4Clerk keeps letting their dog run in the road. I believe the clerk works for the family that lives in the house behind the gas station because the kids from that house are always there. Saw them all looking at something in the road one day and they said it was their dog that had been flattened by a car. What do I see wandering in the road today? Another dog (cute brown and black spaniel type). I turned around and went back to see the clerk watching, asked if it was her dog, and she said yes and only then called the dog to get it out of the road. I've seen the clerk have multiple different dogs that eventually vanish. Animal Care and Control will be getting a phone call. It's not hard to keep your dog on a leash. Letting it get hit by a car is cruel.
I normally go in and have a good experience but today I met a new employee or maybe one I’ve never met before. I was threatened and mistreated because I made a statement about her mishandling my item. I would like either to press charged or have her fired.
I went in I a really cold day for South, Fl & was dying for a cup of HOT COFFEE. It was almost closing time yet the cashier Ms. Brenda, asked if I would like for her to brew a fresh pot, I insisted that it would be too much of a waste since they we're about to close & she showed me the Instant Cappuccino Machine. Well, I had an issue operating it & she stopped what she was doing & was quite adamant about fixing the Machine, to where it would brew a cup of French Vanilla. It took her a minute, but she made it happen! I was EXTREMELY Impressed with HER level of Customer Satisfaction & was GRATEFUL to leave with ALL I stopped in for on that particular visit through Canal Point (Cat Food, Anti-Acid Meds, my brand of Cigarettes & Fresh Coffee & Gas). The store was very clean (even the Women's Restroom)! I would highly recommend this place for travelers as well as locals, & it has a SUBWAY inside the store! Can't ask for much more people!
