Tire Kingdom, Eustis FL

First time I came for an alignment in my 93 Toyota pickup waited for half an hour before they told me that they can't do it because my truck is too old and no other shop had problems with doing an alignment on my truck. The second time I brought in my 04 Tacoma and they tried to charge me $30 extra because my truck had a 1 inch body lift. Body lifts have nothing to do with suspension geometry. These guys have no clue what they're talking about. The Apopka store said they would do it for the cheaper price and it had nothing to do with the alignment.

Price quoted over phone was not honored. I was quoted $363 plus tax over the phone for the 2 tires with mounting. Upon arrival it became $392 plus tax, for the exact same item/service. The rep said the person I spoke to on phone must not have included everything. Well I specifically asked at the time, and he said it did. Then I mentioned this new walk-in price is higher than large competitor down the street, and the rep said I should go there then (and I would have, except they needed 4 hours to get the tires versus in stock at TK store). Wow. This is either incompetence or dishonesty - either way I am not at all happy

Got my oil changed. The wait wasn't too bad for a Friday near closing time. The representative was professional and worked well with meeting each customer's needs.

I am always weary about any mechanic service and I never give 5 stars as there is always room for improvement.

That being said, I got the oil changed and the tires rotated. I was surprised by the bill of almost a 100 bucks. Then I considered my truck. The oversized tires and the V8 that requires 8-9 qts of lubricant. I also considered the level of service because I watched the mechanic perform the maintenance. The man was extremely detailed about the process and the clean up. Even using a torque wrench to torque the wheel nuts to specification.

So yeah I could have gotten it done cheaper elsewhere and even free at Ford. Ford had a 15 day wait and the last time I went to a Pep Boys, I ended up with yellow paint on the side of my truck I did not want and it was a teeth pulling experience to get them to fix it.

Yes I would recommend this particular Tire Kingdom to anyone.

The worse place to take your vehicle they damage my daughter car oil drain plug so I'll have to get a new oil pan very incompetent people including the manager that I spoke to, will never recommend Tire Kingdom to anyone ever

I went to tire kingdom today. They did not have my tire. So they had to get it from another store they said at least a couple of hours. So I was waiting 2 hours pass guy called up to ask where my tire is. They told him we are short staffed we have not went and got it yet. Mind u I went to tire kingdom before they opened 715 they called to get my tire. I wish the driver told them that in morning they was short staff would have went someplace else. But by time I heard it. It was to late everyone’s appointment was at 2 or 3 to change tire at other places. But tire kingdom front desk guy at 7601 Majorca place in Orlando was excellent he felt bad letting me wait 4 hours he called them like 3 times. He said my manager can call him he will tell him I’m there. So I won’t get in trouble. He cares about customers. It was not there fault it was driver that should have communicated with them at first not later. But finally got tire 4 hours later.

Great place. Got what I needed done right and fast work. Good prices for what I needed done. Handicap accessible and people who can assist.

Always go here for tires and always treated good, never any issues!

Great service, Jason the manager went out of his way to get me in and out as fast as possible.my go too for tires

I had my car towed to this place for just a new tire. I was going to ask them to do more but I will not do that now. Jason told me they could have the tire changed and that he would call me. It never happened and I never got a call. I called Friday and Saturday and the car is still sitting there and it is Sunday and they are closed. I work in the hospital and require transport for work but instead had no communication that I would be car-less all weekend while I was ON CALL! Due to a national shortage of rentals, this was not an option either. This place will NEVER get my business again. Be warned ️

I have been going to this location for years and have always had the best experience! These guys are amazing. They are always super friendly and quick. Even when busy it is worth the wait!

This will definitely always be my place to go to for my car now. My car was over heating. I called they said they were busy, but go ahead and bring it right over. They called me not even an hour later, they let me know the issue and had to order a part. I was expecting to be without a car for a week, because they had to order a part but they called me next day and said it was ready! I recently got 4 new tires about a month ago, unbeatable price and was ready quick. I noticed they know customers by their names, which lets me know their clientele believes in them like I do now! Thanks again to all the gentlemen upfront and in the shop!

