Three Broomsticks reviews
16 Took forever, and no staff members helped us. The staff all looked exhausted and unhappy.
After 1.5 hours of waiting and asking the staff for status updates, us and the two tables next to us were repeatedly assured that they were working on our food and they were just “slow”.
Finally, after seeing another able served and cleared TWICE, the staff FINALLY delivered our food saying that the tickets never printed so they actually had lost our order. No apology. No refund. Nothing to make it right. A terrible way to spend our day at Universal
Surprisingly, the fish and ship had a big chunk of fish and less batter which it was good. Hate when you other that and the only thing you get is the batter. Mac’n cheese in the kids menu was perfectly portion for a child. Chicken salad was missing a bit of dressing but portion was good. Overall, service was standard for a busy Christmas Eve day.
One of my favorite places to eat in Universal Studios for the atmosphere and the food. The staff are always friendly and are willing to give suggestions if you need. Always recommend getting a butterbeer while here.
The food was okay and the atmosphere was nice, but wow the waitress we encountered was horrible. They sat us right under the AC & it was really cold so we asked if we could be moved. I tend to easily get migraines from cold air on my head & my husband knew & asked for me. We saw a few tables empty too, so a waiter thought it would be no problem & asked for us, but the waitress responded rudely no for no reason. Honestly felt discriminated / targetted too bc i also noticed the only ppl sitting under the AC area were all Asians? It also took a while for the food to arrive bc the app had hiccups so not really their fault technically, so I appreciate the waiters that helped. Even a group of employees were complaining right next to us about how cold it was.ok then do something & turn it down? The food was OK while it was still warm, but the blasting AC basically made it cold halfway through the meal. You'll get a better attitude & service at California's Three Broomsticks tbh. This experience basically made me feel cold & miserable all day & ruined my time in Universal.
This is a really cool place and the kids really liked pretending they were actually in the book. I recommend the corn on the cob.
Overall this is a pretty good experience but 15 dollars a person is a little expensive if you ask me. The food is fresh at least. The atmosphere is fantastic!
Terrible. Save your money, there is absolutely nothing magical about this place. From the salty unpalatable eggs to the barely cooked pork sausage, to the bitter watery coffee in this assembly style lacking-in-anything-remotely-interesting place. I believe I paid $40 to add this to our itinerary yet on my receipt was $30 and some change. Potatoes were cold as well.
The food is overall good. The place is always crowded. It is a little pricey. Great place if you are a Harry Potter fan.
Does this half chicken look dry? Thats cause it is. Ketchup helped. The ribs were well cooked though. Well you could get better ribs anywhere else, theyre almost McRib consistency but flavor is there. Potatoes, I could live without. Corn was juicy and sweet.
You are seated and then you order via app. Dont forget to place an order for water. Kinda sat there a while hoping to find a water dispenser but didnt realize the water was just hidden in the menu pretty well. Water is free lol. Wait times are long.
Vibes are immaculate even though the food was just park food.
This is just a cafeteria. No waitresses and you're made to order on your phone, which takes all fun and magic out of the experience. Would not accommodate our child in a stroller. The staff you do encounter is very rude, probably from dealing with disappointed guests constantly.
Really expected more from universal resturaunts. I'm from Columbus, OH and the food is better at virtually any restaurant here than at the park. 10 of us paid to eat here for breakfast and the food was almost inedible. The eggs were horribly oversalted, and the potatoes are the greasiest things I'd ever seen. It's like no one tries any of the food before it goes out. Don't waste your money on 3 broomstick breakfast. We also still had to wait in line, order our food ourselves, pick it up at the counter, and find tables ourselves. Hardly what I thought would be a prepaid $30 reservation breakfast. They redeem themselves in this review 3 stars for dinner as it was much better but not outstanding. Otherwise for breakfast I rate 1 star.
I mean it's ok. Mediocre food but great atmosphere. It's preferred to order online with the universal app. No coke products, only tea, water, and butterbeer. I would have much rather had French fries instead of potato wedges with my fish and chips, but oh well.
We’ve come twice and both times our food was brought to our table cold and the staff couldn’t care less and won’t do anything about it. The last visit there was hair in the food and the drinks came twenty minutes after our food to and the waiter was clearly inebriated. This place is an embarrassment.
As if the food wasn't bad enough, the employees were MISERABLE. And the place had just opened!
Really busy and ordering was a bit confusing. Few selections but probably because they move so many people quickly through this in park restaurant.
We ordered on their mobile app, and couldn't ever get confirmation that the order was placed so we had to ask for assistance with that. After waiting over 30 minutes for our order we asked to check on it and it came right out. Cold, as if it hadn't even been under a warmer. Also they don't bring your drinks until they bring your food, so you don't even have a drink to sip on. Food was tasty and would have been good if it was hot.
