Transmission Doctor and Auto Care, Alachua FL

My family and I broke down on the highway the day before Thanksgiving and went to this shop. The shop was very busy and you can tell people trusted them to work on their high end vehicles also. They fit me in immediately. It took approximately a week to complete the repair, due to parts availability and going the extra mile on the repair to save me money. My only regret is that I live 3 hours from this shop and can’t use them for all of my automotive repairs. Transmission Doctor and Auto Care, LLC, gets my highest recommendation. Thank You!

Brought the car in on Wednesday afternoon and picked it up on Thursday afternoon. The intake staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend them for all repairs, not just transmissions.

Charge $660 for labor and hold the truck for over week.
Drove ok after I pick up but after week the truck has the same problem.
I do not go back because I cannot trust this place.
Never Again.

They did excellent work, were very thorough and addressed everything I asked about.
Positive communication through the entire process which for me was the removal, trouble shooting and installation of transmission and torque converter.

I had the controller replaced. The old one affected the trans in a way that I had to have the car towed. So far all is working great now. It was a quick turnaround and very friendly experience with the team. I never had much trust in others working on my car. I did the work myself and even replaced the controller a couple of years ago. This time I feel assured that this one will last the rest for the life of the car. Much thanks!

They're very good at what you do and they also check for other problems that may cause you a problem later.they're sure to let you know about things, so you can make a decision about what is wrong, or needs to be addressed. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE, BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO.
