never go back here. Everything was over cooked and not well seasoned. This was the only place my husband and I went out to for dinner and it was very disappointing. The crab legs are way smaller than other restaurants in the area and they were so over cooked that the crab meat stuck to the shell. They charge $50 per person and it is not worth it. My husband and I paid $114 for nothing. We will never go back to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone.
This place is pricey, but probably worth it. Maybe just for the guys (haha). The staff was unbelievable. Friendly. Personable. Fast. The food was very high in quality and there were tons of great options. We sat outside, where we received fantastic service at a clean table. They even had a gator floating alongside the deck waiting to be fed. I will be back.
All you can eat buffet including crab legs, shrimp etc. Very good food. Also have a gator that hangs out waiting for scraps!
Absolutely amazing, both the dinner, light show, and server (Kayla). Fantastic food! My husband and I are already planning our next visit!
Loved the buffet, especially the steaks, the crab legs weren't fresh or had been frozen, no flavor. Still a great deal 4 ur $. Best steak ever! We ate outside n the weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, we didn't get to see George the Alligator, but we did see the biggest turtles ever. Plenty to look at and shops too. Go, ENJOY!
The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Very worth the price. The view and wildlife behind the buffet is gorgeous too!
Food was really good for being a buffet. The snow crab peeled out really easily, that's always a plus. We sat outside by the lake, their is a good sized alligator that hangs out there waiting for left overs. Over all a good experience.
Food overall was good and clean area around the whole place. Staff members were all polite and helpful about things very promptly. Good atmosphere
We had an okay time here. Read reviews seemed like a nice Buffett for 50$ dollars a person I expect a decent sized Buffett for 50$ a person but it was very small only 1 long table of food and 1 short table then I small stand for desserts. The crag legs and steak were the only good things on the Buffett and still just okay if your asking me. No cheese for the salad either for my girlfriend 50$ please get some cheese for the salad bar… crag legs were pretty good though which is what I came for.
Food is great. Customer service not quite. The waiters (Chelsea) only rude and guy who wear nail polish. But the individuals who have on all black entire are wonderful. Trust me the experience is worth the money. Love the food!
Good food, but expensive. Much better food than the other buffets, clean and good service. Online photos make you believe that the place is much larger and the buffet is much longer. That’s a bit of creative photography. Still, if you must buffet, this one is very good.
This had THE best steak I've ever had at an all you can eat type restaurant. It was a filet and it was so tender and perfectly cooked. The Crab legs was really good, the only drawback was the limited amount of items on the buffet. Loved the aquarium they had inside. Didn't get to see the alligator on the lake but did watch a fountain show.
Food in general good esp crab legs. Temp of some food items could have been hotter. She crab soup ok but have had better. Filet flavor food but again have had better. Overall glad we went. Eat outside and b sure to see the alligator
My experience was an, okay experience. For $50 a person, guess I expected a larger buffet ️. Crab legs were small, but the small crab cakes, hushpuppies and steak were pretty good. I ordered a mixed drink which came in a small plastic cup. I tasted no alcohol in this $10 drink, disappointed on that aspect. My wife ordered a bottled Bud Light, $5 we paid. So, alcohol is pricey. Can I say we would be back, probably not. We don't feel like the $124 check was worth the food, alcohol or experience overall all. Sitting on the deck was nice though.
Service was good. Quick seating. Majority of the food it was pretty decent for a buffet. But what is majority of people go there to eat the crab legs all you can eat right? The crab legs are very small compared to most places also the crab legs are over cooked and flimsy to the touch when trying to crack them open. For the price it’s outrageous. I can find a lot better food o spend my money on for dinner
