They really overcharge on labor. The work has been good, but since I was waiting across the street, I saw the car go in the bay I saw it was fixed in half the time they charged me. “It is what it is” I was told when I questioned it.

The folks at Tommy's Auto Service have always gone above and beyond but this time they really hit it out of the ball park by saving me money. After the repair, my car runs like new. Also, I had forgotten to ask them to put some air in my tires but once I got home and looked I found they had even done that!

Took good care of my toyota and are very honest about price and necessary repairs. Just make sure to schedule in advance they're very busy!

My vehicle overheated while working. My boss said to take it here. Usually I fix my own truck but he didn't want to give me a day off. They said the radiator was plugged and the cooling system was very dirty. $200 radiator and about $350 in labor. Price was decent if it was fixed properly. I turned my heat on for the first time in winter and no heat. I call and ask why its not working, then they try ro make excuses. Ask me to bring it in, no thanks. They didn't burp the air out of heater core. Always turn the heater on and check it is blowing warm. While getting the air out of the system. This is why I fix things myself. I ended up paying more and having to fix myself anyway. I was a mechanic for about a decade. This is not the level of service I expect.

Great place to take your vehicle honest friendly service at a good price Faith was awesome and quoted us on the issue I was having & was really pleased that the cost was not more than the quote and for those who don't realize on their website they have a coupon towards the total which they applied. Very friendly and definitely will take my vehicle back to them if I need to!

Tommy's automotive was recommended to me. I had been through a few mechanics, and I won't mention names, that were not honest, did horrible work, and charged crazy labor fees!
Tommy's automotive is the complete opposite! They fixed my check engine light by actually screwing down my air filter housing which the last mechanic couldn't seem to do lol. So I decided to get valve cover gaskets replaced and serpentine belt. They were almost $200 cheaper than the quote i got from another mechanic. Faith is the BEST. Great customer service which you never get anymore. They were pleasure to deal with. I recommend them fully!
I'm scheduling an appointment tomorrow to get my a/c freeon checked.

Our 20’ Pleasureway Rv’s electrical shut down while visiting St Petersburg Fl. CAA (AAA) came and gave us a boost but later same day it died. Was told to go to Victory auto or Ford dealership. Victory only worked on cars but recommended Tommy’ Auto, Ford said they couldn’t get to it for at least a week. Mark at Tommy’s Auto found us a a lovely vacation apt in Madeira beach and we picked up our RV two days later with a reco alternator. An honest business and above average service! Thank you Mark and Chris.

So this place is full of liars, the owner Mark and his tech magician/secretary! I had my engine totally rebuilt by Ford the and the performance of the car was not great. I was recommended to go to Tommy's from a friend. I brought the car in to get it checked for rattling and my tire warning light to be fixed because it's constantly going off. They charged me $75 and his female so-called technician told me that that light was fixed, the TPS was reset and I would have no problem. Well the first time I get in the car, in 20 minutes of course the light goes off which is exactly what was happening. I wrote this review spoke to Mark he said if I took it down he would give me the $75 back. When I called back to say the review is down and I will write a very good review if you just give me my $75 back Mark declined and said I want to make it right by you I want to see the car. Too bad Mark I don't want you or your awful mechanics to touch my vehicle I've noticed there's some really bad reviews here and I tend to think those are very truthful. This is a terrible place, they are both liars and I would never recommend it! Stay away from it because I Can Only Imagine the things they're charging people for that they don't even need. I told Mark imagine if I came to your home and you left me an envelope to cut your grass and you came home and the grass wasn't cut, would you expect the money back? Of course his response was yes, well then what the hell is the difference between that and what they've done to me. STAY AWAY!

Tommy's was recommended to me by a trusted source who takes care of their vehicle. I was pretty tired of the pressures that the dealership was bombarding me with via constant emails. I appreciate reminders, but not so much with blowing up my email. And it seemed that no matter what I was taking my car in for, they seemed to find something else. So I decided to give Tommy's a whirl. I took my car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. They did check for any other issues, made some suggestions for future routine maintenance, and then I was on my way. I went back for my next oil change and to see if they could fix or replace a door handle that was giving me trouble. Faith knew by the make/model/year of my car what the issue was and called me back with a price. I compared that to what the dealership quoted and had Tommy's replace the handle. They were able to get the part and replace it that same day. Tommy's is now my go-to place for all my auto repairs and maintenance. They offer great service at a fair price and deliver it all with their knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous staff.

Faith is so knowledgeable! She saved me almost $1300.00 and a headache. A large auto repair company (rhymes with Davis) told me to get my CV joint and axle seal replaced. The guy at Davis told me that it was dangerous to drive on. Faith explained to me that the diagnosis was incorrect. I did however have an oil leak (that Davis did not find), which was critical!
Best service and best explanation I have ever received on any issues with my car. I am very impressed with the service! The only place I will take my car from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. This place is busy- I had to set an appointment and I now know why! Thank you so much for being honest and awesome!
