Tinta Y Cafe - Coral Gables reviews
13Amazing spot in every way. They just received the Bib Gormand from Michelin and it shows. Highly recommend
Very chill, accommodating and beautiful atmosphere. We had spent the last two days driving on a long road trip so coming here felt like an oasis of sorts. Ordered a turkey salad and a couple of the empanadas and croquetas, everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Our server was very kind and answered any questions we had about the menu. Great spot!
The worst wait time ever. For three empanadas more than 30 minutes to get? I don’t understand. The girl in the front is running around not really doing much and not logistically trying to give things to people and the girl making the coffee doesn’t even try to acknowledge the people waiting. I don’t understand what’s so hard about multitasking.
Something needs to be done about the wait time my coffee was cold already by the time I got my food. Ridiculous.
Service is one of the worst ones in Miami. The tables outside were wet and not one server offered to clean them so customers could sit. I dried the table myself and even after giving a generous tip, they said that I need to pick up my order at the window since they only bring the food and coffee to people sitting inside. The least they could do is walk 10 feet and bring my order outside but instead they server waived so I could get it. It also took 20 minutes to get 2 coffees so besides being a bad service it is also slow. When I finally got the coffee, it tasted horrible/burnt! I would stay away from this place and it's horrible service.
Although their food is good, definitely don’t know anything about customer service on their management. I tried placing an order from the Coral Gables site and on the website it got switched to Miami shores (my bad not double checking) when I got there to pick up my order (on the gables) they made me realized it was on the wrong spot. Front desk was trying to help me, however called the management from both places and they told me money was lost. I’m sure they sold those sandwiches that I was not going to pick up to someone else, it’s their classic ones, instead of at least helping me not loose alll my money and maybe replacing half, they gave me no options. WILL NEVER BY hERE again. Not worth it when someone doesn’t support local customers
Amazing sandwich! The ham croquetas, delicious. The coffee was great. Pan de bono was sooooo good! Love the place.
Best sandwiches in Miami. Great customer service as well! I love coming here always great vibes and great people and coffee
Idk if I just went on a bad day, but the only good thing about this place is the sandwiches. The El Guajiro was delicious! However, the coffee was HORRIBLE! I even had to send it back (which I hate doing!) because it tasted burnt and was un-drinkable. We ordered the Cafe con Leche and the Dirty Chai and they were both completely disgusting. Even when I sent it back and got a Cortadito, that also tastes burnt! (And then they charged me for the drink I sent back… rude). The spinach croqueta was good! But the Ham croqueta was so bad I couldn’t even finish it. One of the worst I’ve ever had. I don’t think I will be able to come back to his place… the cons strongly outweigh the taste of the sandwich.
Ever since this place got their Bib, their service has gone down the drain. Slow as can be (20 minutes for A COLADA). Unattentive. Lesser quality. Sad cause I was an OG supporter but now I won’t be coming back.
Cozy gem in the Gables! The sandwiches were delicious, made to order, and the servings were substantial. Loved the decor and the friendly staff just made the experience extra special! Do yourself a favor a save room for the flan, absolutely spectacular!
The wait is always insane. Waited 40 min for two Nutella croissants, and then they messed up the order and only had 1 after we Waited so long.
Amazing service and listen to me when I tell you this…. BEST PORK SANDWICHES IN MIAMI. I’ve tried them all. For all of you crying about laptops… it’s a restaurant not an office. Just because it serves coffee doesn’t mean you need to start bringing in computers and getting work done. Crazy that you would rate a place 1 star not because of food but because you can’t use a computer while you eat…. Lol what a joke!
