Toledo Blade Animal Clinic, North Port FL

This is an updated review. I took my previous cat there & they were wonderful up til I put her down. I recently took in a 12 year old cat from someone who had passed away rather than her go to a shelter & possibly be put down. I didn't know anything about her or her history. I brought her back here because of the experience I had previously. I'm sorry I did. My cat is in pain. They recommended these shots which are too expensive for me. I asked about oral options and they recommended another type of shot with no oral options. And this was after 4 attempts to get a hold of the vet. I know there are oral options available & for them to make me feel that my cat has to suffer or me spend money that I don't have is outrageous. I'm not sure what happened here. But the front desk staff has been wonderful.it's a shame when money comes before the animal & that's truly what happened here.

First visit with my dog who was diagnosed with diabetes. However, She did have pancreatitis which was not even mentioned & needed emergency hospitalization that evening.

*IN RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY* The fact you come at me trying to shame and embarrass me for needing financial assistance at the time speaks volume of your character and how you conduct yourself professionally. Yes, it was 7 years ago. Had I known I could leave a review 7 years ago, I would have.

The worst experience of a life time with my beautiful dog. And man handled my sickly cat. I wouldn't bring my pet rat there if I had one. I live with trauma what happened to my dog. They messed up blood work not once but three times. Could never get the results. It was too late. I'm not sure if it's the same vet. But I would never step foot in that place.

Dr. Minnich, his wife Stacy, and all of the staff at Toledo Blade Animal Clinic are amazing. We have taken our pets to different veterinarians in the area over the years and have overall been happy with other clinics. However, Kris and Stacy provided advice that has resulted in our yorkie having almost a year of extra quality life when other folks were telling us to put her down. I cannot recommend this clinic enough.the professionalism and quality of care are unparalleled in my experience.

We have been taking 3 dogs to Dr. Minnick at Toledo Blade Animal Clinic for just over 1 year. He and his staff are always very good with them, and his pricing is affordable. So far, we are happy with our experiences. Wait times are never crazy, and the front desk is always helpful. It's a small clinic with an easily accessible and convenient location.

Great staff that really care about the animals. They can usually accommodate you in the schedule if needed.

Today, I was turned away from my appointment as the staff informed me of their "10 minute late policy". According to the clock behind staff members, I was only 5 minutes late. They refused to let me see the Vet and became demeaning and rude toward me and my daughter. We have been patients for over 10 years, and in those 10 years, there have been multiple times that we have waited much longer than 10 minutes to see the doctor. As of today, we are looking for new Vet.

Dr. Lauren is amazing she has saved my baby three times in his 15 years of life. I am truly blessed to have her and her staff in my life thanks again for making my life and my Zekey”a life better.

Very unprofessional, schedule an appointment for x ray to see pups. Then was up charged for something I did not ask for knowing she is pregnant just by visually seeing her. Arguing with the vet about it. Looks like He clearly likes to be right all the time.always took my dog there since moved to Northport 3 years ago. Will no longer be going back. The other vet lady is always great and enjoy her services making me feel welcomed

They saw my puppy the same day I called after my other dog but him. It happened on a Saturday night and I took him to North Port Emergency Vet where they told me I would have to wait at least 7 hours for the doctor to see him. I wait in my car for 2 hours before they told me it would be longer than 7 hours! He's only 14 weeks old and they didn't consider that an emergency because he stopped bleeding! I finally just went home and waited for Monday. I called Toledo Blade and they gave me an appointment right away. He ended up having 2 infected absesses. He needed surgery to drain them and had 2 drains put in. The doctor and staff were wondering and caring. I won't go to any other vet after this experience.

These are wonderful caring folk! And professional.knowledgeable. Experts. I wish I had found them along time ago.

I was referred to this Vet by a dear friend. I am so happy with Toledo Blade Animal Clinic, WOW! The most caring Loving Staff I ever have had in my entire life. My animals are completely spoiled to the core, Yet the staff at this place spoils them even further, They care for your pet as if they owned it. Always follow up phone calls after your visit to check up on your animal, the Vet, I've forgotten her name Yet she is simply amazing, very confident, always offers solutions and her personal advice, instead of going after your wallet because they actually care about you as a customer and greatly care for your animals. I personally THANK YOU to the entire staff at Toledo Blade Animal Clinic, You guys are the BEST

I cannot say enough about the wonderful care. Our dog has always been treated so wonderfully. He had an issue this Thursday that needed immediate attention. They knew, squeezed him in on a Friday, and took excellent care of his out patient situation. Thank goodness for people who care about our fur babies.

My dog Marley can be difficult with strangers because she is protective. Her team at TBAC is so compassionate, caring, and so helpful when I'm frustrated and she's scared. Whenever something happens to Marley, they work with me to get her in ASAP. Thank you all so much for being so supportive. ️
