17They had homely food. Took me back to middle and high school food. But that was back almost 16 years ago. But they got the class of early 2000s food down packed
Had a great experience here tonight! Our server was awesome, atmosphere was clean and comfortable, Food was fresh and delicious. I have not a single complaint! Took home two whole cakes for Mother’s Day. These are our favorite!
I love this place and have gone many times. The wait staff is beyond friendly which is always a good start. Believe it or not I love their chicken tenders and the coconut pie is to die for!
The cheap prices are on point for the quality of food you get. I got the chicken Caesar wrap and could easily tell they use canned chicken for it. It had a tuna-like taste to it.
Food was great
Fruit plate and salmon omelet was terrific
Our server, a bit brash for 8am on a Sunday
Maybe a bit too pushy, Long Island thing Maybe.
But, I'll be back
Ordered a takeout day before by phone because wanted to make it clear that wanted wraps cut in three. When I went to pick it and checked it, cut in half on the diagonal, 4 pieces instead of 12. Paid for them and ordered 2 more wraps cut in three. The manager did not charge me for the additional wraps. He said, “their mistake. ”
Mistakes happen but how you address them makes all the difference.
This place was recently sold to an investor group. It’s a small chain here in South Florida. They are downsizing and cutting some things out of the menu. The location in Palm Beach Gardens was shut down and do it to at lease dispute. You used to be able to order from the app but now you can’t anymore. Things are looking bad. I don’t expect this establishment or any of its restaurants to survive much longer. It’s a shame because I’ve came here for decades. Love the matzah ball soup, Reuben sandwich, and chicken fingers.
I love toojays always a good breakfast. Went here after sunrise service on Easter. Been there a few times and it is always consistently good.
Horrible experience. We called to let them know that our order was wrong and the girl on the phone was incredibly rude and hung up on us when we asked for her name.
They didn’t give us the 1 pound of coleslaw that we ordered, and the “EXTRA LEAN” corn beef sandwich was all fat.
Never coming back here.
Sandwiches are my favorite meal and their sandwiches are all done right. Even their hamburgers, meat loaf and fish and chips are just a few items that I have enjoyed. And if you have a sweet tooth…cheese cake, carrot cake, killer cake…if that is scary think bananas and have a slice of banana dream cake.
2 days, same week.
1st day, I stood at the entrance for 10 minutes without anyone saying "hi can i help you today? Dinning in? Etc. So I left for surf taco.
2nd day, i sat at the bar for 10 minutes before anyone asking me if I was being helped. Then, I was told we are not serving the bar today, so I left.
Shame they closed the Palm beach gardens location, never happened there! Probably had my food in 15 minutes.
We went and had waffles, eggs, bagels, coffee, oranges, everything is awesome. Our server Charlie was off the charts, helpful attentive really enjoyed our experience.
What happened? No dill chicken salad also no turkey rueben. Prices are higher with new owners and ir got worse! We walked out! Terrible now!
Great shrimp salad! Had lunch one day and went back for breakfast the next day. Everything was fresh and delicious. Great baked goods!
Popped in for late dinner. Hubby had clam chowder-soup & 1/2 sandwich. He asked for a wrap but wasn’t too impressed. I tasted the chowder, although very thick, it was delish! My chicken dish came drowning in butter, caper sauce, a little too much and the mashed potatoes & carrots were cold. Took those home to heat up the next day! Service was good. Young servers who seemed to work together as a team. Next time I might just go for the trusted bagel & smoked salmon!
We placed an order and then called to cancel it. The rude individual that we spoke to told us it couldn't be canceled. We accepted that. We expected the food to be delivered at 5: 00. We called at 5: 30 and we're told the order had been canceled. Did I mention this was for a funeral and there wasn't any food. I tried calling and asked for the manager. No one ever picked up. I never complain about anything. This warranted it. This was for a grieving family and Too jays messed up.
