13Stay away from this place! Worst service ever. The little girl in the front getting the food ready. Has a very nasty attitude. She has fake eyelashes and a rude personality. You will be waiting for over 45 minutes. If she is fired then things will run better. She needs to fix her attitude and face
Down here a wedding, and found this place right by my hotel. I knew I was in the right place right when I walked in. Everything smelled soooo good! Ordered just the Jerk Chicken so I don’t ruin my wedding dinner tonight. Just the right amount of spicy, and the wife and I fought over the last piece. The young lady at the register also recommended taking the ox tail gravy and putting it on my white rice. “Ummm, yes, please! ” Throw in two spicy Jamaican patties, and mission accomplished. Thank you for the great food!

Got the brown stew chicken 5 separate times. Do yourself a favor and try it out. It's absolutely delicious. My favorite place to eat in Homestead/Florida City.
The old lady that is at the cash register has a horirble sense of service yells at workers and creates an uncomfortable environment. The food is ok, but not as good as authentic Jamaican food, hate the after taste.
Curry chicken was bland. My boyfriend loved his curry Goat. Staff was nice. Location was strange.
I ordered an ackee and salt fish breakfast. It came with a piece of yam, boiled dumplings, bananas and plantains. This was early in the morning. When I opened the container the smell of rancid food hit me. That food was not fresh and smelled like it was cooked the day before and reheated. Called to alert the restaurant and the lady instead of taking responsibility and apologizing, made it seem we left the food out too long before eating. I have ordered from them before and the food was presented properly but this time it was horrible. Take ownership and serve fresh food please!
The food was good was not a fan of the dumpling but the carrot cake and bread pudding was also amazing

I get my patties here at least 3 times a week. The oxtail and peas are really good.
The calalou can be a little tough at times and give you this in a can taste.

The jerk chicken is I don't know what but it ain't jerked at all. What a rip off for a Jamaican spot
I have ordered Oxtail, curry chicken, curry goat, steam fish, fried fish all have been very delicious meals I have never had any complaints. The service is always friendly and I especially love when I come in and they have freshly baked bread pudding.
Sometimes appearance of a restaurant is deceiving. They can definitely crank out good food. Love the oxtail reasonable priced
