Kevin at the rental counter was great. Very friendly smart and able to multi task like me. Lol I rented a truck for 75 minutes and when I returned it a simple mistake was made. There was an extremely long line and instead if getting frustrated and overwhelmed Kevin handled it with ease. Later he called mw to confirm that the mistake was remedied and I never doubted for one second that he would follow through. That is why I rent pickup trucks from home depot. The trucks are well maintained. The staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful and the prices are really low. Thanks Kevin for fixing the refund and not making me worry about it. These days there is enough to worry about but you made my whole day happy. Thanks again Highly recommend Kevin in the Oakland Park rental section of Home Depot

Hands down the worst experience that I have had dealing with Home Depot. I came in on Saturday to rent a truck. When I approached the counter around 12: 45 with one of my business partners to rent a flatbed truck, there was already a customer being helped by a gentleman but there was a young lady sitting behind the desk. When I proceeded her to ask her about renting a truck, she abruptly cut me off and said that there were no trucks available (there were 3 available at the time, I called and confirmed with the gentleman that was helping another customer). Once I let her know that there was a truck, Per Management, she proceeded to tell me that she just started her break and we will need someone else to help us and she proceeded to text and talk on her cell phone directly behind the counter. At the same time another Home Depot employee finished what they were doing an assisted us on renting the truck. In the middle of going through the rental agreement another customer came in to return a plumbing snake and the rude employee that refused to help with the truck rental proceeded to help the customer that just walked up. Im not sure how the customer service is suppose to go inside of your establishment but this was not the customer service Ive come to know from home depot. This was unprofessional and inexcusable

Worst possible experience with Home Depot since I started buying in 2009. They should be ashamed of the guys working there.employees will treat you with contempt and they will work hard to make sure you don't rent a tool there. Oh and by the way I'm a Pro, spent $15K in the last 3 months at HD.
