I took my Explorer to Tires Choice on Derek Ave to swap my factory 18 inch wheels for upgraded 20 inch ones I got on Marketplace. They also had to put the sensors from the old wheels on the new ones. After calling several places, John from this tire choice was the only one willing to fit me in even though it was already late in the day and at a reasonable price. It was not an easy job as the new rims turned out to be reverse mounted and swapping the sensors was also a pain in the neck. Regardless, Adam and Jonathan really took their time to do a great job for us. My Explorer looks and drives great. Very happy with the result! This will definitely be my shop for all my tire purposes, next time with an appointment lol. Highly recommend them! Thank you John, Adam and Jonathan!

Discovered I had a almost flat tire after work. I don't know anybody in the area since I just moved here from Englewood. Adam was very friendly and he and his employee helped me out right away and didn't even charge me. That is true customer service. I will be going back to Tire Choice to have other work done on my car for that very reason.

Very disappointing experience to say the least. I left my Honda Civic for tire repair as it was slowly leaking air. Shortly after, I was called and explained on the phone that the tire is not repairable as the air leak/damage is on the shoulder and the tire needs to be replaced. I advised them that I will stop by during my lunch break to see the damage before anything is done. When I got there, a technician unsuccessfully tried to demonstrate a leak in the shoulder by spraying it with soap water and inflating the tire for 10 mins. There was NO leak in the shoulder area. They could not demonstrate it. There was a screw in the middle of the tire, completely repairable. In my eyes, this was a deceiving practice to make me purchase one and possibly two new matching tires. When I confronted the manager, instead of recognizing the facts and apologizing, he claimed that he saw the leak in the shoulder. How can a leak miraculously disappear within couple of hours? This was a disappointing experience. I walked out of there with a decision not to spend my money at this shop. I was wondering how many other people have been conned to do repairs or part replacements without a need.

Was falsely told I needed new lug nuts due to swelling. Not only did they lie about that, they tried to charge me $100 for $30 lug nuts. Never coming here again.

Absolutely the worst customer service. I don’t know how you are in business you had my 26 year old daughter in tears. Two times. You don’t tell a customer who had four new tires put on her car last year that she “should call mommy and daddy and tell them you need a new tire”. What the heck are you thinking? You obviously don’t care about your customers. Next time I am in town we will speak in person. In the mean time I have sent what I know to my lawyer. Then she had to drive to another shop ON A FLAT TIRE because you were obviously no help. I wish there was a negative star choice

This us my 3rd time at the Bradenton Rt 70 location and I have also used Rt 64 in Bradenton. I have been continuously disappointed at the rt 70 location (closer to home) but because I have lifetime balance and rotation on $2200 worth of F250 Toyo Open Country AT III tires, I feel stuck with them as long as I have these tires. Tires are great, but service of this company is awful. The last time I was here "Bruce" refused to balance the tires with 10k miles on them stating it was too soon. They didn't rotate them as planned (even though they told me they did), and it took almost 2 hrs to replace 1 TPMS sensor that they broke installing the tires at rt 64. I came back after 10k more miles to work with 2 new service advisors to repair/replace another sensor and re-balance tires for the first time (scheduled appointment where I gave yr/make/model in advance). Quoted 1 hr to re balance 4 tires- took them 2 hrs. After the 2 hrs they asked me to come back later that day for the sensor because they didnt have any (this was yesterday).
I couldn't make it back same day, so they offered a following day appointment (today). I arrived and was told 45-60 min to replace the sensors as they told me I really need 2 - I was still sitting after 90 minutes and my truck was still up on the lift. When they finally called me over, they tried to charge me for tire balancing! I have lifetime balancing and they just balanced all 4 yesterday, and said they wouldn't even need to rebalance to install the tpms. I'm not sure if they don't know what is going on, or they just dont care about whay they tell customers and keeping integrity, but this is really bad service all around. I will never buy a tire or use this company again. I would advise you to use anyone other than Tire Choice on Rt 70 in Bradenton. At least pick another location only if they are the only company with tires that you must have.

Went to Tire Kingdom on Fruitville exit 210 and he told me to come back another day. Lol. I immediately called tire Choice bc I deal with tire choice in North Port and they treat me right. Same experience here as well. They immediately pulled the nail out gave it to me and put a plug in the tire. In and Out no problems. Wait time approx 15-20 mins which is not bad. I recommend Tire Choice. They have always treated me good.

I have been a customer at this store for 10+ yrs and multiple vehicles. Now I am looking for a new place to take my vehicles for service. My last trip there was disappointing to say the least. The top two items on my list that I made an appointment for both drivability issues were not completed. I had to call after vehicle was in all day to hear it’s ready to go. I asked about the two main items and got the response that we don’t have anyone we trust here to do the work so we saved you money!
I took off work and made an appointment and should have been told in advance. To top it off the new manager was there, listened to the entire conversation and just stared and said nothing. Great start buddy good luck this shop is going to need it.

Had a unlucky nail in my front driver's front after getting off work at 5 and I stopped by at least 3 tire shops asking for a patch and was denied each time. Of course each store was closing soon and may have been busy. I had a looming trip the next day and started to worry I shouldn't risk it. However here at Tire Choice Tommy was able to help. After my 200 miles trip I had ANOTHER nail, different tire. I arrived into town late, I didn't have another trip but I stopped by Tire Choice and they were again able to provide reliable service. Will always be coming here, right off of exit 205.

I use to trust and bring all of.my vehicles to this location, but recently they have disappointed me, and not done the work I paid for. Example…. 4 new tires on my son’s car, and did not balance the tires as needed when they mounted them, leaving a bad vibration. They had me bring it back, and still very noticeable vibration, brought it back again which makes 3 times for something that should have been done during initial visit. I got past this issue, and recently paid for a oil change and tire rotation…got my car home and the tires weren’t touched, no rotation. Can’t even be sure they changed my oil. They had no idea how to re-set the maintenance light and I figured it out in15 seconds. The quality of work here is sub-par, and I let the shop know that they have lost my business moving forward. It’s a shame because under the previous staff, I never had these issues. So Long tire choice-Derek Rd.

Check engine light came in after AAA put in a new battery. John cleared the codes and has us back on the road quickly. Would recommend!

Great first experience at this place. Tommy, John and JJ were very accommodating when I arrived with an almost-flat tire and no appointment. Professional, friendly and courteous.they had my tire fixed and I was back on my way in no time! I'm a real estate agent and I'm constantly on the road. It's nice to know that the guys at Tire Choice will be there to help next time I'm in a jam. Thank you!

Manager is a complete ahole no customer service racially profiled me and my pops saying cause were black we don’t know mechanics or basically how a business works two vechicals one worker all day 15 cars been here 2hours and still aren’t done with the tires only needed 4

I called about 10 different places before I tried Tire Choice, but I'm very glad that I ended up with them! They provided excellent service and were very helpful when I was having a bad day!

I brought my 4runner to this shop to mount and balance 4 tires that I bought from tire rack. During the alignment process they gouged my aluminum alloy wheels (see pics). When I told the desk manager he said I need to come back tomorrow when the manager was in. I'll keep this thread posted on the resolution but it's not looking good.

Manager was patient with me and explained that this is what happens when you spray paint your wheels. Wish I knew beforehand as I would have waited until after the tires were mounted to spray paint them. Thanks Tire Choice for helping me figure this out!
