Trademark Metals Recycling, Punta Gorda FL

This place is easy going and makes sure I get top dollar. I have been here during hurricane Ian and it was just as easy as a normal day.

I live 25 miles from trademark metals in Cleveland Florida and have always buried my scrap metal there instead of in my hometown. Main reason is prices are the best around and the staff are generally friendly and very helpful, as well as getting in and out. As of late I have been very dissatisfied with the company in general because on Google when searched and also on the gate of the entrance that sign clearly states closes at 4: 00 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon on Saturdays. The last two weeks I've attempted to the trip and made it there at 11: 33 the first weekend and 11: 30 for the second weekend and they were already closed when I approached the building and asked the workers if they were still open they told me know that they close at 11: 30 on Saturdays. I understand the yard closes at 12: 00 and now I understand that the scale closes at 11: 30. It would be much easier if that is what their sign stated instead of me driving 25 miles two weekends in a road trip he turned away because I'm 3 or 4 minutes late past the 11: 30 that's not posted. People sell their scrap
because they are in need of fun not to have a good time I'm not there to make someone stay late or what have you I don't carry truck loads miscellaneous scrap metal which takes about maybe 10 15 minutes to get me through if there's no waiting but it's okay I guess because of my lack of carrier knowledge that would say to me we close at 11: 30 when the sign says 12 it's my bad not a problem not a problem wauchula closes at 12: 00 and it's the same distance as Cleveland next week I will sell my scrap and what you were their sciences 12 they close at 12: 00.

Was able to get in and out fast and the guys in the non-ferrous area were great. The old lady in the office was rude, disrespectful and acted like she just didn't want to be there.

No instructions! Freaking dirt cheap price. On everything. Not worth my time! Bring all receipts, even if u have a 1980 freaking AC. Awful experience with Scale Lady! Gentlemen on the ground had more helpful information than that lady.

Best prices, best service in Charlotte County and surrounding areas. Wouldn't go any where else.

Only complaint? Company would not have materials to load semi trailer's if not for customers bringing material but customers are made to wait while semi trucks are loaded?

Watch your weight. Cause they cheat you every possible time! 8500 lb trk woman accused me of standing on scale? Cmon how much can that help. But manager female! Will cheat you one way or another. Must be a bonus in there for her! Sad chucks recycling. Was honest local family. We miss you chuck. Greedy company. So sad sure it really hurts the locals who do scrapping for a living.

They pay more per pound then most others in the area but the scale operators will rip you off in a heart beat today I took in clean extruded aluminum but the scale operator put in the computer that I had irony alum and alum sheet clean which pays a lot less money so do they actually pay more money no they don't care not going

As a truck driver, I will not ever be back to this place. Over 4.5 hours to get loaded, then over 7k lbs over on trailer axle. Wants to tell me they will have to rework it on next business day without paying my company for their time. No.don't work that way. My time ain't free. Had to rate 1 star but they aren't worth that.

Call me to work and went i got there i didn't have on long paint, so thay sent home with no pay. After I drove 30 mile.

I live in the next county over, in Desoto county and trademark take care of you so well it is worth driving the extra distance

They are by far the most efficient recycling facility in Charlotte county. Paying top dollar for all your scrap metal. So load up and get some cash out of that junk at Trademark Metals.

The guy weighing was helpful and did the job. The young girl at the window expected you to know the routine without ever being there before

First timer on a busy day, but in, out and paid in about 30 minutes. Just about have another load ready to go $$$
