Theater of the Sea, Islamorada FL

Been here several times over the past few years.i love the little garden cafe in the middle where you can just sit and relax and have a bite. Come here every time we are in Kay Largo.

This place was great but when we first got there there was no guide or anybody to tell us where to go. Once we figured it out and we ran into the group we were supposed to be with, we had an excellent time. There is lots to see and excellent shows. Being a tourist. This is a great place to stop and see. And it benefits the animals because they are all injured in some way or other so explaining your money there greatly benefits them. I absolutely recommend you give it a try!

Not a fancy place, and even old.
But there is a nice parrot show and a very nice dolphin show

Could be better, excellent for kids to have a close encounter with a dolphin at a much more affordable price compared to Seaworld overpriced options.

Best dolphin show I've seen! Great place for kids and adults alike. The people here seem to really care about the animals and do a great job. There's a lot to see besides dolphins, they have sea turtles, sea lions, tropical birds, rays, sharks, crocodile, alligator, etc. Clean facility, nice gift shop, friendly staff.

Very excited about this attraction, just one thing - try to think over marking visitors with black colored ink stamp - I have it all over my T-shirt.

If you’re in or near Islamorada, I would definitely recommend coming to Theater of The Sea. They work on a schedule so you know exactly what times each of the shows start and you get to go from one show to the next. The dolphin show was hands down our favorite! It was amazing to sit front row and see them leap out of the water right in front of us. All the trainers were super friendly and the animals are rescues. The boat tour was a bit disappointing because it only lasted a few minutes. The shark feeding was our least favorite. This is park is all outdoors so keep in mind that will be hot outside. It was $50 per person. Overall, we enjoyed spending our day here!

The shows are great. It’s a cute place. However the deep water swim with a dolphin was not what they advertised. As it say in the name it was supposed to be deep water swim not shallow water. Half of it was shallow water, why? That is not what I paid for. On top of that the instructor was passive aggressive towards my sister (she was the one doing the swim, it was her bday) because she didn’t catch the fins of the dolphins in time. She is only 5’2 and have short arms.
Overall a good experience but way too overpriced for what you get.

Very nice marine animal park. Great animal shows - Dolphin, Sea Lions, Shark & Stingray feeding. Beautiful, huge turtles in ponds.

I loved our visit to this place. All the shows were incredible, even the informative ones. I love that the facility makes it feel more of a natural setting for the animals that live there. The staff seem to care very deeply about the animals in the facility. A special shout out to Sam who took the time to answer all of our questions. Swimming with the dolphins was amazing as well and very enjoyable.

Better than sea world! We went here on our honeymoon, had my wife swim with dolphins and feed the turtles. The staff was amazing and the shows were next level.

Hiding under the disguise of a rehabilitation center! They have many able-bodied animals that can be release into the wild. They force them to perform for food. One "trainer" stated that the bird cages are so small the bird don't even know how to fly.

Small park, there are shows that follow one another with 3 sessions per day, to be done in 2 hours max. Very nice dolphin and parrot show.
But the price is expensive compared to the service

Such a cool place to visit with awesome shows. My mom got to fulfill her lifelong dream to swim with dolphins and "Piper", a beaut of a gator, painted a picture for my daughters. Kick your shoes off and Wade into some shallow water to feed a bunch of parrot fish too Wonderful place to visit and I'll happily return next time I visit Florida

This place was beyond our expectation with wonderful shows much better than shows in seaworld. However it's small place but will keep you occupied till you there. Friendly staff and shows were all awesome.
