Toasted Mango Cafe, Sarasota FL

Great local spot. The breakfast is awesome, and kid friendly. They have great food and smoothies.we are always looking forward to our next visit!

I don’t review places normally but we had a great breakfast here. We ordered the Toasted Mango Waffles and Toasted Mango Avacado Toast and extra fresh fruit. The service was excellent. The food was the best breakfast we had in many years. Everything was super fresh and plated so well. The portions were generous and the coffee was good.

Food was good, however eggs could have been warmer. And they messed up my side.

My issue is minor, but I would be remiss not to say. Their credit card machine broke during a morning rush and I noticed they weren't telling people as they sat them. Which caused a bit of an issue upon leaving since the tone of the "manager" was very frustrated and curt, making it feel like it was the customers' issue, not theirs, upon cashing out. Bit of a log jam at the counter, and I was a bit surprised at the attitude that patrons were getting.

I was only in town for a couple days but I had both breakfast and lunch here each day and all were very good.

This spot came highly recommended. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The award winning mango waffle was top notch. Crab cake eggs Benedict was amazing! There was no shortage of crab meat and it was so flavorful. Avocado toast was a good light option. Corn beef hash was delicious. Omelette with seafood was okay. Great spot for brunch! The bathroom had these awesome sugar scrubs.

Service was great! Food was high quality with fresh ingredients. "Home fries" are what look like quartered new potatoes (golden potatoes?) which were ok. I'd probably go for a ride of fruit or greens next time.

I love it here. Brought their hot sauce back home to Canada and I've been eating it with everything!

Friendly service, delicious pancakes, and world class french toast. A must try for breakfast!

I went to this place the other day.
It was virtually empty, one couple sitting at the table, and one other couple standing at the door waiting to be seated.
The three of us stood there for about 10 minutes, watching several members of staff chat in the kitchen, set up the audio system, just walk around back and forth in the dining room.

Then I left. I mean, really? I know all the usual excuses "covid, inflation, understaffed, blah, blah". But when you literally have more staff in the room than you have customers, is it really that much to ask to not keep then standing at the door while you are putting on your favorite playlist?

Great place to get an really good breakfast, good food, good service.
Had Denver Omlet, alot of filling.

Excellent food. We have vacationed in Sieste Key now for 7 years. We make sure we stop at Toasted Mango at least one time, usually twice. This year did not disappoint. Food and staff was outstanding.
