TownePlace Suites by Marriott Panama City Beach Pier Park

Beware fraudulent credit card activity on my card. I made 1 reservation. I only had one reservation on my account but i was charged for 2 reservations only checked into 1 room. I only have 1 reservation on my Marriott bonvoy account. Robert stated he didn't know what to tell me. Wrong answer Robert. I have stayed 1300 days with Marriott and this is the worst service that I have ever received. The front desk staff needs to be replaced at this location. Very unhappy young lady at the front desk making a very unfriendly environment. If you dont like your job go find one that you do like. Do not respond with i just work here you represent Marriott with all of your actions and words. Please do not force your very unpersonable self on Marriott customers by showing up with an attitude. The breakfast could use some help. Portions are very small and the attendant tried to keep up but was unable to keep it filled without a line piling up. Then the food was gone as fast as it was put out. Now on a positive note the maintenance person and the food service persons were very nice and helpful. Hotel is new and has nice features.

We had a complication with our reservation that we only had a room for one night but we were supposed to have a room for two. Camille remembered our predicament and upon arrival she made it right for us and we had a room for both nights! Camille and Abby went above and beyond to accommodate us and we are so appreciative for their efforts! THANK YOU LADIES!

Beautiful hotel, very new, very clean. Nice breakfast selection. Friendly staff. Huge comfortable spotless room. Perfect location. Nice size gym and pool.

This has to be hands down one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, friendly staff checking in and out, great location and great room. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area or even traveling thru

Right across from PCB pier park. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Outlets/Shopping nearby.

I wish I could give them 6 stars. We were supposed to stay with them this weekend but had to cancel last minute because our kid fell very sick and ended in the emergency room. I called Expedia and they talked to them to waive the cancellation fee - which they did even though nothing obliged them to do that! Thanks Mariott, you' re the best!

Had a great stay here. Lobby, gym, breakfast area were all clean and well maintained. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast options were great and well stocked. Got a free room upgrade with Bonvoy Platinum Elite status.

Great location close to the Pier Park and airport. Rooms were smaller than expected, walls were very thin in the rooms, could hear conversations next-door very easily. Room and appliances all in great shape though, very clean, loved that the TV was mounted on the wall closer to the bed instead of across the room. Breakfast was good and as expected, oatmeal was empty though and never refilled.

My family and I went for a birthday and safe to say we were very disappointed with this hotel, specifically with the breakfast. The breakfast was extremely small, barely any options, the breakfast containers would stay empty for a long time, many people would spend most of the time waiting for them to put new hot food out, us included. The room wasn’t bad, we had a suite and it was clean and had a good space, no complaints about the room. One of the things we look forward to the most has always been the breakfast so you can imagine how we felt. The pool was also extremely small, probably only fits two families at most. Will not be returning.

One of the nicest hotel I’ve ever been to. The room is really big, very clean. The staff is very friendly and try to address all my needs. The location is perfect, no sound from outside. The breakfast is small but very decent.

The hotel didn’t have clean towels to give us after ours were dirty. I went and asked to switch my dirty wash cloths for clean ones and they gave me dish rags and stated they didn’t have anymore clean rags. It’s ridiculous not to have clean linens for a bath after the beach. What kind of hotel doesn’t have clean linens?

I am giving a 4/5 because honestly the staff was very friendly and that’s number 1 for me everywhere I go. That being said, the hotel as such was a bit disappointing. They are not offering room service (every 5 days) due to coronavirus. In a beach area, where you come back with sand and used towels, you absolutely need room service at least every 3 days. The grab-and-go breakfast was literally an apple and a supermarket muffin. It is very easy to add better things such a beagle with cream cheese, yogurt or anything better than that. Also, coffee machine is available and everyone is touching it, so what difference does it make? The breakfast should be available to select what you want and leave. Whoever does not feel safe with that standard, then should not grab breakfast. I understand we are in a very complicated situation currently, but if you are not offering the breakfast and the room service which is one the most important things I paid for, then you should adjust the price accordingly and be transparent when reserving the room. The hotel is dog friendly, which is fantastic, but it have a dog watch out for the ant mounts. My dog was bitten twice. Besides that, they provide poppy bags, which is great

My experience was horrible, I left the hotel, I am not going to mention what happened because due to my health I cannot get upset, but I already saw that with respect to cases similar to mine they have a history of complaints of this type. I hope they improve their policies with service animals and better educate their staff in that regard. I wish you success.

Absolutely terrible management, totally inflexible and unwilling to accommodate any requests. As a titanium Bonvoy member who has stayed at hundreds of Marriott properties, this is the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott.

DO NOT STAY HERE! My husband and I are both in the military and he is about to deploy in a month. We wanted to take a last minute trip with our three dogs. The website says “pet friendly” and did not specify a number. We have 3 dogs, none of them big. They would not let us stay and said we would have to book two rooms because of them. When my husband asked to allow us to either cancel the reservation or pay an extra fee, they were so rude to us and said no. I agree with every other review that this management is absolutely trash. They did not seem to care about their customers or anything related. Again, do not stay here especially if you have furry loved ones.

I highly recommend this hotel. I personally think its very underrated. Its a clean place friendly staff and delicious breakfast.
