Top Hat Deli reviews
15 The food is very delicious, and all the stars go towards that.
Basically everyone's order had one part of it wrong, or something was missing. In one case, the order was completely off.
Ordered the liver pate appetizer, which usually comes with crudité. Well, they just brought the pate with nothing else, and when we proceeded to ask about the celery and carrots, the manager comes out and tells us they have no celery. Mind you, everyone having bloody marys around us had a huge stalk of celery in their drinks.
Could've been that our server was new and lost in translation, between the face masks and the restaurant bustle? Perhaps they should consider adding some noise absorbing panels somewhere.
Anyways, I will think 3 times before going to eat here again. Too bad, cause food was good.
Top Hat is amazing. My third time there was with my family when it’s was mommy’s birthday. I love the service, the food, the time the food came out, and I loved the waitress. Her name was Taismine. She was amazing. She was our favorite waitress. She was Haitian, she nice, she kept us entertained, and the best of all she was respectful to every single one of us entertained. I loved the service. It’s a 5 star review for me.
Love this place, always fresh food and very clean. Even though it's busy all the time, they haven't lowered their standards.
The only reason I am not giving them a 4, they are a bit pricey but damn the food is delicious and they are very creative with the menu and the combination of ingredients! Well worth the visit when you have a bit more to spend on breakfast!
Went there for breakfast. Ordered veggie omelette, gravlax platter. Non fussy, not exciting, properly made deli fare. Standard American (not French} style half circle omelette with lightly brown edges, cooked to medium the way I like it without too much run, a challenge for many others considering it was a veggie omelette. Gravlax is house cured. Comes with 4-5 generous but thinly sliced dill framed salmon, accompanied by tomatoes, Boston lettuce, capers, red onions, cream cheese. I asked them to sub English muffin for the usual bagel, which they did without issues. Service was quick, friendly without hovering. Atmosphere was convivial, without being excessively loud, though I can imagine them being much more boisterous had I arrived at a busier time. I'd definitely come back to try some of the other items on their menu, and would recommend that my friends in the Fort Lauderdale area do so as well.
First time visiting and I wasn't disappointed. The high reviews and ratings are accurate. Very clean space and great food. I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. The staff seems very attentive and friendly also.
My first visit. When to brunch with family. The restaurant was pretty busy but the wait was only fifteen minutes. Good atmosphere. Clean. The food was delicious, the grits with cheese and French toast is a must. Our food came out in a timely manner. Big portions. Everyone had food left over and no complaints. Our server, Taismine, was beyond excellent.
Have been here dozens of times.literally never had a bad meal. Management is always on top of making sure things are running top notch. Turkey Club with that incredibly tasty mayo.with some of their ridiculously crunchy seasoned french fries.easily one of the best lunch spots in town. Also incredible breakfast/brunch items. Challah french toast is the bomb!
The customer service at Top Hat is exemplary. Kudos to the staff and management. The food was amazing and I love the Covid Safe Distancing practices
Authentic deli, pastrami is excellent. Matza ball soup is great. This restaurant is owned by Be Nice group, all locations are excellent
The decor and set up is beautiful. Great service and the food is delicious. I really enjoyed the french toast, fried shrimp, and the wild in the woods drink. No complaints at all, I would definitely recommend.
The staff here are amazing. You can get a cocktail with your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This place specializes in deli sandwiches and soups, along with breakfast. Sometimes a soup is so good you have to get some to take home for another meal. We love the indoor/outdoor feel with the glass garage doors
Stopped in for my first time on a recommendation. It was clean, comfortable, and the service was very attentive and good. I wanted a good Ol' fat pastrami sandwich on seedless rye. I was told they didn't serve that and their Big Classic Pastrami sandwich was recommended with seasoned fries. It was served on a soft bun. Interestingly, it had sauteed onions and some sort of white cheese on it. It was good, but not what would have liked (personal decision). The pastrami itself was cooked a little differently but it did contain the fat necessary for a good pastrami. They also had Dr Brown's soda which is a must in any Jewish deli. I didn't get to see a menu so I don't know if this was a true Jewish style deli. The prices were very good and I believe you'll enjoy a good meal here. Try it yourself! I'm sure that you will get a good meal here.
BTW: they were very meticulous with cleaning tables, the floor, everything! And, there's excellent, ample parking right along side this fine establishment.
Top Hat Deli’s theme is “be nice” and they lived up to that on my visit. This is an upscale deli catering to those living in Flagler Village. I had breakfast which included an omelet with a side of grits and bacon. The omelet was cooked just right and the eggs were fluffy. The grits were fine and included cheese as was the bacon. There is outside seating in addition to counter and regular seating. The coffee was just so so. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and upscale feeling for a traditional deli.