I am a heart transplant patient that cannot wear the covid-19 masks. I entered today to putchase tires and sat and waited. I was asked eventually if i had a mask. After explaining my medical situation. I had to leave. Not asked to step outside and we can help you. Not even an attempt to figure out a way to keep a 10 year customer. Needless to say tire kingdom will no longer get my business. Very disappointed

The best tire and brake shop I’ve ever been in! They were very informative. I got a alignment, brakes and two new tires and it was very worth it. The price was very reasonable and I am very happy.

Called to get a quote, was quoted $189.99 for brake pads. Took the vehicle to get them changed, after waiting an HR they finally looked at the vehicle stated they would need to put routers and brake pads on and it would cost $650 for parts because they had to find routers. O Reilly's auto has routers for $30.99 and brake pads for $15.99. While sitting there they charged an elderly man over $100 for brake fluid and power steering fluid. Will not be going back there and will advise any other customer to find elsewhere to go. They are just trying to upcharge.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade and have always received excellent customer service and professionalism whether it’s been Jason, chris or any of the other gentlemen that are working in the bays they just make you fill like family. My vehicles are always ready in a timely fashion prices are reasonable and competitive for our general area.

Today was my first time using Tire Kingdom and I wish I could give more stars than just 5 stars.

It’s unfortunate that some people have given this place such low reviews. I don’t agree with the poor reviews at all.

Their communication skills were immaculate, their customer service was impeccable and they built amazing customer rapport with me.

Jason, the store manager actually cares to get you the best deal for the work your car needs and explains everything they’re doing and why they’re doing it.

D (I don’t think this is how you spell it, I’m sorry!) is another great employee that provides amazing customer service as well.

My check in was quick, the wait time was only a few short hours and when I checked out they made sure I knew exactly what I was paying for.

Thank you Tire Kingdom of Eustis, for an absolute joke of an experience and absolute waste of time.
If you make an appointment, don't expect to be serviced anywhere near that time. Expect to be given the round-around by the manager, who told me verbatim: "I tell everyone, if you come to Tire Kingdom, expect no less than an hour wait" - even if you make an appointment! RIDICULOUS.
So here's what happened:

[Let me start off by prefacing that I work on cars, so I know when someone is giving me a bunch of baloney. What I needed done is an alignment, which requires a special machine to do the job. If this was a do-it-yourself task, I wouldn't have even gone to a shop in the first place. ]

Made an appointment for 4PM for a simple alignment [a relatively quick job to do, most of the time]. Got there on-time, and while I was being checked in, another customer asked the manager assisting me "Hey, how much longer until you get to me? I've been waiting a long time and had an appointment". The manager gave him the round-around as to why it had taken so long.
This was not a good sign.

Then I asked how long it would be for the alignment to be done on my car, and I was told "Oh you're easily looking at an hour, give or take". I said "I made an appointment for 4PM, I don't understand how it'd take that long to do an alignment on my car", to which I was then told "I tell everyone, if you come to Tire Kingdom, expect no less than an hour wait. "

[But WAIT-It Gets Better! ]
Since I had stuff to do this afternoon, I asked to make an appointment for a morning slot instead for later on this week (figuring I could get-and-out faster). What was the manager's exact, verbatim response? "Well if you do that, just make sure you're actually going to stick around next time instead of leaving".
Well maybe I wouldn't have left this afternoon if YOU had a start-time for my vehicle that was remotely close to my APPOINTMENT TIME.

It was at this point, I told the manager to cancel my appointment and I'd be going elsewhere for service. There are plenty of shops in the area who can do the same exact thing.

Mr. Manager needs a Basic 101 in Customer Service, and more importantly, a reality-check that customers shouldn't be expected to wait a perpetual amount of time due to your lack of work-load balance-scheduling.

Again thank you, Tire Kingdom of Eustis, for wasting my time. I'll be sure to deter my local car-enthusiast and motor-head buddies to STEER CLEAR of this location.
Our money and TIME will be clearly valued greater elsewhere.
