Thomas Donut & Snack Shop reviews
17So apparently being the first person there doesn't mean a darn thing. Needed two dozen assorted Donuts and you skipped the person who created the line really made me mad this morning thank you can't wait to break the news to my kids thank you so very much
Some of the best donuts anywhere! Cream filled are excellent! Apple fritters are super too! Best to arrive very early because the line becomes long later. Everyone loved this delicious bakery!
Always fun to visit here. I've ate here every time I go on vacation for 20 years and it never disappoints. Well worth a long line wait time. I would recommend the biscuits and gravy, they are perfect.
Delicious doughnuts, they have them displayed so you can know what you're getting.
Good quality, if you're in the market for doughnuts on the beach this is your place. I highly recommend their key lime doughnut
We come here every time we are on vacation. Their donuts and the biscuit and gravy are amazing. The line may be long in the mornings but it's so worth it.
Be prepared to stand in line outside. However, good things come to those who wait. My family loved the donuts
Best breakfast and donut place around. My original review was a 1 due to them not answering the phone. I now know why because the food is amazing.
One of my moms favorite stops. She made it 1 of mine. Always great pastries. I always recommend this place to all.
Good sweets. The food is ok. Service could be better on the savory food side. Three beach bum was delicious
We stayed next to this place.and it is constantly busy. But it is sooooo good. We had a little of everything from coffee, donuts, biscuits and gravy.pizza.ice cream.shakes.delicious! And don't let the lines intimidate you, it moves quickly. Very much worth the wait
Was there a long line? Yes. Was it raining out? Yes. Was it worth it? Absofrigginlutely! Here on vacation and as per usual, the family gets a hankering for donuts and we discovered this place online and it came highly recommended. We did what I like to call a "sampling" of the main goods so we could leave a good review.
The Kolach - We tried them all. All of them were amazing, but the brisket one was the crowd favorite. It is worth mentioning that this is likely due to the uniqueness of the flavor offering. We have a lot of kolach options back home, but they all mainly have eggs/cheese in them and your typical sausage, bacon, etc combos. The brisket was not a bbq/Smokey flavor, but was very good. My personal favorite though was the jalapeño, sausage and cheese. Perfect blend of spice and flavors! You can't go wrong with any one you choose.
Donuts - Fritters, glazed, filled, twists, muffins, and long Johns. Everything was good and fresh. Nothing was a disappointment or not enjoyed. We got way more than we needed so I'm curious to see how they hold up tomorrow morning being a day old.
Coffee - Just got a plain, black coffee. It was plenty hot and paired well with my selections. It was nothing special, but was not bad either.
Service- The woman that helped me was nice and patient as I made my two dozen selections of donuts and kolaches. She provided service with a smile and thanked me for my business as we parted ways. They seemed very busy and staying on your feet for hours at a time in tight quarters can make anyone miserable in rather short order. Glad to see they still value customer service.
For those saying you can go inside and get through the line faster, I saw people that went inside and waited in line both before and after I was already in line and I glanced inside before I left and they all were still inside waiting. My guess is more people went inside on my visit due to the rain. YMMV
I would definitely make this a stop to kick off your day right as you enjoy a day in PBC.
Sorry we didn't get many pics as we ate our food quickly as we were hungry. I don't want to do the business disservice with bad photos of picked apart donuts, so I won't do that.
Kids loved the variety and parents loved the prices. Yummy treats! Sat at the little bar facing the beach. They even have a little sink area to rinse off sticky hands. Restroom on the side of the shop is ok, nothing fancy. They were out of bananas for a banana split and had to remake one we asked for no nuts on, or would give 5 stars.
Get here early, you will always have a wait because it is so popular. Fresh on premise donuts. Their fried steak bagel is my favorite for breakfast and their cheeseburgers for lunch.
We tried this place for the first time this year after visiting PCB for several years. My in-laws told us about this place. The donuts were so delicious and their breakfast is too. Hands down the best breakfast and donuts I've ever had. We will make this our go to for breakfast every morning in our future visits. Our kids even agreed that this is the best breakfast/donuts.
Great place to have a fresh hot donut, or biscuits and gravy. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We will go again next time we are here in PCB.
Dense, small donuts that tasted like Entenmann's but $4.45 for 2. Ouch. More like a large donut ball & somehow looked shockingly smaller in hand than in the case. 2nd strike. Not a fan at all.
Now we know why the lines are so long. The donuts were extremely good. Although it was a long line, the employees worked diligently to keep the line moving.
