A culinary experience.love the wait staff and the food.my now favorite restaurant in Gainesville. 10/10 recommend.

Came to the restaurant hearing good reviews, it was less than halfway full and there were 4 servers. It took 5 minutes standing there with people looking at us before we were sat, and then no one served us or took drink orders for 10 minutes. Tables seated after us were served water. We walked out.

An instant save and favorite place after only our first time here! We kept ordering more dishes, and each one was better than the last. 1st time not having any leftovers. And that's a good thing. If you were thinking on coming here, don't just come, rush here!

Excellent food, laid back atmosphere, with a stage for local talent to perform on certain days

First time and was not impressed. There was no hostess so it took a while for anyone to notice us standing there waiting. There were many servers but it took forever to get items we requested. The food had good flavor but came out barely warm. Would not go back.

Super cute place in downtown Gainesville with INCREDIBLE Latin food. Having a Cuban grandmother myself, that says a lot. Affordable and lots of variety. Servers are super nice and attentive!

Tinker is amazing! The food is delicious and fresh. The service and quality is top tier! I recommend everyone to eat at Tinker.

The food was incredible. I got two arepas (one chicken and one beef). There is a green house sauce that comes with the empanadas and tequenos that was a great addition to the arepas. The staff was very polite and friendly. There was a real DJ (actually using vinyl on turntables) which provided some nice background music. Overall, would highly recommend.

Valentina was a great server, she offered recommendations, there were many vegan and vegetarian options which is unusual for a Latin restaurant. The portions were substantial. You will not leave hungry. The owner was nice and we will definitely be returning.

So much fun. Savory and delicious. We tried every mojito flavor. You just can’t go wrong here.

The best Venezuelan restaurant I have tried in a long time. The ambiance was phenomenal and the server Natalia was a sweetheart. The cheese mini arepitas and the empanadas are so delicious.

I found this place when I was looking for the best spot for arepas in Gainesville, and I was recommended this place by a friend. First off, the service was the best I’ve had in such a long time. Our server was named Andrea, and she was amazing. She would check up on us a god amount of times, she made sure we had everything for our meals, she had such a great welcoming energy.i recommend this place for good food, great service, and amazing music.

As a long time Alachua County resident, I am always looking for restaurants to introduce my guests to who travel from the Midwest. After my last experience at Tinker Latin Restaurant, I will be taking all of my visitors there from now on. I had family members here for an early Christmas and they could not stop talking about their dishes through the duration of their stay. I even took them to several top rated restaurants in St. Augustine, but they still insisted that Tinker was the best of the best. Each dish was so flavorful! I looked over at one point and my cousin had her eyes closed, savoring the food, lol. Our server Andrea was also top notch, friendly, smart and attentive. While my family isn’t vegan, I am, so I was very grateful for the options Tinker provided and how knowledgeable and conscientious they were about getting it right for me. All in all, my family and I give Tinker Latin Restaurant a 13 out of 10. ️️️️️

This is our 5th time here. Sometimes with group, other times with just my husband and I and the food is always excellent. We've tried multiple things on the menu and it is always excellent my absolute favorite thing I rave about to everyone I tell about this place is their cachapa cheese bites! The only place I've ever had them, and they are SO addicting! Love Love Love Tinker?
